Ranjit Singh was a very kind, generous, and brave human/ king. ❤ That is why it was important for british to defame him, so that muslims and Sikhs hate each other, and British can take advantage of it. Ranjit Singh's rule was like a protection to Punjab and India.

As life long history student from India I must appreciate that podcast dealt with many historical facts. Tej Singh was born brahmin from Meerut. Dogras were mainly responsible for decline of Sikh empire. The murder of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's sons Kharak Singh and Sher Singh and grandson Naunihal Singh was the handiwork of treacherous dogras.
Bakwas, Lal Singh and Tej Singh was responsible for loss of Anglo Sikh war. fight among the families of Ranjit Singh after his death for internal family fights. सेहरा डोगरों के सिर बांध दिया।
@@yetendrasingh8279 Lal Singh was patronized by Dhyan Dogra and just to get into services of Maharaja Ranjit Singh he embraced Sikh religion. He was a Hindu shopkeeper till that time. Moreover, war happened much later the assassination of Naunihal Singh was orchestrated by treacherous dogras at the behest of Britishers much before that.

Maharani Jind Kaur was a lady of high character and highly self respecting person. She was the one who fought against the British till the end and never compromised. That is why She was punished very badly by the British.

Big part of Afghan territory is in current Pakistan, thanks to Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Had he not expanded his kingdom, these parts wud not be in Pakistan. Maharaj Ranjit Singh and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj two greats of Indian History.
