I was a tank driver on a modified (buffed up) Centurion in the early 90s and the FV4202 made me relive those memories. So realistic. The Acrion X is my dream tank and it now stands in my garage with my highly trained crew transferred over into it from the FV4202 which I finally sold. My life is complete.

You can have it on the Charioteer at tier 8 and you get to slap tier 6’s with it. 215 pen is crap at tier 10 with all the thick armour and spaced crap armour everywhere on russian tanks. 215 hesh at tier 8 is way better than 215 at tier 10. A lack of any real premium round is a huge downside at tier 10 because so many targets you simply cannot penetrate unless you get the sides or behind

British tanks: most of them have a vertical stabilizer

The reason that the side armor is 50.8 mm is because that is 2 inches. 1 inch is about 25.4mm. It just happened to be very friendly to WoT’s overmatch mechanic

The Action 10 needs the same ammo types as the Centurion 7/1. APCR, HESH and HE. Boy was it fun once clearing a flank to load HESH and dominate even Heavy tanks sides and rears

Been playing for around 5 years and the AX was one of the last teir 10 med i needed. Got it recently and actually love it.
5:33 not entirely arbitrary. 50.8mm is almost exactly 2 inches, hence the extra decimal precision
Since 1 inch is defined to be 25.4mm, it *is* exactly 2 inches
More intros like this please it was a nice change of pace and I enjoyed it very much 👍🏼

It’s days like this I’m glad that I’m a “console peasant.” I’m fortunate enough to have the Centurion AX, FV4202, and Chieftain Mk.6 in my garage roster. And they’ve recently added the Chieftain from PC as an earn-able premium tier X with 450k xp. Love these tanks and their play style. Suits my sniper style very well.

nice review, qb. i found my cent ax to be my most reliable tier x med because of its all rounded nature. it is also a lot more relaxing to drive in. cheers and hoping to see more of these in the future!

For a second I was... "omg QB has finally lost it!"... lmao... great intro...
In WW2 the British used to have a small cooker on wheels behind some of their tanks as an attachment. After a long day of driving this cooker would be used to make tea. The Brits quickly learned not to do that in the evening anymore as they made excellent target for German gunners.
Loved the commentary.
I absolutely love my CentAX. The DPM *is* bloody solid, and with the ground resistance +p/w ratio it just feels so mobile, I can move about the battlefield and not feel sluggish.
I think the primary reason I love it so much though is that it just looks really, really cool.

Ah, my most played tank 🙂. I know it's not the best medium, but it just works for me. Same for the Cent Mk.1 and the 7/1 as well. Love these tanks!

One of the smallest cupolas on tier 10? I would say it's cupola is the biggest along with M48A5 and the Obj 140 on a tier 10 medium excluding the amx 30b.

Cheerio, old boy! Smashing review! These players that KNOW how to play the Cent on a ridge line are SUCH a pain in the ass to deal with as a heavy tank player.
Been playing the cent and patton recently, and I think I like the Patton more. I think it’s just the better turret armor.
P obviously tier 10 since that’s what this video is about. M48a5 and cent AX
P the tier 9 Patton has troll armor. It’s turret armor works great against lower tiers, but not against higher tiers
The M48 turret is just as cheese as the Centurion AX when subjected to gold spam. Neither do well, only against plebs firing standard ammo

For me, if the E50M get buffed, it will be one of the best T10 medium tanks :
- (really) good armor including the turret,
- (really) good german accuracy,
- correct view range,
- correct mobility (even good, just bad acceleration)

my only gripes with the cent AX is the turret front, especially the area around the gun.
you can be penned by any t10 gun there with standard ammo.
hard to peak over a ridge when they just wait for your gun to poke out then blast that area.
especially in a close range hull down poking.

and do remember that this is still a centurion hull.
if arty hits your engine deck roof flush, it's a sure pen as it got up to 20mm of roof armor.

I think one could also see another reason why the Centurion AX hasn't had as many changes as the other Tier 10 medium tanks over the 5 years since it was introduced to replace the FV4202. Because it doesn't need it.
It is well rounded enough to take on many medium tank roles (ridge fighting, sniping, flanking, dogfighting) without being accused of being overpowered or underpowered.
It is my favourite iron Chariot...Damn thing is a beast.

The FV4202 is essentially the same kind of play style at tier 8, plus much better hull armor tier for tier.

Can you please do a review of the T110e5 again? It has undergone a lot of changes and I'm not entirely sure where it stands... I'm tempted to grind for it since it seems to be in the niche of tanks that might fit my playstyle... since I like speed, frontal armor, and decent gun handling. Also which are the comparative advantages between Centurion AX, T110e5, and M48 Patton? I feel like they seem to all fill the same niche with slight differences... which of these should I choose? Hell even the Super Pershing seem to fill a similar niche, except with the lowest speed out of the four if we are comparing them.

I think I’ve played 1 or 2 thousand games total and I’ve played since the start of the game in 2011. Download the game, play for a week or maybe a month. Then quit for a year or two maybe more and come back.

for some reason i do really well in this tank compared to my other T10 meds, I'm not really sure why considering the stats arent amazing. i guess its an all rounder like the M48 but with much better mobility, high explosive, and dispersion?
i guess the patton is way better at playing ridges because of the better turret armor, you trade that armor for the better gun handling on the cent ax

@@greed6920 I always see the Patton being praised because of it's excellent gun handling. CAX is still more mobile. But single-shooting tanks are becoming worse and worse in current game meta
It’s strange i’m terrible with the AX, compared to my others tier 10, and even from the 7/1
I love my centax, I have a 52%wr and 1moe on it which is better than all other tanks for me.
I'm still on the cent 7\1 with the stock 20 pdr but not wanting yo play it only to unlock another 20 pdr and then long grind for the 105
What have I stumbled onto for the intro. The upmost British of British stereotypes for a tank review, we’re getting colonised again by the way this went.
The predecessor of this, the FV4202 (the UK tech tree version way back then) was my first Tier 10 tank. Also, probably the first comment from the ASIA server. =)
I own both the Leo 1 and the Cent AX. While I feel like I can get much higher damage games in the Leo, I still think the Cent has more consistent and reliable performance across most maps, at least for me.
