Came here after seeing the cover. Mine is badge no 60 , 2002 MY bought on April 12th 2003 as brand new from Mangalore show room,Tribhuvan fiat.Still show room fit.Probably among very very few 1st hand owners still maintaining this rare car.Even Amit Raisinghani who was the voice for S10 owners( those times) has sold his S10.Mine has clocked one 1 lakh + kms.Registration number plate also 10( got with great difficulty).Bought for 4 lac 72 k ex show room.This car is a pure joy which will make you hate it sometimes and other wise you just fall in love with it.My S10 will go to grave along with me.
Great to hear your story, Ejaz. Like you pointed out, it's very rare to find a single owner S10 these days. Sadly most of the original owners have sold their cars and moved on.
Amit's S10 has changed hands few times. It's in North Kerala now.
We've someone like you in our group. He has all the memorabilia that came along with the car (cricket bat, certificate, keychain, Sachin's biography etc).

I had a Palio 1.2. GTX, Really sturdy,with excellent build quality, plastic finish was bad,doors close with the feel of Merc,those days it had the most powerful company fitted headlights italian,blinding high beam,bulbs were H5 or so,wipers were RHD style ,Rear silencer life was very bad, had to replace twice in 4/5 yrs especially if use is less ,lower arm started making noise at 35000 kms even with careful use

Badge 10 has driver airbag and abs. It was in kerala for a brief period. Badge 10 was actually registered to Sachin's brother. Few s10s came with 5 spoke alloys different from the rest of the lot.. Alloy design which was shown in the brochure.

@@jithu2693 Diesel 1.9 is very hard to maintain.. not sure if the parts are available now.. something or the other keeps on failing after 1 lakh kms.. but the feel of the engine is as new even at 1 lakh..
