Caribbean Moments shows a different side to the Caribbean. Everyone visualises sand, sunshine and palm trees - but hardly anyone really discovers what lies behind them. In fact an unbelievable variety of cultures, music and religions has developed as a result of the different influences - African, Indian, English, French and authentically Caribbean. In this episode we visit the island Grenada.

I loved the miniature history lesson, but it was rather unfortunate that the narrator kept mispronouncing the the Island. It's pronounced Gree- nay-dah not Gre-Nah-dah

If you are going to make a video about GRENADA - perhaps you should first learn how to pronounce it properly. It's easy Gre-NAY-Da. Try it.

In the 1800s it was described by sailors that they could smell [the spices of] Grenada before they actually saw the island.

Lovely visuals, many great nuggets of history BUT I cannot share a video that so blatently ignores a basic concept of getting the name right. Gre- NAY-da. It's painful to Grenadians to hear it so mispronounced.
