- This is a short CarPorn about my own Car (Alfa Romeo 159 2.4 20V-TurboDiesel 200HP).
One day after making this Video i sold the Car :-(
This video is the only thing i made of my Car to keep it unforgetabtle.

Stefano Bighiani in England it's a estate. I think in the US its a station wagon. We also that here but most people would say estate ☺

Had a 159 sw 1.9 jtdm maped to 170hp for 6 years never had a break down and drow it like i stole it but 2 months ago it broke down for good and i am going to buy another 159 but this time 2.4 maped to 250hp if it dies it dies 😁

Great way to remember & nice vid! I miss my red 2.4Jdtm Lusso, so much personality in these cars. No diesel I have heard since sounds as good, it's unlike anything else on the road.

Мотор бомба.У моей бывшей на 166 стояла 180 сильный дизель .Тянул как тепловоз.
I have a 159 2.4 jtd automatic, white colour and sports interiors, leather beige the seats, now a lot scratched but it is ok to me. 11 years old. The first 368.000 with "0" problems. After the motor broke! I found an used motor with 110.000 km so I decided to sobstitute it. After 2.000 km automatic gear broke! I decided to repair it. Now new white painting with "rosso alfa on the top and cofano". I love too much to drive this car: amazing stearing, balance, handling. Perfect drive position... I don't want to sobstitute it. Hope to do 200.000 km more. My second car is a Maserati Granturismo Sport 4.7, 460 hp, but the Alfa is not second to such Maserati as pleasure to drive! 159 is really a fantastic car, and it has a timeless design!
Io ho avuto una 159 JTDm 16v berlina dal 2012 al 2015, poi ho preso un Brera 2.4 e sono tornato mio malgrado alla 159, stavolta una SW, col motore della prima. Che dire? Macchina bella, molto bella, ma bella e basta. Fatta bene proprio no. Su tutte e 3 ho trovato gli stessi difetti.
@@Magirus370 con la mia jtd station wagon 2.4 ho fatto 370.000 km. Tagliandi regolari ma assolutamente mai risparmiata, della serie 370.000 fatti da me valgono 500.000! Qualche piccolo problema certo, a 370.000 spacco motore e cambio. Sostituito motore e rifatto il cambio (oltre a cio' che serviva) adesso e' pronta per altri "x" chilometri. Difetti? Forse si: tutte le auto hanno difetti. Tutto sommato un'auto ancora attuale e con un piacere di guida impareggiabile. Saluti (ps: anche la Maserati Gransport 4.7 ha difetti: chi se ne frega? BMW, Mercedes, ecc d'alta gamma le trovo oscene da guidare e, quanto a difetti, a partire dal (dis)piacere alla guida, non le batte nessuna! E parlo per aver assistito in 3 anni ad un'odissea di mio fratello con: BMW 640 D XDRIVE M (tavola da surf anonima), sostituita dopo due mesi con una 740 D XDRIVE M (un disastro: in 2 anni ha fatto un anno dal meccanico per sostituzione di ripartitore di coppia, sospensioni, centraline varie, problemi con la sedelria ecc.). Ora con una nuova BMW 750 D XDrive pare meglio: ma sempre oscena da guidare! Grande vita al "made in Italia", finche' durera'. Saluti
Remo Crosato io a quei chilometraggi penso non arriverò mai, la mia attuale ha circa 160.000 km e va ancora bene, anche se ha il turbo che sibila, gli interni non perfetti e sospensioni un po’ rumorose. Penso che un’Audi di pari chilometri risentirebbe meno. Ad ogni modo macchina molto bella.

I switched to a Fiat Grande Punto T-Jet (1.4 Turbo / 120HP). Later i will do also a video of it :-)

@@miloyadda8178 honnêtement c des fiable c de la bonne matos juste faut faire l'entretien a temps la mienne à 230000km roule trop bien aucun défaut et pour acheté faut regarder les choses importants la boîte de vitesses et les clapet d'admission d'air (moi je les ai supprimé les clapet) voilà

I had one of these (a saloon/sedan) from new, one of the least refined and unreliable cars I've owned unfortunately, backed up by one of the worst dealer networks imaginable. Lovely to look at, a pain to own.

Io ho avuto una 2.4 jtdm 200cv.... Fantastica, poi ho avuto una 159 3.2 v6 266cv e poi una da 360cv...... Dopo la 360cv ho avuto un cayenne 4.2 v8 diesel 381cv e ora mi sono perso una 159 IDENTICA alla tua però dentro ha lo schermo..... È una 2.4 jtdm 209cv beh è che dire.... Il cayenne non lo rimpiango affatto... Aaanzi

That is not problem in this car. This R5 2.4l diesel engine is maybe the best choice of engine. So much character, power and torque. And it is reliable, too. Sound is not that bad as you may expect from diesel. This one and 1.75 TBi are the best engines that 159 could have. They're not like the JTS Opel engines.
Plaxitril...plus those 2.4 engines are tweakable af.🍀🇮🇹🙏🏾
