I thought that had to be the Ripper. Truly enjoyed him with Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Beyond Fear, his solo work, side projects, and now one of my favorite bands of all time, Tourniquet. How cool.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS ALBUM! You guys ROCK! Tourniquet has been my fav band ever since I first heard you guys in 95 or 96, and without question, no other band has increased my faith, encouraged me, helped me to grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ! I can't stop listening to this song, and "Gazing at Medusa!" How is it that every album just keeps raising the bar, release after release, song after song, note after note, beat after beat, lyric after lyric? God bless you, Tourniquet and THANK YOU!

unfortunately my boss is the fartknocker who pushed the 1st dislike.😔😢😠after playing the song on full volume he was running like mad through his office and screamed "F💩😈k! still no release-date!!!". afterwards he threw some pencils against the wall. i'm afraid that i'm going to have a hard time until the album drops.🙁😓😔i guess the new Tourniquet-vinyl could cool him down.🙄☺🤗

Better sound than the last cd in 2012...Tim's vocals bring memories of the first album, still my favourite TQT cd. There are parts of this track that remind me of TQT at their best...Tim's vocals remind me of why I loved the sound when Guy and Gary interchanged vocals...

I'd sing this/develop this if I had the chance to show off my own superb abilities as a vocalist and soloist style bassist, all reflex, all underneath and following the vocal phrasing heard/felt.
TOURNIQUET, wow, super band I grew up with, now HUNTING THE ABYSS LORD.
17 years amnesia I had from Dec 1989 to Dec 2006, using the TIBETAN THROAT SINGING METHOD I took on after watching a documentary about TIBETAN THROAT SINGERS, and then suddenly facing the recall of my own DISABLING CRIME I faced as a 13 year old boy, and had been blocked from my mind, so I sang my way out of the trauma once recalled. Hard to explain how severe the sudden realization was.
Anyhow, I wrote all these songs and way back in the early 90's if I had only known how superb of a vocalist I would become at age 30, to then suddenly writing a flood of songs in fall 2016, to now here we are fighting the EUGENICS SCIENTIFIC BS THEORY Published & Marketed/Sold as a BRAINWASHING SYSTEM for the English Imaginary Royals treatment of INDIA and other colonies imposed the previous 200 years. So this BRAINWASHING SYSTEM CALLED EUGENICS is a published BS Scientific Theory/Claim sold as Canon and used like Canon to overtake and control others, sow fear and sorrow/shame/guilt/suffer into others, EUGENICS is the source of so much suffer/genocide/torture, rape and murder.

Where is the bass in the mix? The guitar sound great. But they would sound even better with a bass underneath
There's actually a ton of bass to be had there but RUclips doesn't capture the bass very well...I pre-ordered the CD and can confirm the bass is there, just barely present here on youtube is all :-) Even more bass when you use headphones!!!

I have to be honest...didn't really care for it. HOwever, I do like most of Tourniquet's music so I guess there had to be a song I didn't like every once in a while. I must say I do dig the technical breakdown part before the solo.
The music is great. I just hope Tim Ripper changes his style up. Not totally crazy about the vocals in this one but I probably just have to get used to them.
I think is totally different, if you listen the Extol and Tourniquet breakdowns, Borud is more melodic in those transitions, meanwhile Kirkpatrick is more technical.
It's understandable, Tourniquet isn't for everybody, they're like post-Max Sepultura era, Kekal, Annihilator or GWAR, you need to listen a lot their works to enjoy it.

You're wrong. Tim Ripper will sing in 8 from the 9 tracks of Gazing At Medusa. He only dont sing in the title track
Yes, that is true. Ripper Owens will sing in every song except in the title track where Deen Castronovo did the lead vocals. Ted has confirmed this.
