I noticed they all have the right shoes for the job, Whats on your feet is important for those long shoot days lol.
It's quite interesting to see that even on larger productions, the feelings and thoughts I have on my tiny productions are more similar to the industry standard than I originally thought. I'm going to try and lean into the "differently right" mindset more often haha
Best way to start to morning. Gets me ready for a day full of learning about film.
Same over here. having breakfast watching this. keep up the work! :)
Wow to think that the experts still struggle with the same things that beginners struggle with is liberating. The complexity of filmmaking towers over us all
Always interesting to hear from the pros
i SO admire gavin finney. i'd say he's in my top 3 cinematographers: philippe rousellot, john mathieson and him.

most important bit, espacially if youre not the dp. if its not your place, dont say anything. even if you think you have the answer or something is going horribly wrong.
if youre not a head of and you have an idea, go to your head of, he/she will tell you why youre wrong, or give your advice to the people who need it.
We need the full interview
Awesome
Anyone know which scene of which movie the thumbnail is from?!
👍 wisdom!
Was this filmed before covid ?
I think subtitles/lower third is too small, name and description can't read properly 🙏👍👏
if you make a mistake.. tell them you did it on purpose then make up a steller reason why you went with that
If this is the full interview, my dude on the right wanted to speak so badly.
