    Inov8 are great yet a little light weight. The TYR L-1 Lifters are by far the best squatting shoes for comfort, strong structured sole for durability an support!!! Can’t beat them.
    For deadlifts I use a NIKE imitation Chuck Taylor and I just got a No Bull High-Top Outwork shoe. They are on sale now. Got to get them now before they go!

    0:28 I think my wife has mentioned something along those lines too. At least I think she was talking about deadlift.

    What did you use for the Yoke+Log event at the Rogue Invitational?
    Seems like you‘d want separate shoes for Yoke and Log!

    Please someone help. I love deadlifting just in socks, but yesterday I hit 405x1 conventional and only in socks. Today I woke up with a morton's neuroma. What do I do to avoid it?

    Bearfoot shoes are my favorite, I have like 5-6 pairs. I also have a few pairs of Xero shoes cross training type .. Never enjoyed weightlifting shoes.

    i use only bearfoot ursus or more recently sabo heavy duty's but I powerlift so that makes sense. before i lifted in converse. lifters don't help me much in squatting, I have plenty of dorsiflexion as is, they loaded my hips more which isn't my strongsuit, back to squatting in flats and growing massive quads

    I use Adidas Lifting Shoes for the stuff you described !
    BUT for deadlifts i use MMA fighter shoes, i took the inner sole out = 3mm total sole thickness i sacrifice, but it keeps my feet warm and calf`s too.

    Bit late to the party. As a novice with bad knees; Socks for deadlifts and squats. Nordic lifting shoes for overhead.

    What is the American saying "If the shoe fits, you must wear it"?

    Mitchell, in 2018 I snapped a bunch of ligaments in my ankle (Calcaneofibular, one Posterior, Anterior) and since recovery I only wear Salomon Speedcross 5's for lifting and CrossFit due to their 10 degree drop and amazing stability. They're not ideal. What other brands should I look at given the weakness of the ankle?

    Jordan mid air 1 are best for me to squat and for running disciplines. For truck pull boulder shoes very tight. For overhead i used always Reebok weightlifting shoes, but i will buy tyr shoes to

      Pavlo pulled 450 in training. Mitch isn’t as good without a suit unfortunately.

    Do almost all of my lifting in flip flops or barefoot shoes. Specifically Merrell Vapor Gloves. I like as little shoe as possible. When its time for heavy strongman events with movement I prefer classic high top Nobulls. Solid base and good ankle support under a lot of shifting force.

    • @kteagle3
      @kteagle3 Год назад

      I wore Vapor Gloves for a few years until I found Xero barefoot shoes. I found the VGs to be too narrow for my toes to naturally splay. I currently use Xero 360s for lifting and enjoy the much wider toe box. Xero now has a shoe for every occasion.
