I first recognized this in Spirit Tracks, it may have happened earlier, but I specifically recall this being Link's theme in that, if you watch some of the cutscenes in Spirit Tracks, you'll hear the music switch to Zelda's Lullaby when Zelda is doing something, Byrne's theme when he's doing something, and then the main theme when Link is doing something.
@@harrythomas2657 this!! there are a few tracks in botw that have the theme woven into it and it feels so good when you find them. my favourite example is when link protects zelda from the yiga in that one cutscene! its only the first few notes but its still just as powerful. this theme and zeldas lullaby are by far my favourite to find inside of other tracks
@@muffin4926 yeah i think the botw track is the best of all zelda tbh bc all the music references just feel right, when he saves zelda from the yiga and the light piano notes hit, when zelda speaks to you after beating the calamity and zeldas lullaby jingles in the background. and finally the epilogue scene which i consider the best version of the original theme yet, it surprises me how people think none of the classic music made it in to botw

@@muffin4926 there’s one really gentle variation of it in BOTW called Zelda’s Wish. I forget when in plays in-game, but it I actually use it for my alarm clock now lol It starts out soft and ends with some louder piano notes, so I think it’s perfect for that!
Considering the armor has no effect on gameplay, because it doesn’t reduce damage taken, I don’t see why you would ever wear anything as Link. Just go massacre hoards of Bokoblins with nothing but your boxer briefs and the Master Sword.

So many people dislike the game for it’s controversial ending. But I’m 100% sure they smiled when they heard this theme. At that point they all turned into Super Saiyans and whooped Astors ass

I love this game I understand why they didnt like the ending because it was marketed like it was the same timeline as botw, but they pulled of the “what if” scenario so well and I love it.
Part of me wishes Age of Calamity eventually gets online, four-player multiplayer. Maybe this plays when matchmaking has completed, and it’s showing the four players for the level, and their four chosen characters for the game. Maybe then the main character of each player exits the main gate of Hyrule Castle in a stylish cinematic. It would be weird to see duplicates of a character, like three Impas, or even seeing Ganon emerge from Hyrule Castle, ready to trash some Bokoblins.
This song is the song that resembles the courageous hero's throughout hyrules history. This also is the theme of the triforce of courage and the hero wielding it.
I still remember the moment when I first heard this in age of calamity. I have this video in my watch later section and always come back to it every once in a while. It’s too good!
Using this leitmotif sparingly and at the right time is one of the best decision this game and BOTW have made for themselves. Some movies and games just spam their main themes so much they sort of lose value over time.
While at the same time I was sad when the music for the horse started playing, I was like "This track is horrible..." then they kick in the theme and you're like " Oh it's good" then you realize that part of the music comes along so rarely you're stuck with the awful part and you go "nmm" But next time I try to strap on the 'ole BOTW feedbag, I'll play this over the sad excuse for a horse riding music.
Nintendo did an amazing job with the music. Definitely a great step forward. If botw Link had continued with the traditional green tunic I would like him more

A little late, but the hardest post-game challenge mission in the game ( On very hard mode at-least In my opinion): The Siege of Fort Hateno has both parts of Link's theme in it. Part 1 plays during the duration of the challenge while not in combat with bosses, and part 2 only plays when you're fighting its final boss. (I think. The parts could be switched around, I haven't listened to them both in detail yet.)

I love this game for its story and not really its gameplay. So, i really love it. I like the story a lot. We get to see all the Champions live and it is a full happy ending rather than the sad but happy ending BotW gave. Cuz everyone ded
If Twilight Princess had a Hyrule Warriors sequel, I'd go with Twilight Princess havin' the Twilight Princess Master Sword in his left hand AND the Skyward Sword Hylian Shield (the one in Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild, AND Age of Calamity) on his right arm with the shield's handle in his right hand. Just like his Hylian Shield from the Twilight Era (carried on his right arm).
