ISLE ACADEMY made significant strides in advancing medical education with the second edition of its "Introduction to Basic Principles of Robotic Surgery" workshop, held at the University of Pécs Medical School in Hungary, from April 22nd to 26th, 2024. This immersive workshop, organized in collaboration with Pécs University Medical School and supported by SofMedica Hungary, welcomed high school students and undergraduates from diverse cultural backgrounds. Participants were introduced to the intricacies of robotic surgery using the state-of-the-art Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, providing them with a hands-on experience that bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
