I've seen many channels related to badminton. They only show right handers perspective except a few channels. You are one among the few who show both players perspective. Thanks 💙
The moment you said "either you lift short or it's out" I could relate with it so much😂. But great tip for improving backhand lift power. So close to 50K and that amazing giveaway.. Great going GRENNY (GREg & jeNNY)
We think a lot of people will relate to that 😂 Thank you so much Sahil - it's not the first time we've been called Granny (a lot of our friends do haha!!)
As a semi-pro player, I can still enjoy those as a refresher while revisiting my basic technique...especially coming back from a too long covid break. I think you should include the advanced tips in the same video, it would increase your ad revenue and exposure and be of use for players like me. I encourage you two to go deeper into the badminton technique and strategy, most if not almost all, the badminton channels I've seen so far are strictly targeting beginers.
Showing both right and left hand perspective is so helpful! I've been following this channel for a while and they are just posting nothing but great content. It really helped me to improve my game. Thank you 😊
Wow, my training this morning was hand fed shuttle for lifting drill. The pointer in the video will surely help me understanding behind the shots. Going to need to work more on my cross lifts as aiming the top corner consistently is hard. Looking forward to the advance tutorial for lifting
Big thanks guys! Another GREAT video! One of the most important parts of the game, often overlooked! Tks for the tip on the backhand grip, I'll pass it on!
When I saw the topic, I was like why is a seperate video required for lifts. You just have to hit the shuttle to the rear court. But when you said that your lifts are either short or outside that's when I realised " Absolutely Necessary "😂. A wonderful video Greg and Jenny
You are amazing with the tutorials. They have helped me a lot in my game for quite a few months. I would like to see a video on what is the best positioning in accordance with your partner in a doubles game.
New subscriber.. Finally a proper badminton channel that explains things very clearly! Thank you! Please can you continue with the advanced topics/techniques when you have a chance :)
Aloha Jen and Greg, getting back to basics. Nice to see the emphasis on this key often overlooked skill. Love the video, will focus on my lift accuracy this week in training. Thanks so much. Looking forward to the next lesson. Take care.
Thank you very much Dave! Unfortunately we've had to withdraw from Spain 😢 Greg is still not back up to full training yet, so it was too early for us to go and compete. Hopefully soon though!
Love all your tutorial contents. Big thanks!, Suggestion: Maybe in your next videos you can discuss different shuttlecock speed and what shuttlecock is suitable/best for practice/tournaments. Stay safe!
Great Video. I have a question, I think it was not mentioned, which part of the racket is an ideal spot to hit the shuttle while doing lifts? Thank you and looking forward to the advanced tutorial 😊
By this video I let to know that my foot movement was slightly wrong but now I can improve my foot work with the help of this video. 50k is almost achieved now next target will be for 100k good luck 🥳🥳🥳
What about lifting on backhand side with bevel grip? I find It way easier to play deceptive net-cross than with thumb grip, but yeah, its harder to lift with power with that.
another good tutorial. especially important was why to lift: 1) you're under too much pressure to effectively play another shot, 2) to move your opponent. for doubles play i would clarify that. in doubles the lift is a necessary shot when under pressure but it means handing the attack to your opponents, so in doubles i would look for net, front-mid court, and push opportunities before playing the lift-- anything to try to get the attack rather than hand the attack to my opponents. and of course you always want to try to force your opponents to lift. so in short i would say, in doubles DONT LIFT unless you have to it was a wise comment about practicing the simple things, or say, stay connected to the fundamentals. that would apply to anything you are trying to do
Thanks for suggesting a video on the jump smash! In case you missed it we actually released this last Sunday on our channel, you can find it here - ruclips.net/video/Seony5Owsb8/видео.html 😀 Hopefully it answers the questions you had and is useful, if not please let us know anything else you're unsure of!
Jenny the feeding you are doing with your racket is incredibly skilled,.. Most people, often even coaches, outside of national level, don't have that skill and would need the other person to lift it to them.. it'd be great if you did a tutorial on how to do that..
This is really helpful!!! Can you PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO OF defending smashes in doubles match??? Where to stand so that we are more prepared for a potential drop shot.
The breakdown of these tutorials is awesome from footwork to technique to grip etc! In the advanced lifting tutorial will you be covering how to adjust the height of the lift? I also have a doubles question, is there a specific reason why most females in mixed/doubles seem to build less muscle in their arms compared to female singles players, i would think that if muscle was an important part of the game they would include that in their training
Really helpful video Wish I could support you on patreon (but parents, 😥) Also a video on forehand smash and drops etc wud be helpful You guys are so close to 50k, so congrats in advance :)
Thanks for the excellent content you produce . May we get some practical scenario based advice on singles footwork? For example how to split step and cover for closer to net drops and deep clears?
I've seen many channels related to badminton. They only show right handers perspective except a few channels. You are one among the few who show both players perspective. Thanks 💙
Ahh that's amazing to hear, thank you so much 😄
Probably worth noting that they're both left-handed and most would complain without seeing the right-handed perspective XD. But great nonetheless
This is like the best badminton video i ever seen woah
Wow thank you!!
The best thing about Sunday is these uploads ❤️❤️

To be honest these tutorials are very well detailed. It is sad that we can't play though because of covid and lockdown. ;(
Thank you so much! :) Hopefully you can get back to playing soon!
Great video🔥, missing my coaching where we used to practice all this 😭🤷♂️

Thank you so much 😊
Hey Guys....right now due to Covid-19 we stop all games, sad.....just chilling at home
I am probably one of the few people that struggle with lifting with my forehand side and not my backhand lol
I think that’s probably more common than you think! This is also my (Jenny) weaker side 😅
