This video found me in a state that I needed it the most...I've been dignosed with depression, anxiety and I experience panic attacks....and it's HARD. What makes it more difficult is that at the Mental Health Clinic I went to they said that I can only get a chance to have an intervention with a Psychologist in November because it is fully booked....I can't afford a private consultations...What other ways can I find help???
Hi Palesa, I'm really sorry to hear that. It's really difficult because gaining access to mental health services can be difficult at times especially within the public sector. Maybe it might be helpful to make use of Telehealth services such as SADAG and they also have support groups you can join. Alternatively, you can try contact private practice practitioners that offer reduced rates/ work on a sliding scale.
@@PsychIRL Hey thank you for replying....I did contact SADAG,FAMSA and other groups but they say that they cannot consel me, they just help people by reffering them to a right direction (steps to take to find a psyc)
