Loctite the motor mounts & coupler set screws or it will come off runing it on the second time...ask me how i know! :) Also manual does not say anything about what lipo to use. Nothing. ONLY thing that talks About the recomended lipo is online ads... but on the end it's a Nice RC boat... Catamaran selflevel...which actually works. One last thing 75km is not true. It makes 53kmh out of the box with a Graphene 4s lipo... And with a bigger prop (drilled to fit) like a 42mm 2Blade CNC it makes 56kmh. No more! ;)

I just got this as a gift. I'm not a modder. It's my second RC boat. 1. What Prop would you recommend to upgrade to ? 2. Is it safe to run the boat on 5S or 6S with regular breaks and not full throttle ? I'd like to try getting the rated speed. Will weights in the front of the sponsors help keep boat little more stable and little more speed ?

@@MaxPower-zp7wy Keep using the stock prop... Normal props need to be mod to fit this boat in stock form. I changed the litlle bearing system to a simple 4.75mm Flex shaft. Way more eficient then the 4mm stock crap that seize the bearings on the 3 run...even greased! You can use 5s on stock esc or even 6s... But will blow up cause its an rtr esc and maybe a 50a esc? Boat wont do the 75kmh advertised.... I run a 120a with a 1900kv inrunner motor, stock is a 1750kv outrunner that will blow up on 6s use also...and max i get is around 65kmh.

What happened to the video of the SR85 Catamaran ? Was Nik advertising it for EXHobby, then they found out it won't do 75kph ? One unboxing video! No explanation as to why the video of it running has not been made. Give me some answer Nik please ? we were expecting a video of this. If not Nik, can someone please explain from EXHobby or Volantex what we need to do to get our advertised speed ?
