He has a snack bar you know. They don’t like to mention it though 😂
@@enki647 So are you saying that you won't hear the word Allah in a mosque ? I think you will find the word Allah is mentioned quite often in any mosque.
@enki647 I think you completely missed what Simon was saying. He was saying that some people attending a Christian church may find the mention of certain things offensive. For instance if they were to hear the word Messiah they may be offended. If you attended a mosque you will hear mention of Allah. If you were offended by the word Allah then perhaps a mosque is not for you. And likewise if you were to attend a Christian church you may hear the word Messiah. Again if you are offended by the word Messiah then a Christian church is not for you. Christians shouldn't have to change anything for fear of offending anyone. You may have come across idiots that buy a house next to a airport then complain about the noise. 🙄
What a revolting thought 😂
I'm a Quaker. We don't sing carols. I love singing carols and go to C of E at Christmas time.
Very good indeed Simon 👍
It's a lovely Cathedral we went to Mass on the weekend we parked up on the Promenade 🙏🙏
When the Church of England have some light of truth, it accurately described the Mass as blasphemous fables and dangerous deceits
Happy Christmas to all - ✝️🎅🏻🎄Ding Dong
Merry Christmas!!
It’s a pity the C O E was not so concerned about the abuse dealt out to children in their charge
Next time Ramadan or Eid comes around we should call it the middle eastern festival in case we offend non believers.
Merry Christmas, Simon! We're looking forward to your daily words of wisdom in 2025.
Surely the main point should be that Christmas is a time of love, caring, and beauty. Also a time of peace, and we certainly need a lot of such! Go in peace.
Well, let`s face it: it`s the beginning of a new era in the history of Britain, which the future generations will refer to as the Age of Decline.
Merry Christmas Simon.
Many years ago, I went to a synagogue in Jerusalem. I was invited by the owner of the guest house that I was staying at temporarily, and I’m not Jewish. I have no strong religious beliefs, and my family are non practicing Christians, so that would probably be a good description of me as well. I didn’t take offence at anything I witnessed in that synagogue.I chose to accept the invitation to attend and I wasn’t forced to, but I found it an interesting experience.
Bet they never mentioned some of the "spicy" passages of their "holy" book.
