My family still owns a home and property in New Westerhall we bought back in 1967. They ate iguana back then. Tastes like chicken.

I love to see historical footage of Grenada...I've been there several times to visit my family & in-laws and we can't wait to go back.

Has an oddly nostalgic feel even though I wasn't born yet.

This is a classic and should be save . It's important for us to have these recordings for generations.

That’s so lovely is the hotel where they stayed still there. That lovely lady must have passed away who worked at hotel. My lovely mum would have been around 15-16 years old from Caracou

Aw my grandparents would have still been there then❤️ they moved to UK along with my uncles in the 60s and had 3 more boys. One uncle moved back and still have other great uncles and aunties and cousins living there. It’s been 20 years since I visited beautiful Grenada😔, but we keep in touch with the internet🇬🇩🇬🇩

Aweee you should definitely visit. What you see on camera doesn't do justice to what's really there in person🇬🇩

@@empressrosie7065 I’m hoping to visit soon. And hopefully make a more regular habit than 20 years. I was a teenager last time. X
