Well, I remember all of her songs, I'm sure as hell she can. I can remember all the songs of every artist I listen to. So can millions of other people.
She's slows it down here, so that she can end with a bang. It's a really smart system...she opens with a ton of energy, then slows it a little, then has a big grand finale!
This is one of my favorite songs. The BBC radio version on RUclips is the best version. I love how soft her voice starts out on that version. This one good to though.
the earpiece isn't used for people to tell her the lyrics, it's used for her to be able to listen to her band and especially listen to herself, so she can keep in time. In everything has changed once, Ed's earpiece fell out and he sang out of time, it's so they can hear themselves sing and keep in time with the rhythm. Of course she can remember the lyrics, she wrote the song and she has a setlist, meaning she KNOWS what she's going to sing, so she can prep and memorize the lyrics.
How does that work? Someone telling you the lyrics, you have to listen to them, sing in key and play guitar at the same time? No, I don't think so. In one of her live performances, I forgot which one but it was the red tour, she forgot one lyric and she gave this adorable cute face and then moved on. Enchanted is a very very long song so she changed it up to fit the schedule for the tour. Because it's a "surprise" song, not many taylor songs are as long as Enchanted, Last Kiss, etc.
and keep in time with the band, she has said so in a previous interview. Her record label tells her to "listen to herself sing" when she sings live so she can sound as perfect as she possibly can i.e the earpiece. Also, when Ed sheeran's earpiece fell out, she told the crowd about it and Ed lost beat of the count, but guess what, he still sang the whole entire verse off by heart with no earpiece. All the earpiece does is allow the singer to keep in track with the band and to allow them to hear
Alice asked, did she forget the lyrics, for a verse, and here I get to let you in on a secret gift Taylor has that even her biggest fans don't know about her. Taylor has .... a photographic memory. So no, she like to play around on her surprise songs, sometimes. Like her awesome guitar riffs. On her Speak Now tour, she had 111 shows, and learnt 111 different songs, from artists for each city she was in, including the wordiest song ever written, 'Drops of Jupiter'.
this is the prettiest live song i ever heard. i was so happy she sang this for us. I would upload my video but my singing voice is not too pretty so.. i'll spare my embarrassment haha
she has a ear peice if you look closely you can see it i dont remember how it works it tells her the lyrics do you really think she can remember all the lyrics to every song be real with yourself she probably could remember cores on the guitar and i know how long taylors songs are
A ear piece is used so you hear yourself and not just the crowd. That's importand to sing in tune and hit the notes otherwise it gets hard because you hear the band and the crowd but hardly your own voice and if you're not like a really good educated singer, the chance to hit a wrong note is high... talented or not... but no one tells you the lyrics! If you really need that you get a small screen on stage and read it of...
She didn't forget the lyrics she just sang the song differently... probably because it's such a long song... but she did jam out on the guitar instead of singing the second verse and chorus
She sang it in a HIGHER key, so for the chorus, instead of going up she went down cause it was too high. I wonder if she wanted it that way or she forgot where she usually placed the capo.
Hi there! I'm with ABC News. Did you shoot this video- yes!? We want to share it on Good Morning America tomorrow. We will provide you credit. Please email jamila.huxtable@abc.com. Thanks!
there are different ear peices some of theme you can hear your voice through theme and others you can hear yourself and your band i did read about this do you really think she can remember all of her songs be real with yourself i do listen to her songs i know parts of her songs and i can't remember songs i wrote like for real you have no clue what your talking i'm not fighting with you
I'm sorry, but everyone can remember lyrics to songs they like very well. AND it's common knowledge that earpieces are used to hear yourself/your band to keep in time.
haha no. She can remember the lyrics because she wrote them. It's like saying an author wrote their book but two years later they completely forgot the characters, plot, setting and everything to do with it and their agent tells them what the book was about. As a singer/songwriter, it's her job to know the lyrics, she can remember them because she has sung the songs on her red tour 1092309189 times before, it's like remembering the national anthem to her: simple, clean and easy.
Really? because unless you read it off an actual article with Taylor's publicist's approval, It's not a reliable source at all. True Swifties know her, whereas strangers just see her as some person who dates everyone and doesn't know a single thing about her. She can remember the lyrics, and okay, maybe YOU Can't remember them, but just because you can't remember your own lyrics, doesn't mean every singer/songwriter can't remember theirs. The earpiece just allows her to hear herself.
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Ugh, it makes me smile eveytime I hear it!
I Love Taylor Alison Swift. ♥ She is our life. ♥ We can't live withoun Taylor Swift. ♥
This song is perfectly and singer is perfectly too. ♥

This was the best night of my life. I was right in front of the b stage
My favourite song
She's slows it down here, so that she can end with a bang. It's a really smart system...she opens with a ton of energy, then slows it a little, then has a big grand finale!
I love this. I tried to get a good video but I couldn't, so thank you!

"I was enchanted to meet youuu....too"

I was there in the beginning I was the green light on the bottom of the camera!!!!!!
Your camera is so good, its really good quality of her :)

Uma das minhas canções favoritas *-*

Wow you have a really good lense

She doesn't play this song every night. It was the secret song for that night. I guess a lower key just fits the acoustic version better.
No, I think she just chose to miss it out - she cut the song a bit, is all, and went straight to the instrumental & bridge ^^
And I'm in that vid
Which camera did you use? It's so so good!
This song is actually for Adam Young of Owl City
Do you happen to have a video of right before she started to sing this? She said I love you to me and I've been searching everywhere for a video!
She didn't forget the lyrics she just sang the song differently... probably because it's such a long song... but she did jam out on the guitar instead of singing the second verse and chorus
Don't even wanna know what kind of songwriter you are ¬¬ just because your memory is freaking bad, doesn't mean everyone is like you
She sang it in a HIGHER key, so for the chorus, instead of going up she went down cause it was too high. I wonder if she wanted it that way or she forgot where she usually placed the capo.
This was beautiful live, I was there !
Your camera zoom is AMAZING! Where were you sitting?

ABCNewsPermissions Hi! Yes you have permission. I will email you as well.

she's singing it in a higher key but just brings it down at the chorus :)
What camera did you use?
Nice camara :P
i think she cut it due to the show's duration
Anyone knows the chords during the bridge ?? Thanks
I'm sorry, but everyone can remember lyrics to songs they like very well. AND it's common knowledge that earpieces are used to hear yourself/your band to keep in time.
It sounds like she raised it a bit. Sounds a little higher
had she sang in the original key on every show, her voice might have deteriorated or something by now and we don't want that :)
haha no. She can remember the lyrics because she wrote them. It's like saying an author wrote their book but two years later they completely forgot the characters, plot, setting and everything to do with it and their agent tells them what the book was about. It was higher than normal
I want taylor who carried her guitar
she has a ear peice that tells her the lyrics do you really think she could really remmeber hers and other artists lyrics be real.
Except for the chorus where she lowered it
where was ur seat? :)
I just want hairflips, and her standing jumping ...etc.
=[
How come she changed the key of the song, causing her to drop an octave for the chorus?
no she sang in a higher key
Wow, you must feel like a fool. She actually sang in a higher key
She sang in a lower key I wish she pushed her voice more
what's the big deal? she just cut some of it off cause it's too long
She probably did it because this was more of an acoustic performance
She only preformed enchanted at Colorado it was for a girl in a wheel chair
Really? because unless you read it off an actual article with Taylor's publicist's approval, It's not a reliable source at all. did she forget the lyrics for the second verse?? :)
Pencilvaina
Please don't talk about things you don't understand
That is really bad for your voice. If she does it can make her voice look bad.
