This is the first video I see of you and I really liked it. I subscribed. I like your honesty and objectivity. I am going to look at your work. I do photography as a hobby only as I dread having to pictures I do not like just for money. I am comfortable with my current job but it does not leave me much time or energy to spend on my favorite hobby. However, I am planning to retire in less than two years and then I can spend all my time, focus and energy on my hobby. I have enough money to buy all the gear I want but not enough time to use it. I have taken numerous trainings so i think I just need a bit of practice. You have motivated me again to pursue my dream. Thank you. 🙏🏽 I know you will get there so don‘t let anybody deter you from your dream.
Gefen, I just found your RUclips page. Yes I hit the LIKE button and I also SUBSCRIBED to your channel. I am 62 years old and I am planning on retiring for my job in about 3-5 years. Right now I take photos more of a hobby, but really not nearly enough time. Love this video and it has given me some things to think about. Your English is great and I truly look forward to seeing more of your videos. I wish you all the best.
Great video, and I think your English is excellent! I envy your choices to do what you've been doing at a young age. I've been involved with photography for around 37 years now, and have worked in the field. In fact my first paid job was around 1987 or 88 when I shot a piece for a magazine. But I didn't stick with it as a career. In hindsight I wish I had as I think it would have been more fulfilling than the career I ended up in. These days I am a part-time working photographer and my business is something of a social enterprise. I take the paid jobs that I want (and I am selective about what I'll take), and that allows me to continue the photography I do for several charities. I find this rewarding, and if I were younger I'd probably make it into more of a full-time situation. Best of luck to you, and I'll check out your future videos. Cheers.
I've been following you for a while now-great channel with great content. I love the open and honest stories you share about your journey! And your English is very good! It's about connecting and telling your story; language is just a tool. It's about your energy rather than your language!
I’m a full time musician and RUclipsr who knows just enough photography to keep the channel :). I was moved and inspired by your video and wish you the best.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked the channel. I'm play a little bit of guitar (really bad but it's only for fun and myself ) so I'm happy to find your channel too 😄 Appreciate the comment & subscribed :)
Great that you are still trying to make a go at being.a photographer. Its always tuff to get started and often we have to do the type of photography that pays the bills and then enjoy shooting personal projects. I think very few photographers can do exactly what they want. In my case I shot weddings and portrait for the money and music concerts for fun. Keep at it and you never know you may discover a good niche that you enjoy.
Thank you for that comment my friend! I I believe that shooting wedding and events is a such beautiful niche and it has a huge responsibility required. Thank you for sharing here, it's really means a lot to me 🙏🏻
Honestly I would love to make a living as a photographer. I did few projects but never consisted with it. People say that I am over editing, some say that is soooo awesome and great images. I just seem to lack self confidence. I seem to be scared to charge people as I do not know where my skill level actually is. Another thing that I struggle with is that I am really good at photo editing and also trying to find angles. But then I am really terrible at asking people to pose for me. I would like to do some portraits sessions in London. But I do not know how to go about it. How to practice asking people for poses. How to be interactive with people. I think I am sociable. But I am also akward socially as English isn't my first language either. But nor I am able to communicate in my own language well as I lived in three different countries and I am all over the place. I really appreciated your video and was something fresh and new. Thank you for the input and it really did make me feel motivated and encouraged to keep persisting. I subscrited and I cannot wait to see your channel grow. You have an interesting vibe. All the best :)
Your comment really touched me.. I can really relate to what you described, I felt this way before and I'm so glad you shared it here with me. I believe that first, it's important to be forgiving with yourself and know that it's not something that changes over night. It takes time and small steps to overcome it and feel more comfortable taking strangers portraits. I talked about it a little bit on my previous videos but I'm definitely going to continue opening this subject on the channel. Thank you so much for this comment, it's truly meant a lot to me hearing those thoughts.
I'm glad you found it valuable.. I can relate to your struggle very much. Thank you so much for this comment and I hope you'll find the best way for you 🙏🏻
J’espère que tu vas réussir car tu as énormément de talent … la photo de rue est difficile et demande beaucoup de créativité , je suis fan de ta photographie ❤
Great vid. Good luck with your aspirations on here. Your interiors work looked very good and quite unique.. kind of documentary in style. The Canons are good but heavy (I use the 5D4). Do you think you could have shot your interiors work with the Leica?
Thank you so much for this comment! That's a question that I thought about too, I think that the 28mm of the Q3 is not wide enough for this kind of photography. If I hade a Leica with a 16mm focal length minimum and Leicas flash (super expensive all together) so maybe it will be possible. It's just too expensive for this niche in my opinion, although the results could be amazing 😊
@@iGefen yeah, unless you ‘stitch’ of course. I’m just looking to reduce my kit size and lenses etc but although the Q3 covers a lot of bases I think I would struggle to do my job with it.
Hi :) I have some examples of the cropping capabilities on my last videos, but it's a great idea to do a separate video on this topic, I think I'll make one soon. Thank you!

Hi, can you make a video on the cin camera cropping features of the Leica Q3?

Hii gefen,
Nice video..
May u tell me which mic and video editing app you used to make this video
Hi :)
Thank you!
I use the DJI mic (that comes with the Osmo Pocket3 ) and I use Premier Adobe for the video editing.
@@iGefen thanks for your reply may u tell me which camera you used
@@vlogwithjatin1577 for the video? The osmo pocket 3 of DJI :)
