I'm running a 120 Amp Flycolor ESC with a Leopard 3660 X2 Motor, 2650kv on Turnigy nano-tech 2650mah 6S 45~90C battery, with a 2 blade 40mmx1.6 pitch propeller. Crazy fast & stable. Has reached 70km & more ;-) I also changed the flex shaft to 4mm, and replaced the plastic strut & rudder with aluminium.
Careful, my ESC split in 2 on maiden run, fixed it with some waterproof tape easy enough. On 4s the ESC was getting over 200 degrees fahrenheit. Put a Seaking 90amp, programable, reverse, proper LVC/limp mode, will run on 4s all day now. Love your channel.

Hello i think that i need to have an extra boat for rescue if it flips over. But my question is that if I can make any modification to the boat so it can flip over or it will never flip over like self righting how much probability is that it flips down?

Fortunate for the wind to blow the capsised boat back to you. Google's 'self righting RIB,' images show full-size RNLI lifeboats with bouyancy bags atop what in car terms would be a roll cage. Four holes, two glass fibre rods curved into 'U' shapes and some zip ties would hold a closed-cell foam float (-- smallest pipe lagging/bubblewrap .. .. ). With low CofG it would self-right. It could be made to look like it belonged there and save yourself a wait/calling your buddy or going home to get a rescue boat .. ..The flexy propellor shaft is probably a tightly wound spring similar to those used on garden strimmers or holding up my aunt's net curtains. Reverse the drive and it would undo and lock solid in the guide tube. ps Compared to quads/cars/planes, .. boats are pretty simple in electrics and engineering .. .. so does anybody think they all are just a mite over priced?
U could take one of your boats that self-righs with u and use it as a rescue boat.

Hello it's an amazing boat but it has a big problem it doesn't have self flipping or righting you have to get in the water to turn it over yourself that's annoying

Yes it sure is fun, FPV be a little bumpy for me, like you say waterproofing could be awkward

Hmm. It's nice enough, fast and reasonably well equipped. But it will never replace a proper boat as it has no big white flappy things.....
RC sail boats are quite cool I like ww2 battleships with Airsoft guns on them for RC war make them from balsa and thin vynal so the BBS will hole them and you can have wars with friends 👍
