The Ark Encounter offers the a lab intensive week for Forensic Science in the month of June, typically. We took our son to the Biology lab intensive this past summer and it was so well put together. Plus he was able to complete all this lab requirements in just one week. I highly recommend.

Forensic Science sounds fun! I loved all the science courses in high school even though I had no intention of going into a science field, haha--some of my favorite high school memories are with those big ole' science textbooks, probably would have enjoyed forensice science. too. I loved Monk and Psych, two shows that I'd happily sit and rewatch an episode of anytime! Economics is a great class for high school...one of my sisters grew up to become a high school Econ teacher and loves teaching that subject! Sounds like you have an exciting year planned!

Also...I was under the impression that the "safe" route Sheff you don't know what college your kid may apply to, are the more traditional Sciences like Biology, Chemistry, etc., is that is the way I've got my son's planned. I know it's college- specific, but if you have more info on that, especially when you're not exactly sure, I think today would make an excellent video. Love all your videos!

If I ever find out, I’ll let you know. But my son will likely go to community college and I don’t see science as being an issue with the tech major he’d likely go for. The other state school I looked at didn’t specific specific sciences for admission. It specified that 2 of the science years needed to have labs.

My 2 olders are taking Biology together with a co-op, but we have to so some modifications because the amount of vocabulary to memorize is not a priority for me for at least one of my 2 girls. I'm definitely going to be looking for alternative science classes for next year, so I'm excited you'll have a forensic science review. I'd also love to see a review on the Economics course. 🤔😊
