They're pretty fun live. They perform skits with each song that relate to the movies they're about. And yes, every song is about a specific horror movie. Meat and Greet (Silence of the Lambs) Hip To Be Scared (American Psycho) The Shower Scene (regular Psycho) Stabbing in the Dark (Halloween) you get it lol.
This music video is a really bad intro to this band, especially for someone who doesnt like music videos. They are absolutely great live and to be honest every other music video isnt as intrusive.
@@ashlenamusic almost, they released special editions of the album with DVD and Blu Ray of the videos because they connect and are like a movie, rock bands have been known to do concept albums and make movies to go with the album like Pink Floyd-The Wall , The Who-Tommy, Michael Jackson did it with Moonwalker
Ice Nine Kills songs are influenced by horror movies so the music videos are important for the feel and to truly understand unless you are well versed in horror movies
I9K kills..... No pun......ok......maybe a little pun. Watch Grave Mistake. It's about The Crow. Ice Nine Kills entire library is literally based on horror films and all things related. They are amazing.
Although this is the first song on the album, this music video may not have been the best place to start. A little bit of background: INK's last 2 albums have consisted of songs that are all based off specific horror movies. And the singles from each of those albums also have music videos based of the corresponding horror movie, but they are wrapped inside an overall narrative, which is the whole court case/masked killer stuff at the beginning and end. Welcome to Horrorwood is actually Part 6 in that connected music video storyline, since the singles were released in a different order to the album's track listing. The whole album is great, so I'd recommend checking out the songs on their own without all the extra story and sound effects etc in the music video for a first time listen through if the music is what you're really here for. But the music videos themselves are also great if you know the movies they're based off too. So up to you! Sorry for the wall of text. INK are one of my favourite bands so just want to try help make sure you have the best experience possible 😅
I had already commented on patreon but I listened to the full album, I love it it’s just been a while since I’ve listened since I usually save it for spooky season, and I said not all of them are theatrical but I lied cause there’s theatrical elements in all of them lol some less than others. I know you like to dive into lyrics but this is a band where they might not make sense if you’re not familiar with the movie it’s based on. They put in references, quotes, get really creative with phrases, easter eggs etc. Idk if you’re a fan of horror movies or not but just a heads up in case you look into the lyrics and you’re like wtf is this? 😂 it might help to look up what movie each song is based on before listening so you have an idea of what it’s about. I’m a huge fan of horror which is a big part of why I love them. But I also find their music to be really creative cause they all have different vibes. So we’ll see how it goes when you listen to the album!
I wanted to see the video full-screen so I searched the name and the first hit took me to the censored version which is what you are reacting to. The next video that followed was the same except that it's UNCENSORED. All those things that were hidden behind the red "CENSORED" are shown in the uncensored version. Probably the most interesting part of the whole video was watching the guy's head explode at the very end. It reminds me somewhat of the Quentin Tarantino film about vampires, "Dusk to Dawn.": "Ice Nine Kills - Welcome To Horrorwood (Official Music Video) - Uncensored" (ruclips.net/video/kI8OlBF8nHw/видео.html)
It's easy to love ur channel. And your family. You're awesome. Please. No more smoking in Canada. We cannot breathe in Michigan. Seriously. It that bad. . At least give me sum elk steaks. Or half of Russia.
Judging by your reaction, it doesn't seem like you're a huge horror fan 😂 I am, and fucking love this band. More recently during the live performance of this song, the singer Spencer gets out into the crowd and stands up on everyones hands. I got so lucky when I saw them a couple years ago to on the right side of the crowd, AND got a video from my POV while he finished up the song 😅 amazing concert. The theatrics really pay off live, they have costume changes and props and it's so much more than a concert. Even the music videos, which I know you hate regardless, gotta respect the production and the thought going into their storytelling, and also just how much love Spencer has for the horror genre ❤🔪 Hope to see you listen to more! Even if you don't like any of the horror stuff, maybe you'll find one song you enjoy the tune of haha
There are so many better songs on this album than this. Even if you just listen to the music and not the videos. Funeral derangements, assault and batteries, rainy day, a rash decision. So many fire songs on this album to write off on one intro song.

That’s cool!
NOT BAD !!! DEFINITELY A GOOD DEPICTION OF HOLLYWOOD.... I LIVED THERE FOR A WHILE ...ITS CUTTHROAT , DOG EAT DOG !!!
I bet!!

It’s a concept album that tells a story so the music videos are important, watch the Silver Scream album music videos in order and you will get it
They did a video for every song?? Jesus

Ha good to know
Youu actually have to watch the music videos for this album in a certain order for the story to make sense. You just watched the 6th one.
I’d rather just listen to the music

Hey... did you really remove your Rammstein reactions?....
I just put them back. But not sure if I’ll be doing anymore
