Buddy, seen you on Mikes channel so I came over to check you out. I like what I'm hearing and subscribed. Can you tell me the best time to visit THAILAND when one is not in competion with all the other visitors? I guess it is called the off season and I'm told prices are much cheaper and less crowded. Thank you in advance.
Welcome aboard! I thought Mike had put that up over a year ago when we filmed it. The best time to go to Thailand (I now live in Siem Reap, Cambodia) is, unfortunately the high season (November-March) which is when the tourists go as well. The weather is pristine. The low season is when they leave and those of living there breathe a sigh of relief except when I lived in Chiang Mai March is also beginning of the "burning season"'. When I lived there CM literally had the worst air pollution in the world during that time. So, your trade off is great weather vs rain. Yes, low season is cheaper with fewer tourists. I lived for a year in the Jomtien portion of Pattaya, which is full of Russians. Pattaya is Sexpat City and filled with whores and day drinking foreigners.
Well done. I lived in PP for 2 years, no complaints at all. Enjoy your new home where ever it is. I bought my motorcycle from Dara. I got my visa from Lucky lucky bike rental. I am not sure if LL still processes visas David Granger is a buddy of mine, he is a real-estate agent in SR with ISP. He is on you tube too. From Canada, be well
Great to hear you are settled in, as best you can. Yes, Dave and I were roomates in PP, great bloke. Tell him Dynomite Dave says hi. Informative channel, keep at it. @TheBuddyShowWorldwide
I am thinking of the same move.I totally agree with you on the visa points.I am in the South of Thailand.About 90k South of Hua hin.I would not even consider Phnom Penh.Bad stuff happened there.Siem Reap totally different vibe.I am looking at early next year for a move. Will go over next month for another reconnoitre.
I have not. But I've heard good things about it. For me, the visa situation, both cost and lack of hassle are one of the big reasons I am going to Siem Reap. Unless you want day-drinking and cheap hookers, I can't recommend Pattaya.
There is a downside to Cambodia’s visa being so easy. It attracts a lot of low-life old men who were unsuccessful in life, like due to alcoholism and personality problems. There is an invasion of “lager louts” for sure. Many have moved here from Thailand. They even have their own section of town. It is a street with many bars and plenty of bar girls. There has been some talk of Cambodia changing their visa rules to be more like Thailand. I am all for it.

Good to hear, Wayne.
Hi Buddy. -Marc
Hi Marc! I hope all is well. Humid AF here.
@@TheBuddyShowWorldwide Things are good. Cooling off here since it's the rainy season now. -Marc
I'm partial to Cambodia since i have many friends from there. It's very corrupt there, and the rule of law is loosely interpreted.
I would say is true in the other countries where I have lived. But, yeah. I've heard that.
