Awesome review! I was able to get a Glare during the last drop. It has been the best top mount experience I've had to date in terms of sound, feel and design!
15:18 Your hex driver is 2.0mm or 5/64 inch in freedom units, you also have a 50mm shaft. Thanks for the review! Can't wait to build mine, it's been Glaring at me for many weeks now - I'll see myself out.
There's so many chamfers that the chamfers have chamfers. Kidding aside, great review. This makes me want to stop being lazy and actually build my Glare TKL. Also, count me in if there's ever a buy for a brass or stainless steel mid piece.
Not at all, this is a premium price, you just happen to get an extra premium product for that price. It's a good deal for sure, but 150-200 USD would be considered more entry level for a board
Love your vids ❤❤❤. I know my question is not related on this board but may be you can help me 🙏. I have Phoenix TKL(Solder) may be you know if there’s any hotswap pcb that is compatible to my board? Where i can possibly buy it? Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏. I been asking and looking all around and i did not get any response 😭.
if it uses standard spacing (87a) and a normal daughterboard (unified db) there may be a few options. Hop in the discord, and ask in the help channel, im certain someone would know
If you dont't want to swtich to a higher pitched (stiffer) plate, you can always go with more high pitched switches and caps (think polycarb housings like inks/zeals ans and dcs caps)

Geon & Glare to every other keyboard runner - do you even lift bro?!
"When you add more complexity, you add more risks."
This stays true in so many contexts wow
Redditor discovers how energy works
Simon is my keyboard friend.
I'm pretty sure the jst cable was longer for the in stock drop, it was alot easier to connect than i expected after watching your build stream
As someone who's feet/bumpons always fall off, i love the feet/bumpon review.
Make sure to pack this boy in hand luggage when flying

Wow, big fan of the lighting! Such a good board, especially at the price. Happy that Geon + Glare are part of the hobby. Thanks for the review

the simon reviews the glare, the densus enjoys!
Would this price point be considered an entry-level keyboard?

Better than the F1? Really?
If we ignore the F1 typing feel, yes
I'm just waiting for geon to shove an F1 mount in a glare body so I can leave the hobby already
🙏pressure fit feet. Adhesive out
little known fact, resell value skyrockets when Simon sweat is applied
Nice
Black simon is a good keyboard friend (always)

Hobby in a nutshell
@@Blacksimon I've gone from liking it to telling everyone to avoid it.
Did you rebuild with alu plate yet?
Nope, sadly been busy working on other builds. I'll swap it when I get a new brass midpiece

Simon I want to make my glare more high pitched. How do i make that happen? Like doing mods but what mods?

@@Blacksimon Is there any plate more stiff than a full alu plate ? that is avalible for the glare tkl
