The most important thing about Ise, is to use return button to group your aircraft super close together. In doing so the enemy AA would have to shoot up one squadron while the other will be completely preserved and ready to use again, so you will save 1 or 2 more dive bombers per sortie. This method will help preserve your planes so they will be available to use throughout the battle. Of course, you can still lose your planes if there's a skilled enemy CV or you choose to be dumb and attack enemy AA blobs, but it should work in most situations.
Also, for heaven's sake, shoot AP! Even if you can't pen properly, then aim for the deck or the bow! Never use HE on non-DD unless it is a German battleship caught with her pants/damage control down.
With Ise you want to set fires the AP can be used but damage in a game is more consistent if you try to burn ships rather than pray the game has mercy on you

I still remember ergot and I ended up in a bot battle and he was moving to cap in his graff lol. Shootin botes better than our bot bbs. Like a crazy berserker swinging his battle axe thru all the red devils

I won an Ise in a crate recently. Was hoping for some needed blueprints... Although an odd ship, I do enjoy playing her, because she is so different. I did get the historical camo, since she came so cheap. She not only looks great with it, the camo actually is quite useful. I would never have bought the Ise, but since she is in port, I'm keeping her.
The Japanese may have been mildly short of carriers. But it really does not matter much when you are seriously short of carrier pilots.
The first game I suspect your team mates looked at the squad and all said, "hey, its Terry. Let's let him carry us in that thingy he's sailing on"
A side note. Lately I have been seeing a lot of lag in game play. I dont know if it's the servers or my internet service.

I might have some Ise gameplay videos to share. I team with another player with "Ise" in their name on the NA server. We tend to do well each game unless were tossed into a match against t8's..
What annoys me about Ise are the people who forget about the BB half of the ship, and just reverse into a corner of the map and then don't actually use their fairly substantial amount firepower
I always throe my planes at destroyers until later in the battle because BBs and some cruisers will eat them up way too fast. My heart skipped a beat when I saw you skip a Destroyer and hit a BB first thing
I do the same thing, I aim for the destroyers and it is usually effective, light cruisers also make really good targets, and I usually do good and keep planes even at the end
I once made the same mistake Ergo did in my Lexington on the Golden Channel map. Forgot I was moving forward and ended up in front of my team where I got blasted.
I don't have Ise but I've seen its weakness first hand. Got behind one while I was in a New Orleans cruiser. Not only could he not hit me, I was getting a citadel with every salvo. Bad day for him.
I enjoy Use, but it's more like 45/45 they left the remaining 10% out somewhere

This is an oddity i won probably 6 mos ago... Gave it a try, lost epically and havent touched it since. Unlike where you reinvigorated my interest in Roma, odds are Ise will continue to collect virtual dust...

Ise has low fire resistance and low damage reduction. So it is the perfect target for CV. And also, killing it gets rid of the fake bombers so that your fighters can take care of the actual CV.

Lexy is T8 and Ise is T7 and it should mean something. Not a valid compairson tbh
they are not just aa guns they are supposed to be 127mm dual purpose artillery and work as secondary
(but wargaming refuses to acknowledge that)

with that you get the reload down to 17.50s survivability gets decent and can stand up for yourself pretty well
you use bombers on lone DD's make their life hell
you shoot ap at everything but DD's
or if you see a BB using dama con you try setting him on fire but otherwise use ap
it's way more efficient even if you don't feel like it is
(btw these gamplays are how not to play ise)

Terry looked at what it does best, and chose to make it do that better instead of trying to compensate for every fault it has.
Yes, accuracy is hideous. Just sit back and set fires and hope dd doesn’t snake its way back to you. Dive bombers make it easier to use than the Tone.

The ISE now a days is a Questionable ship and a odd ship now, it was Fun and Good back Then but with AA Cruisers and now Massachusetts In Blitz with really Strong AA now her Aircraft is Unless Against, if you end up in Tier 7 Matching with a few Tier 6 Ships or if your Top Tier In ISE then you will get a good game in ISE, but if it’s Tier 8 Matching and you End Up Fight AA Cruisers when your bottom tier like Maya, Cleveland or Battleships with Good AA like Bismarck, Black Bismarck, NC, Alabama or worst A Massachusetts . That’s when you have problems and end up getting poor damage. I will say ISE is Decent Ship but Question is do you play her as BB or CV.

Ise is one of the best ships in my opinion and she is the only CV that has the guns of a BB but her airgroup is kinda weak and her bombdrops are inaccurate

@@cia8242 fuso does more damage than this thing. In fact, I’ve won brawls and snipes against Ise with my New Mexico, Fuso and Warspite.

I've done the Mino module last week. It does make the steering somewhat more susceptible to be taken out, but not a huge issue so far. The benefits are noticeable. I'll take a weakness I can compensate for with a damage control over a permanent debuff.
@@FunandGameswithTerry but next patch on dec 1. engine hp is reduced 25% for all ships and this module again 25% plus mino get cit hits from t6 cruiser thats why i was wondering
