This is incredible. I love Abbath and he's a legitimate rockstar, one of the greats, but I was glad when he left. This album represented a true return to form to that frozen, blisteringly fast black metal that I fell in love with from Immortal when I was a teenager.

Ok so You are older then me. I am 36. at 24--25 sometime i realised there is a good background power. Also things became worse too at 25 to 26. The good background power does not engage in conversations with me does not talk even if for a short few answers. So This might be very similar with you. that you have not much conversations and your conclusion would be or could be that Some dark rules. And some of your musics lyrics are kind! Actually i found black metal not so long ago and found Morgul band based on a name Morgul i wanted to give to a perfect Dark cult dark refinement artist. I call it so because we are we and nature is nature and some are just followed who were set there to do plannings over the dark things in our lives as well.. those people are just followed and some of them are like Morgul but there is a hierarchy.. the band Morgul is way softer sounding though.
Is it a copy ? I hear nothing new. I heard this kind of sound back in 1997 when Sarcófago band was born here in my city. Maybe these guys from Immortal wasn't still born at that time.

Immortal died when Abbath left. I appreciate this album but it's nowhere near as good as the OG immortal albums.
