The Cinema Snob's super sized episode of The Stand 2020 Miniseries is back! Check out the full episode right here: ruclips.net/video/Al91I8bh36s/видео.html
I remember watching an older video and the name of Balki dropped and now I’m watching perfect strangers on Hulu: a good binge watch suggestion. Also - wohoo for stand being up!
Pratt's IMDB picture looks like he is Frankenstein's coke dealer
This movie has the production values of a Sega CD cutscene
1:23 That's disrespectful. Early PS1 production value, show some respect🤣
Witch, in tern, has the production value of failed Laser Disk games from the 80s that sat in a box for many years.
"Aren't Lee Ermey"
Every episode has that one quote...
No they aren't. They weren't Lee Ermey.... which means they were LESS than Lee Ermey.... :) Lee Ermery! Semper Fi!
TWO Lloyd segments? Looks like Leprechaun 4 just keeps giving and giving.
it was an out of context segment crossed with a What if it exploded segment!
There was no What if there, damn right he exploded.
best commercials ever.
10:50 Fun fact that actor was originally going to be Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket until R. Lee Ermey sniped the role out from under him as the technical advisor and he instead got the still iconic "Get Some!" Door Gunner part.
that's why he looks so familiar. thanks
Yep the Door Gunner form Full Metal Jacket
The title character is never once in the film referred to as a Leprechaun. He is only called "alien," "monster," "bastard," or some combination thereof.
The sound of the doors opening and closing are taken from the original DOOM video game, where it was the sound of the elevators.
Leprechaun uses a lightsaber, Warwick Davis himself has appeared in several 'Star Wars' movies, most notably as Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983).
Just the fact that the movie has a character named "Mittenspider" alone makes it worth watching.
that name alone tells you exactly what kind of movie you'rre getting into.
That may be true, but I can't believe this movie has a space princess for the leprechaun to seduce. There is gold, yes, but think of the gum disease when you look at him.
And his skin is joined to his robotic parts with pop-rivets. Surely leakage would be an issue?
"Also, he's a cartoon Nazi from World War 2, for some reason."
Of course he is. Have you never seen 'Allo 'Allo?
Crud... didn't see your post there.
Is that Gruber??
@@dragonmaster613 It is.
It always bugs me how Hollywood cant make a scientist without making them a cartoon Nazi or Einstein knockoff
Funnily enough, he also played an alien Nazi in Dr Who Genesis of the Daleks.
P.S the character wasn't specifically named as a Nazi, but you could clearly see where the writer got the inspiration from.

Leprechaun... IN SPACE!
🎶 set controls to ouuuuuter space 🎶
@@Zelkova0234 🎶 NOW! Flying higher than ever beforeeee 🎶
Jason X was the Andromeda fan fic. Even had a couple of actresses from it
That cover for "A Very Unlucky Leprechaun" makes me want a Leprechaun horror movie where he just looks like that, because it's honestly creepier. What looks like a happy, fun loving Leprechaun being an evil murderous little gremlin could be great.
Mittenhand's accent could be a nod to lieutenant Gruber, the character played by Guy Siner in the comedy series Allo Allo.
Honestly Leprechaun 4 is one of the best 'so bad it's good' movies out there. I remember it coming on TV one late night years ago and I was utterly entranced at how entertaining it was.
Honestly, in terms of Tool Time girls, Debbie Dunning was way more attractive in my opinion!
Yes. Yes she is.
Yes! She drove my young mind wild.
Agreed!
Fact
If the Leprechaun was so powerful, why didn't he make himself king?
His powers seem to be related more to mischief and mayhem than anything really concrete
I hate to give credit to this useful hilarious movie but they *might* have been attempting to show some fairytale/mythological limits to his powers...you know like how vampires can't enter a home unless invited? Pretty sure Leprechauns have some things that they're not allowed to do directly and have to scheme and trick to get.
@@heartysquid, agree. But, I don't think it's really to the credit of this movie particularly as the leprechaun isn't shown to be all-powerful or anything in the other movies. It's more trickery and glamors and some conjuring than some type of omnipotence.
There's also the fact that it's a different leprechaun with different abilities and weaknesses (and goals) in each movie to muddy the waters but that's neither here nor there really.
What happened to the Princess?
Guy Sinner (Mittenhand) played not only a closeted Nazi on sitcom Allo Allo but also appeared alongside Dalek creator Davros in his first appearance on Doctor Who. Of his time on the latter he said "what I remember the most is trying to keep in mind that I was playing a barely contained genocidal maniac who took himself really seriously while all around me Dalek operators were tripping over power cables and intoning "OH-BUGG-ER-MEEEEEEEEEE"
"I'm a doctor of...biology."
So you mean you're a biologist? Pretty sure an actual biologist would know the real name for their profession.
I have been a problem landscaper..
For a few years...
Doesn't that make me serial rakest???
gee you must be smart. wow. talk about condescending.
@@albertgein3082 yes it do
A biologist with a Phd is a doctor of biology. There's a difference...
Thank you for stepping on the joke.
Fun fact: Dr. Mittenhand is played by the same guy who voiced the briefing officer in the Tie-Fighter game. :)
Pfft, that's not fun.
He was a hilarious German tank corp officer in the comedy TV series Allo, Allo.
And the blonde scientist is Kes's daughter with Tom in the "Star Trek: Voyager" episode "Before and After".... no wonder Kes decided to erase that timeline.
@@lizzychrome7630 Kes should have erased the timeline where she quit the series
He also got thrown out a window in Darkman.
Let's see, we've seen Leprechaun in space, Jason in space, Pinhead in space, and I guess technically Pennywise since he came from space. Who else can we shoot up there?
Dracula in Space.
@@chasehedges6775 It's called Dracula 3000. As for my suggestion, Graboids in Space.
Phantasm in Space?
You forgot Critters in space.
@@randalgraves6979 well the Critters came from space so...
*In Space No Can Steal Me Gold*
Or hear you scream.
I wonder if the leprechaun and Jason Voorhees met each other in space by accident.
You know they'd bone if they did
I don't know. Space is pretty big.
I love this goddamn movie series.
Though I do hope that the Leprechaun wins eventually.
Two "Lloyd's Out of Context 911 Lone Star Clip of the Week", is it an early Saint Patrick's Day miracle?
I wondered why I felt a bit snobby to everyone today , it all makes sense now
So Renn and Stimpy were wrong! It isn't just "You can do anything you want BUT don't whiz on the electric fence!". They should have added "and the remains of the blown up Leprechaun"
Now I demand a Leprechaun game
So when is Madea in Space going to happen?
Sure, why not? Every Madea movie is already "Madea In The Hood", so they're ahead of the game in that aspect.
@@glennwelsh9784 My comment is also a reference to Brads midnight screenings of Madea: Boo. Halloween.
"Just wait for Madea in space. Its gonna happen. And if its anything like this movie, its going to be five minutes of space and then people riffing in parlour rooms for forty five minutes about pot." - Brad during his rant of Midnight Screenings for Madea, Boo. Halloween.
don't give them any ideas.
Ernest in Space should of happen years ago
Dr. Mittenspider. Two Lloyd clips. A Jake from State Farm joke. The tool girl being badass. And to top it off, the black guy SURVIVED the movie. This is a blessed review.
There are alot of "dont have sex" undertones in this feature. The guys behind Old Fashioned must have gotten some inspiration or atleast psychological trauma from watching this. I could see a leprechaun jumping out of Clays pants and say "no pot of gold for you before marriage!".
"I can't be alone in a room with a women... Because a leprechaun will jump out of my penis if I become aroused."
5:48-5:51 I can’t watch this scene without hearing the crew from Double Toasted laughing their heads off.
Huh, Dr Mittenhand is in fact Gruber from Allo Allo.. Took me a few minutes
I was waiting throughout the review for some reference to his little tank.
Thats why he looked so damn familiar. Thanks.
@@Dantegrey1 He was also in Pirates of the Caribbean!? I missed that completely. Did he at least have his little tonk?
@@thomasdale5807 That and the fact he was playing a German in both cases. I would have thought it was the most obvious reference.
Alllo Allo....in spaaaaaaace!
I was ten years old when I watched this movie, and when the Leprechaun went up his pee stream, that freaked me out...😬 And because of that, I never peed on anything that was dead...💯✔️
The Leprechaun Multiverse is pretty amazing.
There, there, Lloyd. It may not have been the best clip, but getting to see your handsome face and beautiful eyes made it worthwhile anyway.
I’ll give the film this: the Princess is hot.
You see her boobs.
Still not worth the crap film though
all the women are hot.
All the blondes can die, I’ll take Hottie
I mean Heidi 😐
If these episodes have taught me anything, it's to watch Lone Star 911
Lloyd definitely has good taste in EMS based dramas on Fox, you should definitely check it out.
I think watching Lone Star 911 'in context' would ruin it for me.
It’s crazier than Lloyd lets on
Lauren Collins & Debbie Dunning was the only reason why I remotely watched Leprechaun IN SPAAACE!!!
I just watched "moonraker" so it makes sense that this weeks snob episode is also in the series of "Put franchise in space" movies we all know and love.
At least the black guy survived in this one.
Just the fact that the movie has a character named "Mittenspider" alone makes it worth watching.
Honestly Leprechaun 4 is one of the best 'so bad it's good' movies out there. I remember it coming on TV one late night years ago and I was utterly entranced at how entertaining it was.
*Most people* Yay a new Snob review!
*Me as a cat person* What’s Lloyd contribution?
I wonder what it is about Lloyd and the clip of the week that's just simply enjoyable
Soon Lloyd will get top billing and it will just be "featuring Cinema Snob" and on that day I for one will shed a silent tear of joy
God I remember walking past the In The Hood VHS in Blockbuster as a kid
I'd say most people did.
still waiting for "Machete Kills again in space"
*Sees a new episode > grabs and loads bong > sits and rips > pushes play* Hold Fast 💕
I'll never forget my quote after renting this movie for friends' night back in the day. "If a movie sucks, you shouldn't have to pay three bucks!" I stand by that.
With a title like "Leprechaun 4: In Space", what did you expect?
@@dreamlandnightmare What were you expecting?
@@dreamlandnightmare *lol* I'll admit, the first three aren't masterpieces, but it was genuinely fun to sit and watch them with a room full of friends! That fourth one...Just bad! Honestly, past the third, I really couldn't get into any of them.
@@TheJohno95 Warwick Davis performances are the only thing half way entertaining or worth watching in the execrable movies.
@@dreamlandnightmare Warwick IS awesome! He is what makes those first few. You can tell he doesn't want to be there after the fourth one. And when they replaced him....Well, it was like when they replaced Robert Englund in a Nightmare on Elm Street. That voice and manner is just too integral to the character. You can't replace them!
I was waiting for Dr. Mittenhand to introduce his assistant, Nurse Sockfoot.
And of course a spaceship has its own dance club. Where else is David Ryder going to pick up the daughter-wife of the ship's captain?
Big McHugelarge!
Warwick is truly enjoying being in these movies. Good for him!
20:20 I miss Spoony
Guessing Snob hasn't watched 'Allo' Allo, a classic British sitcom set in WW2 France. Guy Siner played Hans Gruber, a nazi officer who was very.. affectionate for the main character 😂 It's a brilliant show and thoroughly recommend it!
Ah, good old Gruber with his Renee crush and little tank😅
8:30 My guess would be the Leprechaun says- "when the doctor asks if you're ready for your suppository the answer is NO".
To keep in spirt with the movie, I'll be watching it nice and boozed up. 🍺🍻
Dr. Pepper will suffice.
is there any other way?
Man it's been a long time since the Snob did Brian Trenchert-Smith's Day/Strike of the Panther movies
Has he done leprechaun in da hoodm
@@felixcolon599 yea it was a crossover like a long time ago
@@mbclove1 a crossover with who btw?
@@felixcolon599 I forget the guys name sry
This was the first Leprechaun movie I ever saw as a kid on Cinemax back in the early 2000s. I remember I was scared at the spider monster back then but now looking back at it, I realized it was a lot of good cheesy fun.
My impression that over this year of quarantine, Lloyd has become a little jaded.
I'm impressed how strong his Chicago or midwest accent has gotten over the years.
The Leprechaun?
@@starsiegeplayer Brad loll
The “cartoon Nazi” was played by Guy Siner, a British actor who portrayed a (possibly gay) Nazi in the very popular ‘Allo ‘Allo
Thanks for the info. Just need to know if that’s a TV show or Movie?
Brian Trenchard-Smith is regularly on Trailers from Hell.
March 17th is also the day that Kurt Vogel Russell was born. Happy 70th.
No joke, I was watching your Leprechaun episodes the other day, wishing you to review the 4th one. Yey, I got my magic wish!
I hope you eventually review the kid's film A Very Unlucky Leprechaun, which looks like the scariest one.
Lol, this was the last Leprechaun movie I remember watching back in the day. Also the Mittens/Spider looked awesome.
I'd watch a spin-off with Mittenspider hosting a cooking show on the food network.
Something that I never understood. When people mention 'franchises that go to space', they mention Critters and use 'Critters 4'...but it's like people don't realize that Critters were in space at the beginning of the first movie...because they are Aliens. Again, just something I never understood.
They mean "set in space." Critters was set on Earth. When they say "x...in space", the "x" is usually the title of a movie or franchise, not the characters. It's a fine distinction, but since you brought it up, I figured I'd explain it.
13: 40 this scene kinda reminds me of when Freddy started cutting his own fingers off in final nightmare.
He did it in the first movie too 😐
14:01-14:06 If you look closely at this scene when the giant space AC unit falls on the guy (14:05), the dude is not even there! Hahahaha!
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too, Snob. 🍀
The girl didn't strip down toward the end. Mittenspider ripped off her pants.
Honestly this movie sounds awesome
It is. Snob didn't even include most of the funniest lines and scenes.
I knew that was Jackie Denardo! She actually has no background in science or military training; she just volunteered to get away from Dennis Reynolds.
I always thought Lt. Gruber from Allo Allo needed to be an albino Dalek baby.
Disney Star Wars: *furiously taking notes*
You're not wrong.
Thanks, Brad. Every time I 'm bummed about the direction of a writing project, I watch reviews like this and feel a LOT better!
ah yes, im here just in time.
And we can thank Star Trek and Star Wars for all these movies in space.
Well... It's no Eraserhead, but it's just as insane!
Have a happy St. Patrick's Day everybody! Let's break out the Jameson! With this film, I'll think it'll fit in just nicely!
wrong holiday. "Eraserhead" is what you watch for Father's Day!
7:05 - Is it just me, or is Warwick Davis somehow creepier looking here than he is as the "horror" Leprechaun?
The sequel to the first film had to recast the leprechaun and honestly he looks really creepy as I recall, though he's also a former WWE wrestler as well (WWE also having done a Leprechaun film called Leprechaun Origins, which makes Leprechaun In Space seem like a masterpiece of cinema by comparison)
A very unlucky Leprechaun is the most frightening
Guy Domville Siner also played Lieutenant Hubert Gruber in 'Allo 'Allo!
Great ad for Peacock
I love all of these movies
I just watched this whole movie for the first time 2 days ago. I have no regrets
Peacock presents the Cinema Snob, brought to you by Peacock in association with Peacock
4 Is one of the better Leprechaun movies they made...but nothing is better then Leprechaun 2...its hands down the best in the franchise😃😄😃
20:19 The Human Spider Sequence--one of the best things Brad was a part of, ever.
So Leprechaun is the dreaded Candiru. Huh neat!
Guy Siner is actually a great comedic actor..
8:17-8:30 I can’t forget the “Lep Dick” joke from the Kill Count on Dead Meat.
Being a British person, I also remember Guy Siner from a major role in the sitcom Allo Allo!
And being a sci-fi person, I also remember him from a supporting role in Babylon 5.
He was also a Kaled soldier in Doctor Who. And yes, Kaled is an anagram...
It's kind of odd that he looks a bit like Davros in this film...
Guy Siner was in Allo Allo, that was a bloody good show. What the hell happened man T - T
Allo Allo did stage plays, and fan cons for a while, but I don't think we saw actors from that series in many Hollywood made movies.
Great, now I gotta wait year for Leprechaun in the Hood.
Disappointed that Snob made no Penguins of Madagascar jokes with there being a Kowalski.
Warwick Davis now seen everyday on itv presenting Tenable
When your franchise runs out of ideas , you go to space !!!
That's Jackie Denardo of the Channel 5 News weather team! Lol he said space Dennis Reynolds. Pretty damn funny!
6:03-6:14 I’m laughing pretty hard at this right now.
Ectually R. Lee Ermey replaced him in Full Metal Jacket because it was too hard for him to remember all the lines Ermey wrote. He did have a part where he was the door gunner...
I thought it was just because Ermey, an actual drill sergeant, was better at the role than the actor he was hired to coach.
3:50-4:00 (Ma'am we're all taking it seriously so you should too!)
5:26-5:30 (Obviously)
5:59-6:13 (Waaaaay better)
7:15-7:37 (Its ok Lloyd, they can't all be winners.)
8:31-8:33 (Well now I'm curious)
10:48-10:55 (😂😂😂)
11:57-12:03 (Both?)
12:11 (😆)
12:36-12:41 (Every man would want to go out that way)
17:20-17:35 (There ya go, Lloyd!)
Thanks for always making my day brad
Omg this is my favorite of the whole series! I was looking forward to this for years!
