@@BigJackFilms I'll have to check into those. I've got Mighty Kong on my list too but putting out videos isn't as easy when you write articles daily and a comic strip weekly. I envy you guys who only do a regular job and video content...and the ones who get to make video content AS a regular job.

King Kong Lives isn't that bad and has it's moments
i honestly liked this movie, i really don't understand all the hate it gets, it's by no means perfect but it's a good little underrated kaiju flick in my opinion

Fun fact: Toho wanted a rematch between Godzilla and Kong during the heisei era. In that film they actually would explain the Kong in the movie is little Kong all grown up as the new King Kong battling heisei Godzilla.
It was scrapped because of the legal hell of Kong at the time and was replaced with Godzilla vs king ghidorah

I have questions... Was that a real arrow (as in not a toy one) and if so, where did it wind up? I've fired real arrows that look just like that one at a camp before. (Think it might have been a winter camp somewhere around Orange County in southern California)
@@mattwo7 theyre real arrows with a rubber tip. The bow was homemade using pvc pipe. I build props for cosplay. Unfortunately my light broke in the process lol

Speaking of how this movie never got any press, there was a teaser trailer for this movie that was made before filming started (another one was made with footage but that was later), and showed footage from the first film and made it look like the film was gonna have a darker almost horror-like tone with a cheesy narrator suddenly appearing at the end saying "HE IS BACK AND HE IS NOT HAPPY!" (though what's hilarious is that there's a comment on an upload of this video that said "He was happy with his new girlfriend.").
Anyone else think it was kind of, well, awkward Lady Kong was played by a guy!? George Yiasomi, aka George Antoni! Obviously they couldn't get a woman big and strong enough to where the lady Kong suit, just a guess, did not mean to sound sexist! There's a stills image of Brian Kerwin and Linda Hamilton, sitting on the big fake Lady Kong, and goofing off, and there's this really cute blonde member of the Crew on the shoulder of the huge Lady Kong Dummy, I guess combing the fur, anyway I like the pic, always get a good laugh, cause Kerwin probably drunk or stoned, again just a guess, he's looking like a big scary monster and Linda actually looks really irritated!
This guy reminds me of Jacob from hot tub time machine!!
29:38-29:48 I'd like to see a fanmade crossover that puts these films in the same universe as the Heisei Godzilla films with an adult Son of Kong teaming up with an adult Godzilla Jr. after the events of Godzilla Vs. Destroyah along with Eternal Mothra Leo.
People act like this is the worst movie in history when it's actually not that bad. Just compare it to that South Korean update of *"Yongarry"* which was called *"Reptillian"* in western countries. I guarantee *King Kong Lives* is leaps and bounds better than that atrocity of a film.

I gave this film a 20 min chance it was pretty dull but the jungle looked nice King Kong Escapes, 70’s King Kong, King Kong Skull Island are better
This is just my opinion, but Son of Kong would've been a fitting title for a 3rd movie
