I got a crazy idea for a video commander but 8 people lol I could just imagine the chaos that would happen all the " each player" cards would be insane.
For commander, clear boxes like the Clear Boulder are just good for both carrying around and displaying your commander at the shelf. Gamegenic has just released their own version. I don't know if you still make those, but the Ultimate Guard Clear 100+ is the perfect one, except for the fact that has no space for tokens. It's a shame. Maybe they should make a 120+
That 3d printed deck box looks to be EXACTLY the box I've been looking for! right now I'm using Clear 100+ boulders, but they don't play well with sealable sleeves and dragon shield outers. Just not enough room.

Boulders are my default option for commander deckboxes. Easily fits a double sleeved commander deck with KMC perfect fit and Dragon Shield Dual Matte no issues at all.
@@rainx381 it does fit a full doubled sleeved deck but if you have lots of foils then it will not. I only singled sleeve my basic lands or cheap cards for this reason.

Hey can you help me out? I'm trying to decided if I should get the stronghold 200 or XL variant. I just want a deckbox that can hold 50 card deck double sleeved + 10 triple sleeved + 1 minisnap case in one compartment. I also want the option to hold 100 commander double sleeved deck + 1 mini snap case for the commander. Do you think the regular 200 would be able to do this or should I spent $10 more for the XL variant? Thanks in advance!
To be honest, I prefer your review compare to the professor. Like you say, no one shake a box like that.. hahahaha. I hope you do more in the future!! And MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you ever SELL that SWEET custom deck box, do let us know!!!
Is the difference between watchtower 100+ regular and the xl big? cause i wanted to buy one for my regular double sleeved deck + tokens (not commander deck)
I store mine in an Ultimate Guard Flip'n'Tray 200+. The build quality of the DEX medium that's mentioned in the video is just terrible. And none of GameGenic's boxes will actually fit triple-sleeved cards (apart from the Bastion XL and the Academic XL that isn't out yet).
They can't - you'll bend the card slightly trying to squeeze it in. It's the same with the card holder in the Stronghold (both the regular and XL) - if they were just a couple of millimeters wider, they'd be perfect. The Bastion XL's will fit triple-sleeved cards, but you can't fit 100 triple-sleeved cards in a Bastion 100+ XL.
Wrong the boulders the clear you have fits a double sleeved deck all my decks are double sleeved in dragonshield smokes with either matte art or just plain color matte sleeves from dragonshield
So if you can't see inside, it is sh1t. I get it, you don't have to tell me every time. But I'm not rich and only have one playable deck, so I don't need to look inside.

I also use the UltimeGuard boulder with tray that i got back in 2018(mines the frosted black one and what I found strange was I've never had the peeling/sticky issue with mine)
Ultimate Guard has slightly altered the boulder from a few years ago. So i dont know if in a few years( that how long it took for mine to start peeling) it will start to peel like their original ones. Otherwise they are my go to deckbox for my commander decks
I have one from ultimate guard. But I cant fit in 100 Double sleeved cards with dragonshoeld. I prefer gamegenic. Much more flexibel and good quality.
Will double sleeved standard sized cards with outer sleeves fit into the gamegenic stronghold?
I need a box for a double-sleeved EDH deck and I need it to fit at least 4 toploaders (so commander +3 extra). do you have a particular link of a model you'd recommend?
You know what i love about these videos. its really emphasizes how different everyone is. i disagree with so much of his opinions. For example i hate the 3d printed deck box. i think its ugly. But others love it! and i think that fact is great. In this way we all end up getting something different and add verity and diversity into the world. :D hope lots of people get one.
I use the new Boulder 133+for all my edhdecks
Oh damn I didn’t even know those existed!
But have you heard of Manamoon's Dicewinder? Best feck boxes on the market.
Just wait till you find the "Venssu MTG Deck Box for Commander Display"
Hey can you help me out? I'm trying to decided if I should get the stronghold 200 or XL variant. I just want a deckbox that can hold 50 card deck double sleeved + 10 triple sleeved + 1 minisnap case in one compartment. I also want the option to hold 100 commander double sleeved deck + 1 mini snap case for the commander. Do you think the regular 200 would be able to do this or should I spent $10 more for the XL variant? Thanks in advance!
can a triple sleeved deck fit in the gamegenic stronghold ?
boulders ftw!!! I friggin love love love my boulders
To be honest, I prefer your review compare to the professor. Like you say, no one shake a box like that.. hahahaha. I hope you do more in the future!! And MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you ever SELL that SWEET custom deck box, do let us know!!!
Haha yeah thanks! Hopefully one day when I decide it’s good enough to sell 👍
Is the difference between watchtower 100+ regular and the xl big? cause i wanted to buy one for my regular double sleeved deck + tokens (not commander deck)
I have a 100 card triple sleeved commander deck, what’s the best box I can find to hold them?
I store mine in an Ultimate Guard Flip'n'Tray 200+. The build quality of the DEX medium that's mentioned in the video is just terrible. And none of GameGenic's boxes will actually fit triple-sleeved cards (apart from the Bastion XL and the Academic XL that isn't out yet).
What bag is that in 0:26 that fit 3 boulders? It's exactly what i need rn lol
"The mtg quiver"
Will the quintessential mtg deck box restock soon?
Yes
What are your two cedh decks that you use
Urza and Armix/Kraum
How'd you feel about ultimate guard xenoskin boxes?
Not a fan of the covers flapping about when they’re open
I like the last one. I need a 3D printer
does anyone know if the sidekick or squire can fit triple sleeved cards with dragon shield outers?
They can't - you'll bend the card slightly trying to squeeze it in. It's the same with the card holder in the Stronghold (both the regular and XL) - if they were just a couple of millimeters wider, they'd be perfect. The Bastion XL's will fit triple-sleeved cards, but you can't fit 100 triple-sleeved cards in a Bastion 100+ XL.
Wrong the boulders the clear you have fits a double sleeved deck all my decks are double sleeved in dragonshield smokes with either matte art or just plain color matte sleeves from dragonshield
best deck box??
ultra pro ice tower 😈💙
just tell me what to buy!!
I love me some accessories.
Gamegenic is the best
So if you can't see inside, it is sh1t. I get it, you don't have to tell me every time. But I'm not rich and only have one playable deck, so I don't need to look inside.
