I love your channel and story! Clean, clear, and you know what you're doing. Enough talk to understand what's going on, and the music fits. It's great to watch a historic build being brought back to life. Thanks!
Thanks! I’ve decided that making videos is like learning another trade. I greatly appreciate the feedback and am glad to hear that I’m doing okay with my narrative!
I gotta tell you, I am autistic and get overstimulated often. I use RUclips videos about construction (They're just my favorite thing to focus on) to help me calm down. I usually hate voice overs, but you do such a good job that I absolutely love it. It may not mean much, but your content helps a random stranger online go about her day easier. So thank you.
I’m really happy to hear that, and it does mean a lot. I’m enjoying making project videos and sharing them, and to hear that people are enjoying them and that they’re even helpful in some situations, is the icing on the cake! Thanks🙏
I happen to see your channel while traveling and I’m glad you’re back working on the house. Like you, I’m very fascinated with loghomes. I will be following your progress.
I agree, I should have explained why I was covering it. It’s shrunk over the years and has gaps everywhere. When I first demoed it there was bats living in the walls because of the gaps. I’ll do something cool that looks period. Thanks for the input, and watching!
That’s cool what are you doing? By the way your dog is very funny. He thinks he’s a bad ass like my parents dogs like they are thank you I love them way that you’re doing that’s kind of cool I’m living a lot. Thanks.
I kept it it’s original width, but had to raise the bottom up for kitchen cabinets. It is above the kitchen sink, and it’s 30”x36” which is a little smaller than usual, but I think it will be fine where it’s at👍
I would have kept the interior stone wall in keeping with your original cabin. Instead, I would have framed the exterior wall and then insulated there. The outside of the wall looks like shite anyway, so why waste a wonderful original look? I am sure it is too late, but I would reconsider. Excellent find though.
It looks nice on the video, but it’s actually old adobe (mud bricks) that they put in the wall between the studs for insulation, and it’s not really that stable. If it were solid old masonry, I definitely would have figured out how to keep it exposed. Thanks for your input, and thanks for watching!
Ver Nice! Once again, love the reuse of old material!
👍
You make it look so easy.
Thanks 🙏 I really enjoying this project

The lap siding looks really good. Fits with the age of the cabin. I'd keep it.

It is coming along.

Which Utah town are you working from?
Mt. Pleasant
@@piecebypeace69 thought it was the Manti area, recognized the mountains, then the deer.
Yes, Mount Pleasant which is only about 20 miles North of Manti 👍
O !! That window became very small! Why?
