That clay is a great medium for holding and showing the wound cavity potential. I would not have thought that the 17 WSM could deliver that much displacement at 200 yards. Excellent compare and contrast video !

I shoot the 53 GR V MAX in my 22-250 at 3800 FPS.

Great stuff. I thought the 17wsm would be capable of better speed, but there it is on screen.
Last time I reloaded 45s for my 250 they pretty much fuzzed my (Caldwell) chrony, the only speed I got was a tad over 4400fps, dirtied my pants and didn't reload any more, 🤣🤣.
The 17 certainly showed its colours, nice cavity at 200, but I'll stick with the 250, 😉.
Thanks for posting my friend, very informative.
    👏👏👏 👋👋👋

Thanks for taking the time to write. Good to hear from you again... It would be interesting to see how a 17 rem fireball 25 grn hp loaded to 3850 fps would do... (Maybe that would perfectly split the difference.)

Bring it on, 🤣🤣. Will be good to watch.
I made a big oops. It was the 40-gn Amax I used, not 45gn.

No worries... the challenge is finding a good cz 527 varmint in 17 rem fireball. If I can find one, will put the ATN scope on it for the scope cam views as well.

I like the information what you do with your videos. Do you check out the lead free varmint ammo with the 223 already? I always take time to found information about nosler btlf 40gr, hornady ntx 35gr and so (lead free varmint) stuff... But heavy to find some information about how the bullet work at 100 and 200 yards

Sounds like your talking about a 22 magnum

Good video. Excellent 200 yard shooting. I was a bit surprised that the .22-250 did not make it thru the clay, but it sure made a big hole! Thanks for sharing and take care.

Glad to see you back in the saddle. An unusual and interesting comparison between two of my favorite calibers. Who am I kidding, all calibers are my favorite when in hand. LOL
Always good to see your insightful presentations. Thank you once again.

@@outdooradventures1696 Why would I give up, you've been very prolific of late. Sometimes you need a break or often times life just gets in the way. All of this takes time and resources. Do what you can, when you can, it is always very much appreciated and looked forward to. I consider it a gift. Thanks for your time and effort!
