Why WOLVERINE Will Have VIBRANIUM CLAWS In The MCU

- Wakanda Forever has placed vibranium at the forefront of future MCU conflicts. From geopolitical threats to Kang the Conqueror, vibranium will continue to be pivotal. With Wolverine coming into the MCU in Deadpool 3 and hopefully Secret Wars and beyond. The question becomes if his adamantium coating will follow. Or if he will find a new metal alloy in in vibranium.

Hey everyone, Colton here, and welcome to ComicsAlliance. So, one of the oldest debates that has echoed throughout comic book shops for decades is the question of which fictional metal is stronger, Vibranium or Adamantium? [clip]
With Wolverine coming into the MCU, it may not be too long before MCU fans find themselves having the same debate. Can Wolverine claws cut through Cap’s shield or penetrate the suit of Black Panther? But that’s all assuming the MCU’s Wolverine has an adamantium skeleton, which he very well may not. [clip]
So, let’s talk about how adamantium could be created in the MCU. And which metal the MCU’s Wolverine will have on his claws and skeleton in the MCU [clip, ahhhh!]
Black Panther Wakanda Forever made it clear that vibranium is going to continue to play a massive role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it has for years prior. [clip]
In Wakanda Forever we see military forces attempt to steal vibranium from the Wakandans, which doesn’t go so well. [clip]
And then when using a newly constructed machine to locate vibranium across the globe, they accidentally came in contact with Namor and the Talocan. Which also doesn’t go well.
The film ends with Namor making the prediction that war is coming. And that the people of Talocan and Wakanda will need to stand together against the forces of the rest of the world-when they ultimately come for them both. [clip, they’ll come for you]
Now the film also revealed that the Wakandans are not the only people who came in contact with Vibranium all those centuries ago. The people of Talocan were also enriched by vibranium infused plantlife. And Namor himself credits a vibranium infused plant for his mutation. [clip]
So, with vibranium being the metal that Cap’s shield is made of, the material that Vision and Ultron were made of, the substance that created the power of the Black panther via the heart shaped herb. And maybe even the very material that the celestials are made of- great video over on ScreenCrush breaking that down by the way, I highly recommend it.
Point being, it’s clear that vibranium isn’t going anywhere. [clip]
So now we have to talk about adamantium. Most popular for its connection to Wolverine. [clip]
It has left fans wondering if the MCU’s Wolverine will have an adamantium skeleton and claws. Or, will they simply swap out adamantium for vibranium. [clip]
Not only is vibranium sought after for its strength and durability. But the technological and even biological advances it is capable of bringing to a society.
Have Wolverine be one of Wakanda’s examples of the horrible things outside forces would use vibranium for. Creating a weapon, Weapon X. An indestructible and virtually unstoppable person to carry out missions on people like Willaim Stryker’s behalf. Introduce him as an exploited mutant who could then be rescued by the people of Wakanda or even the MCU’s Professor X.
Now to be clear I don’t think we’ll be seeing the MCU’s new Wolverine until AFTER the Multiverse Saga is over, so not until Phase 7. We have Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine returning in Deadpool 3 and if there’s a god we’ll see him in Secret Wars as well. [clip]
And he of course will likely be sporting his fox universe adamantium claws. And we’re almost certain to hear Deadpool make a reference to vibranium and how once they get to the MCU they should stop at Wakanda and get Wovlie an upgrade. [clip]
Then we could see attempts made to synthetically replicate vibranium.
Imagine if one of the world's governments is able to get their hands on a small bit of vibranium so that they can analyze its molecular structure.
Theoretically they would be able to recreate a synthetic vibranium. And perhaps that is where adamantium will be born. Meaning in the process they created a whole new metal.
And this would make sense because in the comics, Adamantium is a man made metal.
Now after seeing what vibranium is capable of, especially in the realm of enhancing human biology. I’m curious what else adamantium could be used for beyond it’s sheer strength and durability as a weapon.
Perhaps infusing a biological organism with adamantium, a synthesized vibranium, could result in symptoms such as, rage. - Кино
I think you’re right. Adamantium will be the result of an attempt at synthesizing vibranium. I mean, if Tony can discover a new element, Shuri can synthesize a heart shaped herb, and RiRi can develop a “Vibranium Detector”…yeah Adamantium is not a stretch.
Sooo basically how it’s made In comics, sure, not a stretch
@@AngeloBx Exactly what I was going to say 😅
Adamantium will be what Thanos' sword was made from. That's why it cut through the vibanium shield
No his is made from Ur-Ru or how ever u spell what storm breaker is also made from
@@AngeloBx yes but adamantium in the comics is stronger than ur u. That's why wolverine toasted thor all the time
All they have to do Is to add a story line, That logan saved the young prince. Logan got seriously hurt. Striker would go and manipulate what's going on and their appreciation of logan . Striker would make him into Wolverine but with the vibranium. Striker would try to come back to get more Vibranium Years later only to be stopped by Logan. That's how I would explain it
There is room for both
Can’t wait to see who will be playing MCU Wolverine.
Hugh
1 of adamantiums qualities is it is highly toxic and doesn't mix with organic material like vibranium does. It's actually killing Wolverine, just very slowly.
Thats in logan, in the mcu it will not be poisonous.
@@redacted588 How do you know? That's comic cannon. Please tell me more, Kevin Feige.
@@kangtheconqueror9545how was task master a female in the MCU why tf do we have skaar
@@scar2377what
That is a HORRIBLY stupid concept. All the Wolverine retcons are TRASH...Making the adamantium radioactive toxic, brittle bone claws, making his adamantium coating his bones go from weighing 15lbs total to 305lbs have only served to WEAKEN the character
Well, being a fan of wolverine, Adamantium is killing him the only way he survives with it while he’s young is because of his regenerative features. Once he got older, it became dangerous to him and that’s why he was dying in Logan. So now, Disney owning the rights they might introduce this metal to the MCU and we can get an answer which is stronger, but wolverines metal is poison to humans and vibranium is not.
Thoght wolverines metal was from space rocks? But if we change Wolverines metal to that he could be even more dangerous the black panther. Pitcher a silent 5 foot Logan that moves faster, quiter and has full access to his mutant power. Don't think many would dare get too close to him now.
Being a kid of the 80-90's the random Randy Savage reference had me rolling. 🤣
Well from the last movie he has claws of bone. So they can put it in him now.
But if he had it in his body, where would that put black panther? How would that make him unique?
You're referring to The Wolverine? His claws got sliced off and his bone claws regenerated at the end of that movie, but his skeleton is still adamantium. Apparently that movie is either not canon or his bone claws got repaired because in DoFP, he had adamantium claws in the future and he had adamantium claws in Logan.
The study of the celestial that died in the ocean, and the mixture of vibranium with the mining of the celestial will lead to the creation of Adimantium
I think they should have both in Wolverine's storyline, like make it so that he realizes Adamantium has riddled his body with poison, which has finally gotten to his regeneration and immune system, like in the movie Logan. But he gets a second chance and somehow goes through with an operation to use a less poisonous metal like Vibranium to continue to live and fight. If Disney/Marvel/Fox decided to use this idea, I want some royalties. 🤔
They've already done this
Tbh I always thought the element Tony created in iron man 2 was adimantium since I don’t remember it being referenced as a name besides badassium in a novelization
No man......Wolverine begging story can't change.
Maybe it will Change lore and Adamantium will be a composite from Vibranium, Uru and some of the changed Material Out of Wandas Hex or the Metal from Thanos sword.
In my head-canon,
Vibranium is the most Versatile substance in the world
And the alloy of Vibranium to make Adamantium could make it nigh indestructible but has no other use. You can’t weave it, bend it, it can’t be used in renewable energy.
If Logan had vibranium instead of adamantium he would be much lighter and would absorb kinetic force allowing him to release it in multiple ways such as higher jumps or just punching really fricking hard.
Without the adamantium his healing factor would be a lot better as he’s not constantly being poisoned by it.
I thought it was well-established that vision’s three-billion dollars vibrillium body was kept at a s.w.o.r.d government facility for about 5 years if my memory serves me right. That would’ve gave them plenty of time to study and synthesize it.
Pretty sure Cap's Shield was well analyzed as well. The new Element Tony Stark made was referred to as vibranium but they scrapped it in order to introduce Wakanda. This would leave the window open for Adamantium existing before. Or it could easily just be introduced as Wolverine and Deadpool entering this universe with Adamantium and it gets copied.
I think they should, they have the metal from storm breaker as well!
They should give him an Adamantium and vibranium alloy
IIRC Adamantium was an alloy of high strength steel *and* vibranium. And Caps shield did show from signs of damage in The First Avenger, Civil War, and Endgame - where Thanos was able to break the shield using a sword forged from an even stronger material. So the MCU has already introduced a stronger metal. They just didn't name it at the time.
Uru
If you mean that Thanos' sword was made of Uru, the same metal as Mjolnir and Stormbreaker; you might be onto something there.
I wonder if they do do this, would they retcon Adamantium all together for this universe, and kind of make an Adamantium MCU vs Vibranium MCU? So the new Wolverine is past the events in Logan, and he hasn’t aged as severely because of Vibra. vs Adama. Most likely because of Wade at some point, I could see him dropping an anonymous brick of vibra. on someone’s doorstep.
I don't see the issue with introducing Adamantium. Because they should also introduce Carbonadium. Adamantium will be a Vibranium alloy, similar in strength. And then another country, maybe a soviet country makes Carbonadium... You know, I feel like I've read this somewhere... oh yeah, they should just follow the comic origins for these metals. No reason not to, and Vibranium needs something to compete against it. It'd be like having Superman with Zero Kryptonite, what fun is watching that.
Look like last year they already introduced the Adamantium
Like the idea, but adamantium equals Wolverine. And, vice versa.
It wouldn't be Wolverine. At least not the one we have all waited for.
In X-Men Origins Wolverine they make adamantium by using a meteorite found in Africa. Who’s to say adamantium isn’t a vibranium alloy in the Fox X-Men Movies?
Look like last year they already introduced the Adamantium, Taimut the dreaming celestial
I agree wolverine they will most likely have viberanium skeleton and how they could possibly do that is the same way wolverine got adamantium if you remember adamantium was found in Africa in wolverine origins so they could follow that and then when the military gets viberanium from wakanda or wherever they start weapon x program and wolverine is born(which I can’t wait for) great vid by the way
Or a vibrania alloy
Adamantium is a vibranium and steel alloy!
Adamantium is more dense so I am sure it can cut vibranium just like uru. Tho vibranium got so many beneficial qualities i'd say it def is the BETTER metal.
Not in a sword fight LOL....Vibranium is good for absorbing impact...but it can be cut right thru. It isn't truly indestructible like grade A adamantium
@@skarhead7597 I know but in general. Adamantium is a lot heavier.
Beside Groots husk is harder. It is confirmed. Nothing is indestructable.
Adamantium is a alloy , part vibranium
I expected adamantum will be synthetic vibranium.
Perhaps adamantium will be synthetic vibranium? It makes sense that the weapon x program would try to make vibranium because of it’s limited supply. So they make it and that’s adamantium. Just like they made Captain America, but the doctor was killed so they couldn’t repeat the process, exactly. (Oops, I typed this before the end of the video. 😁 great minds think alike)
Well Disney owns Fox, so I doubt wolverine will have vibranium claws, adamantium is coming soon enough.
I’m guessing it could also be Beskar or Mithril as well…
Uh nah
We gonna get vibranium-fatigue if they don't bring adamantium back
Considering we've seen vibranium break now I hope they do introduce adamantium as a new metal wolverine needs to be indestructible 🤘
They could easily spin adamantium as an alloy just like in the comics.
Or a vibrania
Ummm no… why on earth would they make some convoluted change when they can just be adamantium? Marvel Studios now owns the term so they can just say adamantium was created on accident trying to replicate Vibranium
6:27
But Marvel already own adamantium. Wold be completely pointless, and anti comics.
They can acknowledge it but what would be the point?
The World wants vibranian in the MCU they even tried to double cross Wakanda to get it and then they disturbed Namor trying to retrieve it from the depth of the ocean so unless they us it as an alloy of Vibranian it’ll be counter active to a whole plot that can be built upon.
lol. This age badly.
I mean the off shoot government would be best because the poisoning
No.
Adamantiam is stronger than vibranium period so vibranium cant be the strongest metal it can be the 2nd strongest.
Wtf dude the way u worded the title made it sound like u wer gona tell us y he WAS gona have vibranium not that u wer gona ask us if we think he will hav vibranium man.
NO ! NO ! NO ! NO ! NO !! We already have Captain America, Black Panther, Vision, Ultron, & even Falcon using Vibraniun...Vibranium is PLAAAAAAYED out in the MCU. We've waited WAAAAAY too long for MCU Wolverine..he deserves to be UNIQUE...and Adamantium is synonymous with Wolverine. Stop it.
Wolverine got his vibranium after he came in Japan where his adamantuim Steele is absorb by his Japanese friend that became his enemy.
Anti vibrainium
A few things. One: I was half expecting Namor to have adamantium instead of vibranium. Missed opportunity
Two: however, in Iron Man 2, Tony created a new element. According to the creators of the movie, that was supposed to be vibranium, but they changed their mind later on with Black Panther. Even though they retconned it, they never actually gave his new element a name. Is it at all possible that the element that Tony Stark created was adamantium?
I think that would be an easy AND fun way to introduce adamantium into the MCU
Idts, since Adamantium is a toxic metal. The new element Tony put on his arc reactor cured him of his Palladium poisoning from his old arc reactor, which is one of the properties Vibranium has, which is the compatibility with biological beings
Not the dumbest video but it is a video.
Thats one of the dumbest things i ever heard dogg, i would love to see wolverine slash caps shield with his adamantium claws i would never make that switch
So...will wolvy be able to absorb & shoot out energy?
If they plan to keep Wolverine's origins then the vibrarium concept wont-work because they'll have to make him a younger kid and then you won't be going through the war driven history that he has
Why? Vibranium has been around for centuries. And they can coat his skeleton anytime.
Hey guys, I am a long time fan and love your content. But i wanted to bring this up to you. Established Titles who you have ads for in Loads of videos, Has been outed as actually being FAKE and does NOT actually sell any Land for people to be viewed as Lords or Ladies, It is simply a fake scam that is called a souvenir plot, which holds NO actual legit utility. Souvenir title or souvenir plots are a commonly sold online good or physical gift set whereby a seller will advertise ownership of a small plot of land in Scotland, advertising that the buyer will obtain the legal right of ownership in Scots law and/or the right to style themselves as a noble lord (in Scots: laird) or lady upon purchase. However the purchase is of no legal effect and many commentators of the sales practice consider it to be a scam.[1] ALSO they Do NOT EVEN PLANT TREES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The MCU is dead
