You're absolutely right that there are a lot of ingredients in that serum that cause higher sensitivity to the dangerous rays from the sun- so much citrus! I wouldn't recommend applying it in the morning at all, to be honest!
Yes! I'm an esthy, and citrus oils are phototoxic, and will burn you faster in the sun, as well as create brown spotting. Yikes! I would only use that at night, if at all....

As a Harry Potter person I think that I need to subscribe to this box.
Alexandria, make sure you look up switching to natural deodorant before you switch. Standard antiperspirant contains aluminums, and your sweat glands will need to purge all of that before the natural starts working effectively. I personally switched to natural slowly without even realizing it. I used a crystal type deodorant, then did a small swipe of regular antiperspirant on top. I lived in Phoenix so I needed double power. Eventually I phased out the aluminum based antiperspirant altogether and only use natural. Read up on it! I don’t want you to give up on natural just because it may not be effective until your body purges the aluminum type.
I’m pretty much sold on this box now. Between my love for all things Harry Potter, the eco friendly and vegan themes, and skincare heavy products, I think I’m in. Thanks for always bringing us new and exciting ways to pamper ourselves. You are the funnest!! Yes the funnest!

I love that "Luna Lovegood" is one of the owners because I got a hippy vibe from her character in the movie.
Alexandria, if you have never used natural deodorant, your body might* go through a weird adjustment. When I switched to Schmidts, I started to stink like halfway through the day, so I always brought my deodorant with me when I was out. It only lasted about a week or so. I've been using it for almost 3 years now though and love it! Just wanted to give you the heads up!
I tried switching to schmidt's but the formula itself was just to hard and grainy-feeling and didnt apply well. I loved the scent though and didnt smell during a 12 hour shift.
@@Azrielle21 I totally understand! I'm not sure if you tried this but if you touch the deodorant to your underarm for a few seconds, it helps it soften up. I think it also depends on the scent. Rose stained my underarms and was more stiff.

I think it is nice getter more skin care products only because those usually are expensive and I can get makeup cheaper and in other prescription boxes. At the $75.00 price tag, I would make sure it was something I used!

I liked the box. I think I would get use out of most of it but I agree with you. The box should have more makeup. I was a little underwhelmed with the makeup product as I don’t really like the products you need to sharpen. But lots of love for the vid. Thanks for the upload!
Personally, I don't like makeup a lot, but I do sometimes wish there was this box and another box for people who want more makeup because I think that, if they put more makeup in this current box, some teens who don't wear makeup or wear limited makeup might not purchase it.

Hey Ally, if you didn't know already, be careful using vitamin c serums with other products. If you mix it with a product that contains Niacinamide then it can be rendered useless and even cause some irritation to the skin. If you use anything with Niacinamide, use them at separate times like vitamin c at night and Niacinamide in the morning. Also I believe you are right about the sunscreen, some products make your skin more sensitive, like lactic acid. Anyways, sorry for the long winded comment, thank you for your videos, I love watching them all the time! Have a good day :)

I like that box because I love skincare. The big plus is that it's cruelty free and vegan. I think it would be nice to have 2 or 3 makeup items in it tho. I like a nice mix of both. Have a great week ❤️

I use natural deodorant (native) & they do inform you that it can take your body a few days to adjust to the switch. Don't give up if it doesn't work right away! :)

The first thing I noticed is it appears everything is full size. Which is always nice to see. I was very interested in those drops as much of what you read off is known for their natural medicinal benefits. That's something I would definitely consider using.Edit Hmmmm. At that price I may have to reconsider.🤔

Lots of people commenting about your body "detoxing" on natural deodorants and while that is something that is discussed out there and they aren't "wrong," per se, that information is wrong, but is shared and discussed fairly often by natural deodorant companies. Your body doesn't really detox. The number one thing that happens is that a lot of deodorant companies put baking soda in to help with the sweat/wet in your underarms (because most if not all natural deodorants don't stop you from sweating) and your body can have a sort of allergic reaction to it. Another thing that is also common is that your body starts sweating more, because natural deodorants are not antiperspirants, and the moisture can also cause a reaction. Lots of natural deodorant companies call these things happening "detox" periods, but, in fact, they're just your body having a fairly natural reaction to the stuff that is in their deodorants, not your body purging all the "bad stuff" that was in your old deodorant (it's basically just companies not wanting to admit their product might not work for everyone).
Which, by the way, it took me four different tries to find a natural deodorant that worked, and while the one you got sounds like a good candidate since it doesn't have baking soda in it, it may not work for you and if it doesn't and if you do still want to give natural deodorant a try, don't be afraid to try a different brand. Our bodies all react differently to different things and all these natural deodorants are formulated differently. I personally wound up using Crystal Deodorant and have been so floored by how well it works to manage body odor that I can't recommend it enough. If what you got in this box pans out, please consider giving it a try!

I've been on the natural deodorant train for a month and I love it. Aluminum is bad for you. It takes two weeks for the deodorant to work. Schmidts is really good, I have the rose and vanilla scent. I think every one should try natural, it's like I've said healthier.
