Thanks for the great review! I’m actually looking into this Batmobile because I’m looking for something that I could modify into a radio controlled vehicle. The 1/10 scale RC Batmobile of this car will fit on an on road 1/10 scale hobby grade chassis from what I’ve seen in another video, but I don’t want that because the on road chassis is only good on smooth surfaces. I need some thing that will do jumps And be able to go on uneven surfaces because I’ll be driving it on the street and sidewalks. So something this big will do the trick and I’ll probably try to mount it on a stadium truck chassis with some modifications, of course. I don’t expect it to fit right on. Will have to do a lot of cutting. The engine does look goofy, but I’ll probably paint some detail on it and will be installing lights to make the whole car look more realistic. Have a lot of stuff planned in my head. For my 6” figures I’ve modified RC vehicles from WPL by opening up the doors and cutting out the interiors and I’m able to fit a 6 inch figure inside. I have some videos on my channel on a mock A-Team van I made for my Mr T figure and a mock Toyota FJ40. They are ok but slow. My vision for this will be something much faster and durable. As badly articulated as they are, I’m thinking that one of the 8 inch tall Mego Flashpoint Batman figures might fit better? For me I’m not worried so much about the articulation. I collect 6 inch and 12 inch figures but I think scale wise the 8 inch might work. The flashpoint figure looks kind of decent in my opinion. I kind of don’t like the “ghost rider” RC vehicles driving around without a figure, hahah! Thanks again for the in-depth review. Your review is convincing me that I need to get one of these Batmobiles!
I agree the Batmobile is for the 7 inch figures scale-wise more believable. The problem with even the cardboard stop they all look like reclining all the way back with the seat all the way adjusted back for smaller sized passenger and driver figures. The modification needed now would be a seat redesign with the same scale Batmobile. I didn't buy this vehicle (but should have probably). I didn't like the vehicle to 12 inch Batman figures ratio and custom seats redesign work would be needed to make this vehicle be more 7 inch figures believable. Thanks for showing this. 👍
@@dHuntersReviews ... Plus a steering wheel something. We have Robin and many Batmans but the vehicle is supposed to be an early years Batman as the age of Pattinson's looks (I enjoyed his side teeth clenching comic book looks). I think it looks the best for the money and size,I got it for my 3 year old godson for Christmas and cant wait to see his little face when he opens his gift.
I know this is an old question but hopefully this info helps. I actually emailed back and forth with Mattel and they were very firm that it would never see a US release. It's actually $87 with free shipping to US right now from UK. About $95 with tax for me. I'm going to grab the 1:10 Rc for around that price instead.
Great review dhunter, as usual. Amazing "1:12" batmobile collection. I only recently found out about Mattel's Justice League movie master batmobile in the 1:12 scale and I was wondering if there as a batman v Superman dawn of justice version and if you own a copy. Would you have any recommendations other than ebay for finding some of this older stuff?
19:04 Im fairly sure the mattel batmobile incident from the 2000s put designs like that one on a no-go list at larger scales (at least in domestic retail) for a while. but who knows maybe things have changed since then or they'll come up with a way to make the giant wings less pointy/large. Love that car if they ever make another one id be first in line
There’s actually only one seat in the Batmobile from the Matt Reeves movie. There’s engineering with canisters and controls for the car since the engine along with the afterburner is sat in the rear end of the car.
@@dHuntersReviews They relaunched mego and their new Batman and Flash point Batman I think would work with this car. Looks like you have to order this from Japan though because I'm not finding it in the US. Love the review. Looks like a great car. The only draw back in my opinion is the one for the 4 inch scale figure has electronics and is reasonably priced.
Unfortunately it's too big for 12" figures and too small for 7". I was shocked to see how much bigger it is than the Spin-Master comic based Batmobile (the with the yellow eyes on the front). That's the one I use as my default comic batmobile. I personally don't really buy movie based stuff, so I can pass on this one. But I do like the look of it.
I have the Hot Wheels and I feel that one fits McFarlane just fine. I've been meaning to customize it and have seen videos of other customizers do just that. This one was way too expensive to be bought here in the U.S. for what it is.

This would work as a model, RC car, the shell is quite big
@@dHuntersReviews good to know! Thanks again for the great review.
Measurements at 8:28 Thanx!
Nice call out
(I've always been curious about the scale of the Bat mobile, but your review is helpful!)
About this one?
It looks like they used leftover buzz lightyear parts for the face. Haha. The car looks cool though
Luckily, I didn’t get this for the figure!

I'll keep saving for the hot wheels rc
I’d like the $500 one, but not worth it

Yes I have the $100 one

Lol! Well done
Damn, wish I knew. I have one for sale, still in its original pack.
I need a second one for my unopen collection, just don’t want to pay as much so I only got one
Need to track this down. The New Marvel Select Blade. Would look good in that ride.

Funny, the 12 inch batman actually looks alot like adam west

Height?
It can convert into RC as use the body for it.. but dislike the back engine as can scatchbuild car boot cover for it..
You mean modding it?
Hot wheels rc still the better choice even at its current $106 price. You should just bite the bullet and cut the doors.
