My wife and I were talking about SYML, and how it is so difficult to define such a great artistic style. We decided Indie Singer-Songwriter is an understatement. We have dubbed it Seattle Sadcore. Thank you Brian! Such a beautiful album. No lyrics never said so much.
It just premiered and I love all of these masterpieces so much already. Thank you so much for taking me on a trip to a place where life seems sad and so beautiful at the same time. After listening to this I feel like I just woke up from a dream.
I recently heard Where's My Love on a streaming channel in my car. I was immediately blown away. Each time I hear it, I crank it up really loud and sing along. I've been obsessed with your music ever since, spending many hours yesterday on RUclips looking/listening to the rest of your catalog. This music has touched me more profoundly than any other music I've heard in a very long time. I'm even looking at the online piano tutorials. I have a piano that's been sitting out of tune for most of the 10 years I've lived in my house. Except for Christmas carols once a year, I hardly ever play. Learning some of your music has inspired me to sit down at that piano again. I believe it will be some much-needed therapy in the coming months.
The entire piece just lifts me in an elated state, gliding through the air amidst an evening breeze while overlooking the meadows from this higher plane. Then "When we landed" hits, and I fly off into nothingness; guided by a soft whimsical, but slightly nostalgic and sceptical rhythm. Thank you Brian.

Most emotions aren’t overly complicated. They have subtleties, yes, but generally they are straightforward. Like his piano. It’s not overly complex. Just sincere and calm.
This music and all of syml songs gives me hope that even though life is tough but we should stay strong and be positive and we can overcome any challenges which we face in life.

Then she sang it. The voice, such a complement and harmony to the piano. One of my fav tracks. It sound so different, uplifting... Wish you can work more with her and create many more magical songs.
