Hi guys! I hope you are all having a great day! Today I have two Macy's boxes for you guys! I was so so excited for a particular item in one of the boxes but it turned out to be a little different than I expected! Let me know what you guys think about these boxes! Love ya! 💖
They won't do anything...I called them about my real her lipstick... it came with a white film all over it... they were supposed to send me something... still waiting...I don't think the guy at the call center knew what i was talking about.
So I've seen Tati swatch the Stila Fairy Tail shade, and it was way better than that. I looked for comparison swatches on ULTA or Sephora, and they don't seem to have that shade anymore. I think you might have gotten an old limited edition, which is a questionable choice on Macy's part.
I have that same shade and I think the formula for that shade is just off. Mine is patchy too. It took some trial and error to find the right base to use under it (ended up being an old ColourPop Super Shock shadow that's a matte purple). If you got patience, it does work, it's just a little tricky. But I know not everyone has the time/patience for that.
I know your comment is several months old now, but I've only recently discovered her and I'm like on a total BINGE of video watching...I LOVE HER. And I feel like my MIL would have adored her, too, for some reason (I lost my MIL back in 2015; she was also a makeup and skincare junkie - although she would not have used that phraseology LOL. I miss having her to do our Sephora and Ulta runs.)

I love the Elemis marine cream! I received a full size in a subscription box, and I absolutely love it! The very first time I used Elemis was on a cruise a few years ago; and I fell in love with the products also! They are def expensive, but they are amazing 😉

Elemis products work so good and smell so good! They smell like I imagine a really expensive spa would smell. I say imagine, because I certainly have never been to a really expensive spa.
The cleansing balm they make blew me away. It’s like a thick oil that takes ALL makeup off and you can wipe it away with a little water. For someone with crazily oily skin I was super skeptical that it was going to leave an oily residue but I comes off completely clean and makes my son smell and feel great! Now it’s my favorite luxury skincare product! I LOVE it!
I worked as an optician for 11yrs and I’ve worked for optometrist’s as well as ophthalmologists. Optometrist’s are Drs of Optometry & Ophthalmologists are MEDICAL Drs that are the same as your ref Dr just that they specialize in the eye. IE: Disease, surgery etc. Kinda like the diff between a psychologist & psychiatrist.
An ophthalmologist is like a specialized eye doctor that deals with eye disorders and such. When an eye product is ophthalmologist approved it generally means it will work well for individuals with sensitive eyes. :) I love your videos! You're adorable!

I'm pretty positive I've seen that Stila shade at TJ Maxx for like, $8. So, I'm with you there, I would have had the exact same emotions if it were me!
Coming from a production background, sometimes the reason a sample box is so large is because they use an existing piece of machinery to form the box. It is much more cost prohibitive to install a new piece of carton forming equipment just to handle a different size of box. So they use the size of box they use for other products and have an additional tab folded in to hold a smaller item. No human hands are involved with the forming of hundreds of thousands of boxes.
I feel like it's the higher end the brand the bigger the box. I just got a 0.1 oz of la mer and it was safely nestled in a box that could hold 6 of the samples.
You make Sephora and Macy's unboxings fun. I don't think either is worth the money. The large boxes for tiny products is so unnecessary. Prefer Ipsy! You are a joy to watch! Great video!
Koh gen do wipes are by far my favorite. It removes all my makeup beautifully and I never break out because of it. Neck and decolletage creams are such a big industry. I'm surprised you haven't had anything for that area before. Better get started and protect. One of the more common age and sun spot areas.

I have the same shade of the Stila and in the middle of the video, I got up and swatched it... I think they gave you a bad one! It should be pigmented, a taupe-ish color with some pink and gold glitter! And I got mine from Marshalls!

I'm going to make a guess here that when you get tiny samples in big boxes it's because that's the same packaging they use for full size products. That way they don't have to do two runs of packaging design. Love your videos Alexandria.
Elemis is my #1 skincare line. I don't use anything else in this line of skincare. I do have some serums though and I love the line Good Molecules. I got the "all in one" that has 6 bottles of amazing skincare serums and oils. I adore it! I use Grande lash for nourishing my lashes and brows. It works like a charm! Love the video. If you want Elemis, QVC has sales (legitimate) on Elemis and do put together like "Savings packs" that are perfect! :) That Peter Thomas Roth exfoliant is amazing. I have that...got it in a BC one month.

Angel from Terry Mugler is my favorite and has been since middle school. Angel is very musky and I love cologne type scents over flowery girly scents. Alien is good too, it's not as musky, but definitely not a girly sweet scent. Angel is soo expensive, so I pretty much only get a huge set of everything for Christmas from my parents and TRY to make them last. I can make the lotion last longer than the shower gel or perfumes. Yes! another Xenon reference..also, I've mentioned this before, but doesn't the postmark show a date on it from when it was shipped? Couldn't you figure out which box is what month by that? I know in Reno where I live, they postmark the stamp with the date.

So the Koh Gen Do makeup remover is a very high end K-Beauty brand.. it is a great product I have been using it for about 6 months and I love it.. and yes the SK-II is super duper expensive as well.. the second box you got is a great box.. with the exception of that sketchy Stila glitter & glow lol.. this is the 1 subscription that I really want bit I'm in Canada and they don't ship here... 😢 I watch your unboxings of the Macy's box and get sooooo jealous lol
I wonder if they use packaging that large because their full size product fits in the same box. They’re probably saving money by using the packaging that they already have rather than producing separate packaging for their samples.
I love Thierry Mugler perfumes! Alien is awesome, but Angel is probably my all-time favorite. All his perfume bottle have a really unique design. Plus they aren't too floral, and the dominant fragrance notes will depend on your chemistry... so it could smell completely different on you and someone else.
Hey Alexandria, hope you & your family are doing fine. As for me I'm ok. Just wanted to say maybe the Stilla Glitter is not a real one. See if you can find that color online & see how it looks. Or maybe its expired. I don't mean to often anyone. I'm just saying it won't be the first time a Beauty box uses fake or expired makeup.
I liked these boxes (and price point) more so than the new one you did the other day BUT... once I ran out of those skin care products I know I would NEVER purchase the full size so really those products would be a tease to me. YES, you could definitely see the difference RE the Stila eyelid toppers or whatever they're called. You should really contact Macy's on that. Hell, you paid for it so why let them off the hook?! Grande mascara is honestly the best I've used. it doesn't irritate my eyes and works well with glasses. It is however expensive as hell though.

SK-II essence is amazing!! I included it into my (way too many steps) skincare routine and have noticed great results!

I usually shake my Still eye shimmer/glitters before using. Sometimes the creme part separates from the glittery part.
The Sonic near me used to make a BLT hot dog with Mayo, bacon, lettuce & tomato & it was amazing!🌭😍

Hey Alexandria, hope you & your family are doing fine. As for me I'm ok. Just wanted to say maybe the Stilla Glitter is not a real one. See if you can find that color online & see how it looks. Or maybe its expired. I don't mean to often anyone. I'm just saying it won't be the first time a Beauty box uses fake or expired makeup.
I liked these boxes (and price point) more so than the new one you did the other day BUT... once I ran out of those skin care products I know I would NEVER purchase the full size so really those products would be a tease to me. YES, you could definitely see the difference RE the Stila eyelid toppers or whatever they're called. You should really contact Macy's on that. Hell, you paid for it so why let them off the hook?! Lots of micellelar waters have detergent in them so they need to be rinsed off, the Garnier ones have them.
The best micellar water is Bioderma. Love it! So does Kathleen Lights!
Is the one you have a shimmer and glow or a glitter and glow? I heard the glitter ones are different and they arent as good
