My wife and I are travelling to Grenada in late Sept this year, for 10 days. We're from Vancouver Island. We are excited!

How was it
@@madmoudfouad5608 we had a great time. We stayed at Casa Calypso - a basement suite near the Harbour. Living with the locals, or as they say, "Limin'" with the locals, was the best part. We explored so much of the island because we had to walk, take the "buses" and navigate the stores, downtown, and beach restaurants. Was very relaxed and felt really safe. They have a really good brewery there too. Our landlords were really nice and accommodating. We even went out with them a couple times!
And the weather in late sept and early Oct the most humidity I've ever felt. We had about 8 days of pure sun, a couple days of cloud, and had 2 storms roll through at night. One awesome lightning show while we were at the brewery, which is open air. Awesome experience.

Spent our holidays on the fantastic island of Grenada 18 times now over the years, the island is also ideally situated for access to many other island either by boat or small aircraft from the main airport.
Tobago quays is one of the most spectacular destination which we have done on several occasion usually on the Scaramouch, swimming way out on the reef and with the turtles in the reserve, amazing experience, each time our stay was with the Sherman’s who owned the Coyaba Beach Resort on Grand Anse Beach

The only place i can really chill out.
Reason #9: I deployed to Grenada in 1983 with the 82nd Airborne division and went back once as a civilian in 97. So much has changed, and for the better. We have reunions there from time to time. The next one will be the 40th and I will definitely be there. Can't wait! FURY FROM THE SKY
