It’s good seeing Johnny Kelly performing. I had no idea he was also drumming with QR. Always love seeing Rudy perform, his love of music apparent. It’s not the original QR, but they’re keeping the music alive and doing it well.
I saw them in Austin last April and man these guys really rocked it. Give them a chance, damn. It is sad Kevin, Randy, and Frankie are gone. It has the blessings of the DuBrow's and Banali's. One day soon this will all truly be gone, enjoy it while you can and able folks.
The amount of energy Rudy still has is just stunning! Turning 74 this year and not a sign of slowing down! Say what you want about the lineup but they are pretty tight and energetic bunch of seasoned musicians and Jizzy has no trouble at all singing those tunes. Not sounding like Kevin but it's actually just a good thing. His own natural voice fits in quite nice.
It’s a pathetic crying shame as to why COLUMBIA records couldn’t break love Hates wasted in America album which got a good budget and a damn good producer,I remember seeing them at the limelight in New York when they were working on the album and their guitarist had his nose broken in a fight at the SCRAP BAR on mc Dougal street, They still left something behind them that will be looked back on with satisfaction !!!!!!!
It’s too bad that love/hate wasted in America never generated enough sales to keep the band on the road to success in 1992 when Wasted in America came out, I hung out with them at their flat where they stayed doing the album with John Janson and played the LIMELIGHT in New York.
happens with our favorite rock and metal bands unfortunately...so much happens off stage and out of the spotlights with these bands during their downtime.
this is barely Quite Riot,Rudy is the only original member so sad that kevin and the drummer and Randy 🥁 passed away don’t know why Carlos doesn’t join them then you’d have 2/4ths of the 80’s lineup, this might as well be a tribute band
I couldn’t agree more. I’m from the thought that you can’t fault anybody for making a living. But I simply can not see the appeal of people saying they went to see Quiet Riot, Foreigner, Autograph, etc….i might even throw Vixen on that list too. Don’t get me wrong, all top notch musicians, and to each their own, but I don’t get it…..
The way I look at it is that it’s one notch above a tribute band as there are band members with connections to its history. So given the choice I’d rather see this than an actual tribute band. It’s not going to bring in new fans but is satisfies some of the diehard fans. Nothing wrong with that IMO.
The challenge in having to go on after founding members pass on is not having the same "touch" on the instruments. The drummer is a excellent player, but he can never have the same touch! Rather than compare,we should be thankful and honor the memory of the people who passed!
You are probably correct, this since Sarzo didn't write much or any of the QR music or lyrics. I guess by being the only member around from the most celebrated years of the band, he gets to carry the QR name by default. I wounder why Carlos Cavazo wouldn't want to carry the flag with Rudy.. That would be nice Carlos, Sarzo, Pearl
Love rudy. But for me quiet riot was Kevin Rudy Frankie and Carlos. I was at the 83 us fest. Not knocking rudy. He definitely has the right to keep quiet riot going. I just miss the rest of the original guys. Especially that crazy ass Kevin's voice and stage persona.
I really wonder about the business interests of bands today that live off past names like this, with only one non-founding-member of a band that went through various iterations, and still perform today. I’m glad Metal of the past is still strong, but boy, where’s the money going? Does DuBrows’s estate and Cavazo get anything for the carrying on of the band? I should ask Gene Simmons - bet he’s got it figured out.
Saw them twice. Once at The Forum when they opened for ZZ Top in 82 (loudest concert ever) and in 83 at the US Festival. Great band.
Jizzo thank you for giving it your all every performance.. QR sounding and looking outstanding. True live rock n roll show..
Really enjoying this video . Rudy like a 20 yr old in such a good shape , band great musician’s
Jizzy will always have a place on my heart. He and my dad were roommates back in the mid 80s in Downtown LA.
It’s good seeing Johnny Kelly performing. I had no idea he was also drumming with QR. Always love seeing Rudy perform, his love of music apparent. It’s not the original QR, but they’re keeping the music alive and doing it well.

So glad I saw the classic line up! Framed and signed picture on my wall.
Saw them when they opened for Iron Maiden Oct. '83 Baltimore Civic Center. Still have my ticket!
Rudy's been around and has earned the right to do whatever the hell he wants to do. He was there in the 70s so why not?
Its not about the “right”, its about WHY he would go down to playing county fairs, and gigs like they do now.
@@AnonymouslyAware627 You make tons of money playing county fairs and casinos.
@@budgiemcleod4443I make more money than Ill ever spend. Its all for my family but its wall street, real estate, and stocks. 😊😉

Jizzo is such a consumate professional. Dude always sounds great and doesn't say stupid shit on stage. Huge fan.
Hey,Andrew! Thanks for the uploads bud! Never mind the whiney haters...✌️
audio sucks nice spot though. need to be back and up higher for the best audio recording.
I think im gonna start a Quiet Riot band....why not??
They all have matching hair colour. Nice touch.

Kevin, Frankie 🙌 Rudy, rock on man
Saw these guys blow Sabbath off the stage in 1983-84. Sabbath was on their born again tour.
oh yeah 83 was totally their year
got to see Sabbath with Gillan? lucky you.
Is hard to see a band I loved with different members… but that’s time and life

Rudy Sarzo is an immortal GOD!
He is not GOD!
Looks like 20years younger
Kelli Garni is still alive and a founding member Bob
Rudy Sarzo is 73 and kicking major fucking ass.
No Kevin Dubrow, no Carlos Cavazo, no Frankie Banali.. this isn't even Quiet Riot as far as I'm concerned. Rudy is the only one left.
Rudy s not even an original member, so this is not Quiet Riot, it’s a tribute band
Quit y'all's whining! Just jealous you aren't on the Cruise...🤣✌️
@@Rickrockit6109 uhh....Rudy was in the original QR. Frankie and Carlos were not.
And yet the name of the band IS Quiet Riot like it or not. No one cares you don't accept it.
@@scottgul174 bla bla bla blow me
It's great that they now have a singer that doesn't dress like the Partridge Family bus.
Rudy kickin ASS!
awesome frontman ⚡⚡⚡⚡
they want 50 quid a ticket for london next month , dont think il bother

Totally. It's not even the same band, by a long shot.
Actually Rudy was the third or forth bass player for QR.Chuck Wright played on the Metal Health record.

Carlos is too difficult i think. That's the impression i get from others on him in the past decades....
Not really QR at all to me.
The challenge in having to go on after founding members pass on is not having the same "touch" on the instruments. The drummer is a excellent player, but he can never have the same touch! Rather than compare,we should be thankful and honor the memory of the people who passed!
Frankie Banali wasn't the original drummer either.
Call it the Rudy Sarzo Band.
You are probably correct, this since Sarzo didn't write much or any of the QR music or lyrics. I see Rudy Sarzo ... I don't see Quiet Riot 😝
Grass don’t grow on the head of Kevin Dubrow
De verdad que rudi sarzo no tiene otra cosa mejor que esto?no lo creo,😊
I'm sorry but this is crap. I miss Kevin Frankie and Carlos bring back Carlos then maybe?
Carlos should be in the band great guitarist

Sounds like MOTLEY CRUE playing QUIET RIOT songs..
and a little trying to be the LATE GREAT EDDIE VAN HALEN
Yeah Jizzy sucks.
Yepp I can smoke Jizzy singing QR songs!@@smck20

Jizzy Pearl still sounds amazing
To bad Kevin OD on Coke or he would still be there
Love Rudy, but this is hard to listen to. This guy couldnt roll Kevins cables.
Who?
Ok, maybe see about an audition? You got the pipes, right? 🎙️🤣
IS THAT JIZZY?! HE ALWAYS HAD GREAT METAL VOX!
That guitar player swallows
Bend to pitch dude
Kevin Dubrow still sounds great
As always
Certainly downsized from Frankie's kit.
Wtf?!
This seems like a waste of time
Why call it Quiet Riot when Rudy is the only one left? They should call it Rudy's Riot! No hate Rudy is the fucking man it's just weird!
It was Frankie Banali's dying wish, that's why
I love Rudy, but I'm very disappointed.
In what? Your opinion is worth the same.02 as the rest of us...
where do rock bands get their clothes?? they're ridiculous
SORRY. THIS IS NOT QUIET RIOT !!!
Rudy, Jesus... Just stop this.
Nope
Sorry. Call the band something else and play some of the great songs as tribute
Worst band of the 80s ok 90% of the bands from the hairbands sucked. This band had one soo called hit and that's trying to be nice.
from playing in front of 350,000 people at the US Festival from 1983 to playing on cruise ships in 2024
