- In this episode I got together with my best friends in Japan for @masalovescars birthday and we went for drives, visited some shops and had dinner and went to a Shisha bar. Join us for a night out on the town as only car guys do!

IMO I have to agree with Massa on the Yaris. You can argue that the Civic is a faster car but I think the Yaris because of its size and lightweight is more fun on the streets. YMMV
i agree hundred percent too, i dont have the fortune of driving a toyota made in japan, but from the korean side lucky to have driven a hyundai i20 sport, similar hatch, not the race limited ofcourse but even in parallel street build if youll compare them, you know the hatches have that quick agility and peppy kick especially on the tighter touge roads for sure, the size and light weight makes it more fun on the streets as well but the mountains are where they shine-there a reason why so many top rally builds base off of these variants, even though there are some legendary sedans too - it does depend on how its tuned of course, but ultimately cars base dynamics are pretty defining when it comes to a discussion on driveability and feel, so trust masa on the hatch and glad to know it resonate with my own experience
I agree. I’m a Ford guy so I owned a Fiesta ST and own a Focus RS now, but the Fiesta is as fun as the Focus in the city, and more fun in the canyons on the right kind of road (tight and twisty).

When I was a kid, I was staying over at my grandparents house and fell asleep on the couch. Around 2 I was woken up by taps on the 3-4 taps on the couch. Also, after my father passed, I was then living with my grandparents, a couple of months after his passing I was woken up again, this time I heard “hey son” as if he was standing/sitting next to me. Boom two ghost stories.

I’ve never had any ghost experience but my wife has. When she was in high school she was staying at her friends house overnight. She was sitting at the kitchen table with the family. Her friends brother walks into the room and turn’s white. He looks to my wife and said he just saw her standing upstairs facing into a random wall. Fast forward a bit, and one day the mom was outside gardening and this psychic medium pulls up and tells her a woman with dark hair was standing next to her.

That's what my mom told me.
It was Xmass time like 1980s in Poland. I wasn't born yet. My dad and his friend went to forest to cut down xmass tree for the family. They went deep, found perfect tree and cut it down. After loading it onto the car, they try to go out, but they were stuck in slippery snow. It was hard winter then, and was getting really cold. While they were struggling to move, pushing car etc, some random old guy came out from forest. He was dressed in older-fashon way. He offered help to push car out, so they go back home. They both went into car, and old guy was pushing them from behind. They move out without any problem. Friend said, that they should stop to thank the old person, but my dad said, that they should really go home.
Where is ghost, you may ask?
some years before, my dads dad dies in car accident. He was wearing exactly same cloths as old guy in the forest. looking similar too.
Looking at the story now, it might be just a coincidence. But from other perspective - who walks alone in non-winter cloths deep in forest (like few km in any direction to nearest house) in -15 deg and hard snow ? and why he was able to help, when they both push and couldn't do... ?

That Yaris looks badass considering its stock. I wish you have your S2000 with you. At least the Yaris would have a competition in looks, the FL5 and forester is outmatched. S2K is in Shogun for some bodywork. If you recall, he has been using the S2K frequently for drives previously. The forester is shown more often now because of the new baby episodes and to pick up some stuff for his house.
