What is Ecrew? When I had to uproot and move to Indiana, there was a car community called Bcrew (B for Bloomington, Indiana). These guys became my family. Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. It's not supposed to be some childish "Logang squad." It's a community where you get to take 10min out of your day and be involved in a build, but more importantly it's a family.

The lean code is from it running out of gas/fuel. It happens often when you run it empty.
Cobb protuner here, System Too Lean often is related to: induction system leak, exhaust leak, bad front O2 sensor, MAF sensor o-ring torn or missing, MAF sensor dirty or malfunctioning, or incorrect tuning for the MAF being used. Good luck!

Dude! She ran out of gas. That will throw a lean code. Everyone’s over thinking a simple situation.
Ben, true that, but I just solved a lean code yesterday with a fuel pump. Lean means too much air and not enough fuel, so if there is no air leak then it's a fuel delivery issue
I had the same problem with system too lean error especially when my car was low on gas. Mine was due to a clog fuel filter.

5:59 I do that everyday during winter months (heat on, windows down). I love hearing the sound of my exhaust; either on my G35 coupe and or my Supra.

IMPORTANT: As for the 'check engine' light. In Atlanta, you Cannot get a tag unless you Drop $525 on repairs if it doesn't go Off. Talked to some ole school mechanics and they told me to 'just buy a New gas cap'? It's worked twice in 4 years!! Light went off in 100 miles. Now i keep an Xtra $4.96 STANT gas cap around. Electronics in those Cali cars are Super sensitive, like my HS girlfriend was ; )

I'm not sure you improved the quality of the gas in your tank by taking it to Arco..but it's not as if you had much of an option either.
I was thinking the same as you on the lean code. Running bad gas, or running out entirely can stir sentiment at the bottom of the tank and foul injectors. Sometimes you can get lucky by running some cleaner through the fuel system and replacing the filter, but more times than not you'll have to replace one or more of the injectors. Good luck.

I keep a Harbor Freight code reader in my Forester to clear the codes when they pop up. Just cuz I can’t use cruise control when the engine light is on.

I feel you, my '02 Bugeye is cursed with misfire codes. I've changed EVERYTHING except the fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel lines, cams, valves, pistons, and head gaskets. I did a Gates Racing Timing belt kit (w/ water pump) and it went 1480 miles with no misfire codes, then it returned 2 days ago...I feel you on the curse lol.

Check out ADF Fabrication for a lift, or for a cheap lift put 03-07 Forester struts on it. I had a love hate relationship with my forester but in the end I sold it off.

When you disconnect the battery, the ECU has to relearn your driving too. My STi always is a little sluggish in the gas pedal when Ive disconnected the battery in the last 2-3 days.

P0171 will burn cylinder 4 exhaust valves if you have an intake you need to calibrate your maf. Clean your maf sensor and get tuned. 😉

I've had two fully built Subarus in my life never have a single head gasket issue...lol I really had no issues and I run a 74mm turbo

Windows down with the heat on is a Wisconsin thing. Not enough windows down time in the summer here so you gotta make it work the rest of the year too.
I can attest to that my silverados heater is a beast

Ok like the vid im a sucker for wagons too especially oddballs but not baggin but would'nt it stand to reason that while fixing the mechanical problems that cleaning the fuel system is one of the top to do's especially if you know its been sitting for that long im sure hes a good mech but hey even the good make a slip from time to time

You need to get a certificate from BAR stating that your exhaust is under 95db. Keep it with you at all times in your car. Then when they pull you over and State your exhaust is to loud, show them the certificate. This only works if your under the 95db limit..
Driving with windows down heat on is a must to hear that rumble.

If you're going to do rally car I would do a 22B rally inspired wagon with ghost them with a metallic gray paint and mixes some pearl with the gray metallic paint make your design and it gives it a ghosting effect

Could be fuel filters (in line or pick up) restricting flow enough to get lean maybe?
T'was my guess. Old fuel tends to create varnish in the tank and once you put fresh gas in, it breaks up and likes to clog stuff up. But it was only reporting one bank and I don't know subaru well enough to know the sensor layout.
And here we find the vaper in her natural habitat, low on gas and checking to see if no evos are around before she rips it 🤣🤣
