Thanks for sharing guys! A view of Cyprus we often forget. I just usually think of the country for its beaches and friendly people. Stunning. Would have loved to have cycled up those slopes. You just have to be patient with the figs mate 😉😂

What a fabulous village! I notice that some of the signs are in Turkish and not Greek. Is this because it was one of the abandoned villages on or near the buffet zone? I've recently been looking further into the history of Cyprus and, not wishing to get too political, I have to say that we British are very privileged to still be welcome in Cyprus! Efkharisto! The village is in the Turkish occupied North in the Kyrenia District It is now inhabited by settlers from Turkey and foreign "property buyers" mostly from the UK Like elsewhere in the north the majority of the population was overwhelmingly greek before being expelled fifty years ago. George tends to be liberal with the truth should it be from eating out in resturants or promotion of the north. I trust this provides you with some clarity
