Caesar is one my favorite characters ever
As you watch his journey through the movies you will notice that he has more humanity than most humans.
the love I have for caesar is so huge .

I found out about these movies from a friend about 4 years ago, I saw them expecting nothing and I was surprised at how incredible they were.
But it was more surprising to realize how underrated they are.
Yeah, we heard it was good. But, we were not expecting to enjoy it as much as we did, and be as excited as we are for the rest of the series!
Also, keep in mind that Caesar is the only ape that has both serums. That's why he can speak and always be smarter than all the others. Also, he's taller because he's the only one who walks on 2 feet all the time.
Great point! Yeah, by the end Jess was guessing that he seemed taller since he stood up straighter.
Plus Caesar is only ape to have a proper human education from Will & Tv.
I remember when I saw this in theatres, when Caesar said “NO” the theatre erupted

This is an amazing trilogy, Caesar💚 is the best!!! ...love him to bits, hes a way better leader then most human leaders today. Hope u react to the other two.Caesar only bit the finger, it was still attached so that mean neighbour was lucky.
Notice after all hes been through, Caesar has no first instinct or intention to kill humans or hurt people, just to free his apes. He never even killed the nasty Draco, he killed himself out of stupidity. Also the apes didnt kill any innocents, they just trashed a few offices and scared people tbf. You can see how heartbroken Caesar was to reject his human dad after he turned his back, its clear how hard it was for him & he continued using his window as his symbol on street signs afte r escaping. I always root for the apes, animals are true to their nature, & we betray ours.
Also, Caesar can be infected again, so he also get even smarter when inhaling the 1.13 virus too, plus Caesar is way more intelligent since he had a proper human childhood education from Will.
Nice Simpsons reference just before Caesar spoke😃 One of my favorite pop culture parody scenes of that show. 🎶 I hate every ape I see from chimpan-A to chimpanzee. You will never make a monkey out of meeee! Oh my gosh! I was wrong, it was Earth all along. You’ve finally made a monkey.”LOL

Giving this movie a 3/5 is insane, easily a 5 for me, the concept, acting, CGI and especially the emotions they were able to bring out was crazy good. The next two are even better and still in the fence on the fourth from the trailer, but we’ll see how it pans out.
Jess was a little on the fence between 3 or 4... Looking back at it, maybe 4 was the correct choice...

so well done ..not a single movie that is bad or disappoint,of course you will always like one more than the other we all have preference ,my fav is the second one , but none of the three are disappoints 👌

Glad you enjoyed "Rise". The next three films are masterpieces. The current one "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" is in theaters now. As soon as you watch "Dawn" & "War", see "Kingdom." It is just as excellent & you need to see it on the biggest screen possible.
Super excited to see the rest. Won't be able to react to the latest one if we watch it in theaters though...
Chimps are amazing, but I’m scared of them lol. If I’m not mistaken, when they reach their teenage years, they can become very rebellious and attack people.

@@JessAndTess: 😉 So you have not seen Star Wars (1977), Terminator 2 (1991), Lord of the Rings (2001), etc.? Who do you think invented CGI? Those guys!
Normally, I avoid anything 'Remake' (At least, over these past what, 5-10 years esp.), like the plague. THESE movies however? Holy, Hell!!! I absolutely adore how they use modern CGI/Special Effects to ACCENTUATE the story, instead of BEING the story (Star Whores, VII-IX, I'm staring right AT you!).
Also, we're already seeing it, and I hate to say- It's going to become much, much worse, but Man's idealization of playing 'God' with all things technological are bad enough. Actually manipulating the genetic structures of living organisms (Which is WAY past what's done with 'Selective Breeding' of them. Ref. what we've done to the Wolf (Chihuahuas and other Bug-Eyed punt dogs, you have my sincere apologies), for starters, should be sending chills up-and-down people's spines.
Man does not have the wisdom, much less the ability to stuff the genii's we're building back inside their various bottles, and I fear we are indeed going to create something that re-writes this planets' ecosystem/structure, and 'Mankind' will suffer for it.
Still, damned good movie, *EXCELLENT* 'Reaction,' and I look forward to watching you two see the next!
