Just recently, I scored 8k (my highest ever) damage and still lost the game.
So I can imagine QB's feeling after this game.
I play light mostly and my highest dmg is only 5.800. I set myself targets. I tried to get over 10k spotting and did it a few months ago but we lost.
Trying for 15k spotting and to beat my dmg. record.
I need to `git gud` lol
My dmg record is a 7600 damage, 7 kill loss. Felt real bad. It was still a 1v2 after all that too lol

You should speedrun a tech tree line in the new year. It could be a fun new challenge.
And on a new account made only for this, playsforfree style and tell the new players how long it takes to reach tier 10 for each tech tree with stats and number of games it took and things like that that I love how you make in excel.
U just made me realize it's almost holiday ops again, time to grind for the amx m4 54 for my halloween crew!
You should have left the cap once you see the tree fall and go to the cover. That way you can shoot him once and get behind cover more quickly. 268 could’ve stopped coming for you when you left the cap and ends up as a draw but that way, you’d have better chance winning.
I don't think this loss was your fault. The Leopard 1 is definitely more to blame, not because he camped but because he literally gave his tank away to the 268. I'm surprised he managed to do 4k damage, he certainly doesn't play like someone who would have that kind of result often. The Grille could arguably also be faulted, but having a Grille myself I know the accuracy stat is a lie.
Grille should have laid ambush instead. He should have realized that the other person in your team (QB) is going to cap, so the easiest option is to just hold an ambush (or at the very least just delaying tactics) and 268 will have no other option rather than yoloing and hoping that grille would miss a few times before he could reach cap circle
IDK if it was the right choice or not, but what I do know is I would have done something far worse...Were I there! This was a fun journey to follow, Cheers.
You have said a few times how the Strength of the Action 10 is hull down using your gun depression so maybe the front of the cap ring was the right option but you would have to get a tracking shot to survive I think.

When you were still 2 tanks, I think it was right to tell your teammate to be safe then try to team up. A turretless tank is not that scary when you have mobile tanks to flank. Ideally you both have mics to coordinate your final movements than giving them 2x 1 on 1 engagements
I would have gone after the 268 off the hill initially. Arty be darned
GG, in retrospect probably should left the cap once the tree fell, would've been closer to the safe corner once they crested the ridge. But of course in the heat of the battle probably would've done the same thing. Hindsight 20/20
Edit: Also, the Leo on your team was very much the stereotypical Leo

I love the Centurion AX. It was my first Tier 10 and whenever I play it it just feels like such a nice middle ground (especially as I’m mostly a medium tank player). It has great gun depression, enough armour to pull off some bounces, nice gun handling and pretty fast. Feels a bit like an armoured Leopard which is slightly worse at long distances but has a much better chance at close range
I've actually been really loving the AX in onslaught. Just seems to be a solid performer

I hate players like that Leopard, sits and does nothing waiting for the team to do the heavy lifting, then goes and "secures" kills at the end. He cost you that game for sure.
Ugh. The Grille and Leopard tried hard to lose that one...

The gun handling of the Centurion should be improved. It is basically a paper med like the Leo. And it should consequently excel by its gun

they should put cheiftain proto turret and would be great and it would still have commanders hatch weakspot but it wouldnt be so thrash
I don't think the question was what you did-didn't do at the end of the battle.
The mistake was needlessly putting yourself into a cross fire by going to the top of the hill.
It was greedy and cost you most of your HP. Now if you had that additional HP at the end of the battle......

The Centurion AX is kinda like the T8 VK 45.02A, a tank that time forgot. cause somehow a T8 heavy has the same gold pen as a T7 medium......

I remember I watched this battle on your stream, but in the beginning I was like, I remember watching your steam and your on the same tank and same map I was like hmmmmmm this is very similar to what I watched on the stream and then I realized that this is the battle I watched on the stream when you shut down that arty
Have any suggestions for getting better communication with your team? I was playing this map yesterday with the Cromwell Berlin and rushed the hill, which I learned to do from your channel. I had tried to communicate what I was doing but had no help and ended up in a 2v1 with a VK 30.06 and a Crusader who flanked me, which I quickly lost. I made it to the defendable position that's safe from arty but was left out to dry by my team

The real problem with Cent AX and Cent 7/1, if you get tracked sideways then you lose the track along with the driver and the ammo rack. You have to be super super careful and that kills all the fun.
I love my 30b it's the first tier 10 I got
Win or loose ANY battle that ends with less than 6 tanks on the winning side IS a GG. I hate the landslide win or loose games that still plague the game.

So what I usually do is (although it is not guaranteed to be efficient):
- Cap until you are sure the enemy is getting close (if they are not, well... bad luck)
- Leave the cap for a good sniping position
- Wait for the enemy to come in sight
- Do whatever you need to do :)
Hmmm maybe the better play would have been is you to push for the cap and Grille to stay somewhere hidden so he can one shot the enemy tank....
You could go for the cap circle where the 268 popup track him then go around him track again you win
I feel like the panther/m10 also has a bad silhouette. I am surprised that I ever bounce anything.
You should get your mods to check out the unban requests. I got sucked into a ban wave that I had nothing to do with and I miss watching your stream!

Perhaps the only thing that could have been done better would be to start moving as soon as the tree fell - then you would be closer to cover. But hindsight is 20/20.

@QuickyBaby I've played this tank many times in all game modes. It was a great tank up till they nerfed its Hesh. They buffed the mobility. Its no different from Patton 48.
You should give the AMX 30B or AMX 30 some love :'( at least the tier 9 is fun

If I were you, i would have ran by the time i saw the tree falling...And then try to go around and use my turret to engage him...But still it was a tricky moment...

I always wonder why WG don´t give some reward for the top 3 players in the losing team (or even the best one). It´s frustrating to do (like in this one) 7k damage and kill 4 tanks, and get a tiny reward even if you performed excellent.

On the second thought though, some players, when they see they are in the loosing team, they will not play the game and will just sit back and snipe, using other team members as spotters.
I think you did the perfect play. You just got a super noob grille and leopard, I don't think you can win this unless you got lucky
Forget the midleplay game, he remained 1vs1 with a td. He didnt made the best decision in the end. It was good but too risky, but thats how Quickybaby plays anyway, must have something to do with the love of english to gamble :)

the fact that the leo 1 threw that game at the end is what disappoints me alot in wot pc, coming to the end even 1 tank can make the huge difference

Centurion Action X is such an underrated tank along with the forgotten AMX 30 B
It's not underrated, it's just bad compared to other tierX meds. The gun is very unreliable; for every nice game like this there are three games where not a single shot hits the bulls' eye. Nice turret armour? Not against gold.

30b is god god awful. Gun sucks, pen sucks, and it has zero armor. The max 30 at tier 9 is still decent but the 30b is trash at tier 10
@@PDTeter i dont know about the Crew as well as equipment you are using but for me the 30b is one of the most accurate tier 10 tanks in my garage (after Leo), it has good mobility and occasionally bounces 1 or 2 shots - yes of course it lacks compared to meta tanks but I wouldn't call it crap either

I want to see a tournament with no gold rounds to see who has actual skills.
Problem is a lot of tanks are literally balanced around their gold rounds 😒 (but I like the idea!)
still have rng of shells, aim, and pen, so it never will be all actual skill ;) I could have 268 pen but low roll for 215 even though I hit the weak spot it bounces with 215 etc, or the rng could cause it to hit dirt so it didn't matter if you were using gold or not, it never will be actual skill. I know you're perfectly aimed shots miss just like mine do 20% of the time, cause RNG trumps our skill.
It would just change the meta to impenetrable tanks fighting impenetrable tanks or stale mate hulldown battles were no one will push
When you understand what actual skill is, you'll start using gold rounds too.
not so much of a right decision from my experiences, i cant even use the armor properly cause it just never worked for me, it is always when i try to use the turret armor properly its just get penned by any gold rounds like any other matches so doing ridge lines and any thing does not do anything for me. its quite painful enough playing f2p and i cant even play tier 10 as fun as below tiers....

I dont know his set up but my AX reaches 60KPH, my view range is 490+. I find the gun unreliable shots going way of center 90% of the time bounces easy pens. Cent7/1 gun behaves way more reliably has a lower profile and better turret. WG making a teir x worse than a teir 9. You can scrap in this tank but everyone using heat at teir x means no bounces you have to play long range support these days depending upon opposition line up. I seem to have better view range than other medium tanks in my team so play as scout when no lights in team. I cant make this tank work coinsitently in current meta.

Had a game earlier 2 TDs sat in base while the rest of the team melted,I made it to the opposing base,couldn't get a shot on the artillery before 2 lights,a medium and a heavy came at me,what did the 2 TDs do....sat at base tapping"ATTACK"....so I ran back to the base,what did the 2 TDs do....drove away on the other flank,then got picked off leaving me to fight a medium,a heavy,a TD and artillery....it went as expected.

2 vs 1 u would win.
Being a one shot being on the cap puts you at a disadvantage, you needed some distance to get 2 shots on him, being in the cap put you to far away from cover so you were only getting one shot on him and him one on you. But hind site is 20/20, can’t fault you I would have done the same.
You should try the amx cdc with it mobility you will like it 💀

Hi qb, just a scenario, at the end, after going into cap, the 268 would hunt you regardless, would you have enough time to go to the houses on the right to have a better chance? It is a turretless td afterall.
Not a huge fan of supporting gold ammo.
I left this toxic game 13 months ago and nothing I see atm will entice me back.

Is Quickybaby using a MOD to be able to see all of the enemies tank.. the tank is red where you can't hit it... Is that a MOD or a function I'm missing?

Ah WoT "realism". Not only is a UK Tank firing HEAT from the 105mm L7 instead of HESH, but the longest serving tank in UK history (admittedly not with this turret) is only "so so".

I think as soon as you are 2 v 1 you need to go clise to your teammate. He cant shoot you both.
FV 4202 was my first tier 10 tank. For me, it was the device after which it was absolutely indifferent what to pump from the medium tanks. Because if you "passed all the circles of Hell and understood how to play on it", other cycle machines will be just "Child's toys" for you. 34,000 battles were fought on it. And yes, for me, it was the tank for which I was "not ashamed". And now, he remained in the hangar fv 4202, the eighth level. And yes, it is also "an interesting device that teaches how to play and reveals the whole essence of English tank construction."

Ik the fv4202 was very bad but i still think it had one of the more unique guns at t10.
That hill is a favorite spot to kill tanks you are on in the NA servers you hardly see players use that hill 🤣
8000+ dmg in a lost game is just a waste off time, no more, no less....
I think right decision would been not play Centurion at all.
