    What's so impressive is that she really makes this song her own. She even ads some things that Danny Carey wasn't doing. Those ghost notes on the snare for the part that starts at 1:57 are things of beauty and they weren't in the original. They work, they support the vocal, and they're incredibly precise. She makes the groove sound more intuitive and rock n' roll throughout the first half.

      @slowbluesmaster Год назад +13

      From the song's Wiki page
      "The song is mostly in 4/4 time with some sections of 7/8 in between. In the intro, Danny Carey plays four measures of 7/8 on his ride cymbal over the rest of the band playing in 4/4, and they all meet up on the downbeat of the 5th measure in 4/4. During the bridge there are three measures of 7/8 followed by one measure of 4/4. During a particular quad fill, the drums are in 3/8, the guitar plays one measure of 9/8 followed by one in 5/8 all while the bass keeps time in 7/8.[6] Most of the song is written in D Phrygian dominant scale, also known as the fifth mode of the G harmonic minor scale."

    UP されてから10数回聴いて最初の感動から更に深まっています。元々JAZZ一筋の私がYOYOKAファン歴6年でしたが正直JAZZには無いロックの魅力をこの曲で初めて感じさせてもらいました。曲の持つ魅力を極限まで引き出す技術、感性、体力を見事に獲得されましたね。

      Translation : koma- 1122
      I've listened to it more than 10 times since it was uploaded, and my initial impression has deepened even further. I've been a YOYOKA fan for six years, and I've always been a jazz fan, but to be honest, this song made me feel for the first time the charm of rock that jazz doesn't have. You have masterfully acquired the technique, sensibility, and physical strength to bring out the charm of the songs to the utmost.

      Yeah. We were kind of joking about her power and strength.
      Any boy would be over the fence. Pow!
      Now they are just ' Head over Heals' (expression) infatuated.

    • @davidmacphee3549
      @davidmacphee3549 11 месяцев назад

      うん。 私たちは彼女の力と強さについて冗談を言っていました。 男の子なら誰でも柵を越えてしまうだろう。 捕虜! 今、彼らはただ「ヘッド・オーバー・ヒールズ」(表現)に夢中になっています。

      So the translation from English to Japanese and back to English prints this way.
      "Yeah. We were joking about her power and strength. Any boy would jump over the fence. POW! Now they're just into "Head Over Heels" (expression).
      Anyway, Yoyoka is doing very well learning English. She is Awesome!
      The original wording is as if she had to stand up to a danger boy he would be over the fence before he knew what hit him. Pow, Next time Fella, strait to the Moon, Wham Zoom!

    • @davidmacphee3549
      @davidmacphee3549 11 месяцев назад

      したがって、英語から日本語への翻訳、および英語への翻訳はこのように印刷されます。 「ええ。私たちは彼女の力と強さについて冗談を言っていました。男の子なら誰でもフェンスを飛び越えるでしょう。捕虜!今、彼らはちょうど「ヘッドオーバーヒール」(表現)に夢中です。とにかく、よよかは英語の勉強がとても上手です。彼女は素晴らしいです ! 元の文言は、あたかも彼女が危険な少年に立ち向かわなければならなかったようなもので、彼が何が彼に当たるか知る前にフェンスを越えてしまうだろうというものです。
