As a GD Player seeing a Minecraft player respect someone from another game as their passing is something im glad to see and something you don’t see often

I think the best way to have a build survive is to build something that people will feel bad about messing up. Memorials are probably good ways of doing this

1:19 "whatever the hell this thing is here" yeah, It's the art of Pope John Paul II, which is one of the most famous memes in Poland and is here a representation of our country (instead of flags etc.). At some point (4:05) he even had the caption "John Paul". It was built by a group of amazing people met on the server: Koszi_, _ANonIME, command_bread, Elynox, Growing_Grass, KoszeTrawe, Piterix, xDmuffinx and Bloczek_2K.
It was a really great experiment and I'm glad we managed to survive these 7 days. Thank you for this event and as a John Paul II team we intend to participate in your future experiments!

I'm pretty sure that the Madeline from Celeste is the longest lasting build, you can see it from the start of day one to the end of day seven, all that happened to it was Badeline was added and there was a change of background but that's it.
i love how the people building the NF logo survived until the missing textures gang eventually killed it, mister epic not even batting an eye 😂

It was really fun to take part in this experience. I was here all along.
I'd like to mention some things about the void, just for the soul purpose of giving more context.
People didn't like us, and I understand that. So, they got ahead and griefed as many things as possible with void blocks just to get in trouble. And in big trouble we got.
Even if this was pretty devastating at the time, it was really fun :)
I enjoyed my stay.

The massive NF logo surviving almost the entire time makes me happy.
For future reference could you keep the time in the world set? The flashing of the day/night cycle was very distracting, and for those with epilepsy it could be a danger.

7:58 that gif is a meme in the osu community (also appeared in r/place 2022), the context is that a really impressive score by the arguably best player in the game's history, cookiezi was worth 727 points in the performance system, and some years later, a player called aireu also got the same amount of performance points that cookiezi's score got in one of his plays, so he started pointing to the screen and saying "WHEN YOU SEE IT"

4:30 I'm pretty sure that's not "a larger pac-man", assuming you're talking about the large yellow circle on screen. I'm pretty sure that's actually the vault symbol from the Borderlands series. Notice the red triangular shape and border around it that makes it look less like pac-man?
I find it funny how accurate the timing of Spamton NEO's head being fit in is to the actual r/Place, being put in the latter half of the event and even near greenlattice.

I am the creator of the LEGO logo and it was so damn hard to protect, I made it to day 4 or 5, but I was fun seeing it in the timelapse

Man this was an amazing experience! I made the giant michigun/michi memorial and the anime girl (Emilia) at the top right corner with others. I like that people didn't try and greif michi that much. It was still very annoying to protect as I stayed up all night twice. I'm very happy with the final product and im hyped for whats to come!

The first gif from the QR code is an OSU meme called "727 when you see it"
Osu is the big pink circle in the og r/place. It was heavily griefed in it but stood it ground very well.

I'm amazed how long my build actually lasted and how little it was actually griefed throughout the whole experiment. Granted someone messed with it a bit within the final 5 minutes (bruh), at least 95% of it remains intact, which is good.
I was constantly juggling between my online school and the livestream for the duration of this experiment, logging on as soon as I saw someone tampering with builds like pac-man, emilia, ukraine flag, my build, etc. Fun experiment but MAN did my exhaustion levels peak that week.

The bottom qr code was a me-qr and a rickroll. i think misterepic clicked something on the me-qr one that brought him to mitrade. or someone changed the qr code to a new one. the qrs both survived at the end as they survived 30% griefing. The top one was WYSI and then ukraine donation.

The bottom one was a rickroll and the top one was the WYSI thing (a person pointing at a screen)
If it wasn't a rickroll or WYSI, it didn't work. QRs can maintain up to 30% damage. If it wasn't either of those, then someone changed the QR which happened 2 times.
THE TOP ONE WORKED EPIC IT WAS UKRAINE DONATION ;-;
