wow, your channel has so much quality! helped me a lot
I'm totally hooked! Thank you great video :)
Man, i think the same about the clicky ones. But those Kailh Box White... Sounds incredible I can feel it from here.
Got this exact model and it’s amazing! First mechanical keyboard of mine and I absolutely love it!
M Crumb totally agree. I can’t type with the alphanumeric keys off centre, so I’d always have the nav cluster and num pad taking up all my mouse space. I got this same keyboard and fucking love it. Writing code feels so much better now that I’m not reaching around my desk to hit all the different keys
Are the switches loud? (compared to blues)
Squidward's Testicles hyssto
@@leoe3504 i know im late but if anyone is wondering the switches are quit loud you cant really hear them with a good heaset and audio playing but to the naked ear they are much louder than i expected but they are not obnoxious and i do love the sound

Great video!
Dang this keyboard has a lot more going to it that’s it’s initial visual impression. Never considered a 60% mechanical keyboard, but after this review may pull the trigger on it. Great review again.
Great video! I'm actually getting this exact keyboard soon, because my Corsair K95 wasn't really fulfilling my needs anymore. :)
Hey if you need a fast keyboard get the gk61 with yellow switches it’s perfect
@@Yersas. lubed my optical gk61 (not gk61x) with reds and wow, it's great. I got bit by the bug and now I'm waiting on parts for an ortholinear 40% lmao. But I do really like my GK61. I bought some "HK Gaming 9009" keycaps which I think are GMK clones? They're cherry profile, PBT, sound and feel very nice and like $40. Very nice legend too. No shinethrough though I consider that a positive and not a negative.
Just bought my anne pro 2 kailh box white switches today because of your sound test :)
Are u still using this kb? nothing wrong w it
@@user-hg5hr5mt3c Yes, nothing wrong with it tbh.
@@thekinodertotenzombi How about white switches? Are they okay?
@@M1strzu2115 I changed of keyboard like 3 weeks ago. The A key switch starded chattering and typing double and I didnt want to bother with soldering so I just bought a kemove snowfox hot swappable. Aside from that, the switches felt good to type on them but I couldnt handle the sound, too clicky for me
@@thekinodertotenzombi O nice I have just changed mind to buy Kemove Snowfox because of hot swap. I'm going to buy Akko CS Rose Red Switches
I have this exact keyboard in black it’s top tier and highly recommended
You prob crank some super epic 90s
Are white switches louder than blue cause I have blue right now and I want something a little more quiet
I've been using the corsair k63 for over 2 years now, planning on getting a 60% keyboard in the future too
It's gonna be a huge difference in size lol
@vypnx yep. With silent red switches. Its great. (Edit. Not this keyboard specifically but the ducky one 2 mini)
Is this, loud and interruptive in gaming and typing?
I just bought them waiting for them to arrive
this keyboard is great
this is the real asmr
Outemu red is best to white or not?
Cant find here in Europe where can buy anne pro 2 with kalih box white
Is the tap function a common feature for all/most 60% keyboard?
Don't think so. The ducky one 2 mini (the competitor) requires you to use the i,j,k,l keys with the function key.
are these loud?
i have this keyboard in black with the same switches and absolutely love the switches. never used clicky siwtches before but these kailh box whites are amazing.
1 note though. i ordered off of banggood and the box came damaged, the actual keyboard was fine though but be wary...
Got the same thing but the black version its very good but I'll probably switch over to the Ducky one 2 TKL and use either mx browns or blacks. The firmware is complicated and limited. Overall, amazing review
Nice video mate. I was thinking of getting one. Just wondering, is it hot swappable? I also don’t like clicky switches. But I’m considering to give the kaihl box white a try. Does the normal cherry caps with circular post (+) fit into kaihl box white shape?
You can get cherry mx red/brown/blue, and the equivalents from kaihl and gateron stock on this keyboard so you don't need to get clicky switches! And normal key caps will be compatible with this board :)
Hey I’m planning on getting it. Is it worth it? How do the switches feel? Like blues or like browns? Also how’s the rgb? Is it bright?
I recommend for u to buy white switches and the rgb is insane
ARE THESE LOUDER THAN THE MXBLUES? i’m trying to decide which one to get bc i want the loudest sound
The loudest is allegedly box jades.
Between cherry mx brown vs kailh box brown which one would you recommend overall and based upon tactility?
The reason I'm asking is because I purchased box white keyboard for my brother and although I personally loved them my brother didn't like them. He finds them too noisy and there's no way I can convince him. I want to purchase tactile switch keyboard for him which isn't noisy but is tactile. Gaterons aren't an option for me.
Awesome
Would you say that the Kailh Box Whites are good for gaming? I really like the sound and just wanna know if they'll be as good as linear switches.
Potato Water gateron browns are the way
Good as linear? That depends on why you like linear. Tactility weakens the upstroke. The clicky Kailh BOX switches do not have the sticking problem on the upstroke that the Cherry MX Blue suffers from, but they still have a weaker upstroke. The BOX Jade and BOX Royal push the weakness of the upstroke to the limit.
The BOX Whites have tactility similar to Cherry MX Browns, but the spring my be a little stronger on the Whites. They have a very interesting balance that I enjoy far more than I expected. They are easy to use without bottoming out the switches. But, being clicky, they will make noise. But, the click is quieter than the clack in some non-clicky boards. Not bottoming out the keys may actually make them quieter than keyboards with linear switches. But, if you stream, your headset may pick up these keys.
Personally I don't like Kaihl box white for gaming. This exact Anne Pro 2 with whites is my daily driver and I switch to another keyboard with reds or something for gaming. I am not familiar with mechanical keyboard terminology, but I am sure you are aware that the switches are clicky, and sometimes on the upstroke, the key stops registering even before you hear and feel the click, which could throw you off during gaming, especially if you are light on your hands. It has to do with Kaihl whites being a "click bar" kind of tactile mechanism.
Have the Anne pro 2 but with gateron browns but want to try out the white box
I like gateron browns! These are better though IMO. I want to try box browns now
im the exact same
Kailh blue or kailh white?
Ducky one 2 mini pure white with matrix pudding shine through double shot pbt keycaps
Are these switches tactile? I know they're "clicky" but wanted to know if they feel tactile
Yes it's a very sharp tactile bump
Thinking of purchasing an anne pro 2, any suggestions of which switches i should choose?
Daniel Panetta I think the one he uses in the video cause it’s the most crisp out of them all,but if u like clicker than get gateron blues and if u like smooth and soft clicks the gateron reds and the gateron browns are smooth and clicky
@@Attck. are you dumb? Browns aren’t smooth or clicky and neither are reds.
What is louder these switches or gateron blue
Gateron Blue for sure
These keycaps look different to other Anne Pro's I've seen, have they been updated recently?
yeah they did, sometime last year if I'm not wrong
Just the keycaps though as far as I know
If i have a keyboard with gateron brown switches can i switch to kailh white switches bc i dont really like how the brown sounds like.
Edit: i dont really know how this is work im just asking
You need to look up if the switches on your keyboard are hot-swappable (meaning that the switches are not soldered onto the PCB). If they ARE hot-swappable, you can buy a tool which allows you to take your gateron browns out and insert the box whites (almost like keycaps). If the keyboard isn't hot-swappable, you unfortunately can't do anything about it. Hope that helps!!
Kvaka Boti I dont think the anne pro 2 is hot swappable but i know a few keyboards that can be hot swappable but please note that do check that if gateron switches are swappable with kailh box as i am not sure either. So the ones i know of that can be hot swappable is the Tecware phatom elite, gk61, sk61 and the glorious modular and drop ctrl.
Are the box whites or gateron blues clickier? I don’t know much about the switches but im looking for something clicky
Get box whites 100%
box whites have a higher pitched click iirc
Mari Kurokawa
It is a completely different kind of sound. Whites use a thin metal rod smacking against plastic. The blues use a light piece of plastic slamming against plastic. The blue has a rattling sound to it.
I just bought this and bringing to work. Am I going to annoy my office mates? If so then that’s a plus lol
Try box navy switches if you really want to annoy people lol
Ren M. Or box jades
@David Cat why would they require a numpad? The numbers are on the top row too
I just wanna know what the actuation point is of the kailh box white switches, anyone know that?
It feels the same as every other BOX switch, which is around 2mm, if I recall.
Are Kailh box red switches better than Gateron reds or not?
Preference.
Should i get the variant with gateron blues or this?
This for sure
Are the white Switches the silver switches of the Anne Pro 2 Series?
Emilio Yap no
As he says in the video they're Kailh Box White.
May God be with you all!
Ok if got this same keyboard and the reason why you get the USB problem you have to buy a new cable lol yea the cable that comes with it is trash I got. New cable from best buy I got a type c to type c cable and it works flawless.. just make sure the cable is a charger and data transfer cable if not it won't work I figured that out the hard way also lol
Yeah I heard about the cable supposedly being shit. I tried a different one and I was still having the USB issue until I tried different firmware 🤷
Idk if it was just a coincidence but I'll look into the cable again if it comes back
Which cable do I need to buy?
@@wassimfouad the cable I got for mine is this one www.bestbuy.com/site/native-union-8-usb-type-c-to-usb-type-c-cable-black-white/5807909.p?skuId=5807909 now I don't know if you got a type c port on your computer but you can find one that is type c to USB
Surprisingly my cable that came with it is fine
nice
lemme just add this to my dream at up
I just ordered my ducky one 2 mini with these😳 I’m soooooo excited
What USB does this keyboard use??
usb type c
withered does it work on Xbox wired
Blurr Phantom yeah it does one end is type c and the other is type a so it can fit into a Xbox
Was thinking about getting box reds for this to use in the office. However the whites sound so good. Would you say they are as loud as mx blues?
Yeah they're about the same loudness IMO
I wouldn't use these switches in the office, it's way too loud.
The box whites sound exactly as a mouse click. Well on my case exactly the same sound as my Logitech mx master.
are these switches too noisy?
That's up to your discretion. They're clicky switches so there's an intent to have some noisy when you type
i have a g213
Between box white and box brown which one is more tactile?
The clickbar creates a different feeling tactility, a crisper feel. So, there is more to it than that. I suggest getting a key tester kit to try them.
Would this keyboard work good with gta 5?
No
All game
This keyboard doesn't have numpad ....
why not just set your keybindings in game to 123456 instead of f1 etc.
Some games use the number keys, like Starcraft.
@@Austin1990 but most of the time they are optional
@@benjapizarro981 That was just a single example. I know other games that use the number keys. If someone plays games, a 60% keyboard unnecessarily limits you.
His fingers are so fast
Linear or tactile ?
tactile
@Geo Esparza I’m new to the mechanical keyboard scene but I’ve heard this from other people:
if you want feedback, go with tactile.
If you want smoothness get linears.
Linears are better for gaming

Do you think its good for gaming?
there isn’t any good keyboard for gaming, depends on your style of typing shape of keyboard actuation force and looks, if you want a BASIC switch go for kailh reds cherry mx red or gateron reds
I think cherry silver are the best for gaming as they are very fast. But normally a linear switch is better for gaming. Cherry silver/red or also gateron yellow are nice switches for that I think
you got a f*cked up box..
