In my experience, 1st ADs, directors and producers GET ABSOLUTELY MAD when they see the frame thru video assist or monitors and GOSH RELAX IT'S NOT THE FINAL IMAGE NOR A 1/10 OF THE IMAGE QUALITY THE CAMERA IS ACTUALLY RECORDING Sorry for shouting i'm perfectly calmed now
This week i was gaffer on a night set, we were shooting on a RED Gemini, and the DP Tolled m: just turn a Flex light to 100% and bounce it into the trees to give the charakter fill and we walk in front of the Charakter. so yeah wouldnt have lit like this on most other cameras ^^

I’m glad this has been said. I didn’t want to have to be “that guy” although it needed to be done hahaha
What the hell are you talking about, can someone explain :D
Petar Petrov Affect is usually a verb, and it means to impact or change. Effect is usually a noun, an effect is the result of a change.
Petar Petrov they could have titled the video, “do cameras and lenses have an effect” and it would have been right.
@@justinthompson5718 Ah cool, I thought it's some new lightning technique.
AFFECT!
That chair need WD-40 😁
