Thanks for more great content! From an amateur standpoint, these videos are great for those of us who want to play more and improve our consistency without having the resources like regular group training or coaching sessions. Knowing how the pros train is great but none of us are worth enough money to have 2 hitting partners to help us train, nor do we have hours and hours on court to do super specific feeding exercises. Right now I'm lucky to have a 2 hour court booking for 4 people every week and I've been using your videos to come up with nice half court training routines. Thanks!
Can't wait to show this videos to my group. We have a tendency to jump right into a doubles game. This'll mix it up, make it fun, and no one loses any court time. Perfect!
This brings back fond memories of squad training. There are many variations of half-court training and I found them a really useful coaching exercise to focus on particularly coaching points I wanted to reinforce with the players, as well as being very space efficient.
This is good stuff !! I need to do some of these for my game warm ups 😄 Thank you for all of the hard work you put into these videos and the badminton community!!
Great video. Thank you for being so informative and to the spot all the time. 10th and 11th version can be diagonal boxes which can enhance cross court slice smashes, drops, lifts and clears. 5:34 lovely part of this video one can hear Jenny giggling behind the camera as Greg lost the point 😀
Another awesome video. Can't wait to get in the court. Half court is great for learning. Better than full. Court is small, accuracy, technique, defence quick feet is very much in play. I improved my game a lot but still lot to learn..
Aloha Greg and Jen, thanks for the video. I am sharing it with my training partner and will suggest starting and ending our training sessions with two different games selecting ones that are most applicable to what we are practicing that day. They are an exciting inclusion that will spice up our routine. Take care.
Sometimes I make my students play the Zones game (#9) but instead of trying to reach 21 points, or down to 0 , I give them let's say 7 minutes to rack up the most points as possible and afterwards they have to do either push-ups or burpees or set-ups or whatever physical exercise to the amount of points won by their opponent
‘Zones’ or ‘eliminator’ as me and my friends call it has to be the best and most most way of playing if everyone is fully committed it’s always a great laugh
Great video guys, will look forward to using these drills/exercises when we are able to get our juniors back on court, its been over a year now and i dont think we will be back until September 😢
can i request a tutorial? my apologize if you dont quite understand my english, but if its possible, can give us tips or guide where to "put" or counter attack the shuttlecock in doubles. cause, i dont really know which direction my shuttle should go when the opponent is on attacking rotation. thank you so much
Yes definitely, and your English is good! Have you seen our advanced defence videos? Mainly we would recommend hitting to spaces on the court! We will do future videos on this kind of thing too so keep an eye out :)
@@BadmintonInsight thank you so much for the feedback. and yes, ive just watched part 1 n 2 advance defence recently, it is a good quality video indeed, really simple explanation so beginner like me could understand. i really hope your channel grow much bigger in the future.
We have just released a step-by-step tutorial on the smash after your request, here's the link - ruclips.net/video/H7kpZ9inc10/видео.html Hope you enjoy it and find it useful 😃
1. When we standing near service line how to cover backside in serve. Not found any video 2. Why you don't include how to cover short serve flick serve from same position. If u have plz provide link
The UK is still in a national lockdown, and we are very luckily exempt for elite athletes - that's why the courts are empty at the moment! Usually they are full 🏸

He couldn't let me get it back could he! 😂

hi badminton training
Helloooo!!!!
Hello 👋🏼
Hi guys Is TRME SPORTS legit because I need to order racket and shoes from India
Yep, they're awesome! 👍🏼 Would highly recommend!
@@BadmintonInsight okay 👍🏻
What to do when you like badminton but no court is available
Please teach me
You can’t block the opponent’s shot by putting your racket over the net interfering to the opponent’s half. That’s a fault.
Momota isnt doing that the easy way to he is taking them almost as low as he can the guy just loves to push himself
He is awesome!!
But I don’t even have access to half a court! No badminton since October due to pandemic 😐 driving me nut!
😭 Fingers crossed you can get a court soon!
I don't get it. You're moving everywhere.
U guys lost at England open ?
Unfortunately yes! 😢
Noice
Thank you! 🤗
If u play on synthetic or wooden floor court it always sound like this....
