BUT there is something very new about this Motorhome! What is new is that it is now built on the Chevy 6500 Chassis! This is the one . 6500 Chevy Silverado 4x4. Just needs a pantry.
I like this model. It's the perfect size for my family. The full-body paint is fantastic. I like the look of the Chevy chassis. I agree with Matt about wanting a power cord reel, and I would combo that with the placement of the inverter. It should be mounted on the side and out of the way. I really like the inside. I don't think the cab was ever designed for RV use, thus why it isn't easy to access. I do wish the Rebel 30R had day and nightshades. The kitchen is nice. I prefer a single bowl sink instead of the double one. I also would have liked them to carry the splash guard down the entire length of the counter. I always liked having an actual oven and a convection microwave, so if I could option that, I would. Overall, this is a nice RV. Good job, Nexus. Thanks, guys, for another great video.

Replace the uncomfortable dinette with 2 chairs and a pullout office/dining table and the cheap jackknife sofa with some quality theater seats and you would have a winner👍

Love our 2021 Rebel 30r.
I like the new cabinet color, but we wouldn't want to lose the drawers under the dinette and I prefer the big dinette window. Minor stuff. The Rebel has been the perfect couples coach for us. BTW, the Duramax has all kinds of power, but is really quiet compared to Ford or Cummins.

I mean... the Chevy 5500 and the International chasis are rebadges of each other with a different infotament console and thats basically it... and they both have the DEF on the wrong side and that is a MASSIVE pet peeve of mine

Like the floor plan it reminds me of my old Itasca 29. Only need two things. Day/night shades and grey or light colored cargo area below - those are dark holes that are hard to find the little things.
Your reviews are awesome and detailed. Here’s my thoughts for what it is worth. The bathroom sink is too small. So I like the length, and towing capability . I would like to have seen 100 gallons of fuel. Maybe that can be added? Shower is fine. The window over the bed should be lots bigger, same w rear window. I’m with you on the counter space. Knife bed doesn’t work to watch TV. It’s ok but they could do better. Again thank you! Love Nexus.

I like this, but it seems so dark inside, even with the lighter cabinets. Maybe putting the TV on a televator would give more light over the dinette?
That's what everybody loves about you now Matt is that you all can laugh together and that's awesome to me because every time someone laughs those deep wounds heal a little more, I've lived with that old saying for years and I really believe it....
Yes the big thing is the pass through from can to living area. If the weather is not good and like is we are disabled trying to climb over is very difficult for us

Hi Matt and Andrea! My dislikes are no power reel. The way you get into the cockpit should have been made bigger to get in. That’s all of my dislikes. My likes are the bedroom, the bathroom, and the colors in the interior and exterior. Thank you Nexxus for doing a great job! And thank you Matt and Andrea for a great job!

Some of these changes aren't so great! You know you passed right by the fact that it no longer has a one piece seamless fiberglass cap. (Hope these don't leak, creak and separate like the wraiths have been) Additionally by switching to the Chevy version it's likely going to limit service options as I doubt International service bays will want to service a Chevy. (Could be wrong, perhaps someone knows). In my experience Ford Chevy and Dodge branded chassis are more difficult to find dealer service for because of size by eliminating International they've removed a positive.. Still hoping for a cab-over windshield and a washer dryer option. I do love the new colors but still hate that they made a cheaper version of the dinette with no locking storage. Nice reviews though, keep up the good work!
Bumming, great looking RV, Chevrolet(GMC avail?) but for an older guy like me the cockpit access too difficult . Also loose swivel seats for more living space. Could the TV be on a lift for a larger window to see out while dining, playing cards? And have theater seating across from it? No step up dinette, again being older it's awkward. And could a king size bed be possible? Will check out more Nexxus floor pans! Thanks for another great review, I learn so much watching them!!!

Wow Matt and Andrea, so many to choose from. NO solar!!! 50 Amp no reel , no storage under the dinette, and the seals on top looks leakage.
I would like to caravan in two of these. One for my wife and one for me, and rig a tarp between the two for a patio area.
Queen bed is a deal breaker.
That would be our Class C / B+ if we would not not have our 2 large dogs weighing 250 lbs which limits CCC and especially space. Would be great for just the 2 of us. I do like the floor plan with the Murphy bed. But for $174k… I am gladly keep my motorhome

Another quality video! Hey rv’ers I wonder is the percentage would want or not 4 wheel drive? One more component to take care of and weight plus cost. The interior is a bit better than the usual but still a somewhat boring coach interior.
Nice. We would have bought the 35R version with this chassis if it would have had the FACTORY option to put an office in place of the bunk beds. We run 13 campgrounds in Colorado for our Consessionaire employer with a contract to the USFS and need that office space. The dinette doesn't count. We toured the Wraith, but Sheila is too short for accessing a lot of the kitchen storage. Even the bedroom storage is optimized for taller customers. She has to use a step with a string on it to get into our Chevy 2500Hd truck WITH running boards. Something about the Rebel reaches to the depth of your soul though!!!
same size shower in a sprinter C (wayfarer 25rw)! Servicing that genny would be a PITA with the flip-up cargo door.

I bought an RV mattress from Brooklyn bedding. Best mattress I’ve ever had! The mattress that came with my Winnebago 2108fbs was 💩! The Chevy chassis is better looking.
I wish that Nexus would provide for deleting the cab-over bed. This would allow them to make the access to the cab bigger . Most Super C owners I know don't use the bed over the cab and some like Renegade provide models that delete the bed over the cab. Many Super C owners travel with just two people and sleeping for a large number of people is not needed or desired.
Is there a locking differential on the Redbel?
The TV location, in your face is a deal breaker for me, otherwise this thing is amazing.

When you reviewed the 2022 model year of this model you gave it a PPP so nothing changed in the bathroom.
Does it come in a better color? Cause the outside alone is a massive turn off.

Beautiful paint job and that gorgeous bow tie. ❤❤❤❤ Yeah, I still don't like the gray and white and black or the TVs or the small Chevy windows...but a small price to pay knowing I can sleep at night and not worrying about waking up in a blazing fire if I were in a Ford or broke down in the desert. Chevy...two windows in the upper bunk, please? Luv ya ❤❤❤❤ got this written down as I can now do some Chevy shopping. Dislike the master bedroom not being equipped with 110 volt a/c clean power on each side of the bed bed for those that use bipap machines or other medical equipment. Also they leave out the USB connections at the bedsides. Why are manufacturers so inconsiderate in that regard?
Thor Omni and Magnitudes have provided the power at the bedsides.
Matt best be careful with that torn cuff - don't want to get that caught while coming down a ladder

Looks very dark inside. And, why is the propane quick connect not on the camping side?
Just came back to look on one 2024 model. We really like it, but ground clearance is so low, exhaust pipe almost touching the ground. They really need to rise it at least 5" to be practical. IMHO

Chevrolet really needs to up the power on this HD chassis. Ford and Ram don’t de-rate their trucks as much.
Great review, as usual. BUT, I do have three dislikes on this model.
1. The bedrooms of most Nexus look so plain around the bed area. (cheap looking) Need a headboard or nice trim or something.
2. The DEF fill being on the passenger side. Anyone that's ever fill 26:11 ed their DEF at a truck land knows the pump is on the driver side.
3. No pantry.
Honorable Mention: No pullout storage under the booth and no day/night shades.
Things I like:
1. Paint is beautiful.
2. 4-wheel drive diesel.
3. Lots of storage in the bedroom.
Flip the sofa and table so the table is campsite.
If I ever decide If Motorhome Rebel Only about Dancing, Music???!!

Nexus literally brags about not wasting money on the interior. This is the wrong brand if you're looking for elegance. At least it's not brown, they're making improvements where they can do it for free.
Just because it has a chevy grill doesn't mean its different! Same as with the international same truck different grill and steering wheel 😂
I just wish I could have the towing capacity and power/ longevity of the Chevy or freightliner chassis on a 26ft or smaller rv

Andrea, would you, please, also show the driver side of the motor home when come around from the back, like you do with the passenger side in the beginning of the tour? I would like to see the driver side, too! Thank you! This is a very nice motor home! I agree with your like and dislikes.

@@FrankiesFancy anything that obstructs vision of a safety feature is wrong. There are better ways as other manufacturers have found.
Dislike is the two small windows where the TV is. Move TV to cab over area and put a big window next to the dinette.
Dislike 2 agree with Andrea one sink about 3/4 the size of the two sinks.
Dislike 3 needs beefier solar, house batteries and inverter.
Really like the rest of the unit

I’d driven trucks with this chevy and international chassis. I hated the Chevy ! I think 188,000 is way to much money. Pay the extra money and go with something on a Freightliner chassis !
Personal preferences...
Every Nexus I've been in had extremely poor quality control. Literally brand new units at RV shows falling apart. Flooring buckling, trims falling off, fit & finish ridiculous. I was amazed they were being shown to the public.
As a serious buyer I thought I had found the perfect manufacturer. NOPE !
Do your research on the company, they are involved in lots of legal troubles.
If something ever looked like it doesn't belong .That truck in that position is it . 😒 . A pick up truck is a no as a RV
I do not like the white cabinets!!! Even the cheapest wood looks better stained... Know what I'm sayin'?
Def fill is not on thee right side of the truck and needs to be closer to the diesel fill. If you don’t believe me, go to any truck stop and look at where the fuel and def fill hoses are. From the looks of where everyone is putting the def fill,no one is reading these comments.😢
DEF is on the wrong side. I've never seen a DEF pump on the right side. To many corners are cut, no deal.

Another pretend Super C. It's nothing but a pick-up truck on roids,and should be concidered false advertising. REAL Super C's are built on TRUCK chassis like Freightliner, International or Volvo, not a beefed up pick-up

International makes the Chevrolet 4500, 5500, and 6500 trucks. If you look closely the only difference is the grill and badging.😊
Why in the hell does GM put the DEF fill on the right (curb) side of the truck? Makes it real un-handy to get DEF at the truck stops.
