Please if you can checkout all the creators I mention in the video they really create some of the most coolest stuff when it comes to Jojo content and they deserve so much support for all the work they put into the content they make.

I don’t think there’s any other manga that mixes wild, bizarre events with shonen action and themes this good. I love Jojo, and all the talented people shown here make me glad to have found it when I did.
You may like Dorohedoro.
@@lucas2.061 or golden kamuy
I lost interest in most battle shonen but not Jojo. It's too unique and special for me
I watched dorohedoro and baki. These two shows felt like good replacements after I had seen basically everything jojo had to offer
May I introduce you to one of the big three: Bleach.
Yeah, as every community, we also have bad apples, quite annoying stuff ends up giving us a bad reputation.
Some people just can't see others having fun.
Great video dude
I feel your pain man, I feel it
You just explained why the MHA anime was hated in 1 sentence.
@@regular_noobss pretty much
@@regular_noobss yup, apparently you can't like a series because there are other people who like it and they do and say jacked up stuff , so that means you cant like it
Every community has bad apples but the things that people hate on the JoJo community for aren’t even bad. People don’t hate the JoJo community for the bad apples they hate us just to hate us is the truth 🤷♂️.
Bro, Jolyne's INTRODUCTORY SCENE has her getting off in prison thinking about a guy who looks like Tom Cruise. That one shot is not only cool and creative, it's totally in-character. Imagine being that insecure about a fictional character's characterisation you need to send death threats and damage your own community to cope.
No she got off by the moon. She said she got caught doing it by the guard
Also who u referring to at the 2nd part of your comment?

I'm currently 34 and always loved Jojo since I discovered it back in my elementary school library. I don't care if I'm 50 or 100 I wanna live to see how far this series goes and what new stories be created
Dayum! Now that’s a long time fan!
Wow, that’s some dedication.
They allowed you to read it on an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBRARY. They Must’ve thought it was just another action comic
Fr jojo is the real bible
That was a joke don’t take offense
Man I cried at the end just thinking about how much jojo changed my life in so many different ways this video is truly a masterpiece and I will always remember the good times I had watching and reading jojo

The absolute shock I had when I saw and heard the "to be continued" in jjba part 1 was absolutely hilarious
BROO FR. I GREW UP HEARING IT SO MUCH AND TO FINALLY FIND WHERE IT CAME FROM WAS like kars finally conquering the sun
When I first saw JoJo's Bizzare Adventure I though it was weird and wacky and wasn't gonna do it for me, but then a hero named Jonathan Joestar popped up on screen he taught me courage and selflessness. I make better desicions because of it. I stand up for myself and speak louder. JoJo has really did something to me that I will never forget. Thank you for making me realize that. Cheers to you and to Araki. JoJo is definitely one of the best series/shows to ever exist. ❤️
Finally someone giving Jonathan the respect he deserves
And then Joseph showed up

"Memes. The DNA of soul"
I remember when I was 14 and a random guy joined my PlayStation party to play some piano. It was going great so far and then he started playing Giorno's theme. I didn't even know what it was at the time, I just appreciated his piano playing skills
Excellent video! I really appreciate the little dissection on my content and I'm glad you really like it!
The second in the video he mentioned two notable JoJoTubers, you were one of the first to come to my mind. Well deserved.
I'm disappointed about the hate for the artist too, but not all Jojo fans are like that, and I don't see the comment section stuff for the songs as invasion. They just like JOJO, then they go listen to the songs and after that, they make a comment. We have free speech after all, and they don't harm anyone.
I love arakis new artstyle (better than his original) and I always listened to 70s and 80s rock before jojo but that makes it even better when I see a stand with a song name I like it makes me feel happy and I love how much more people it has drawn in to some of the best songs ever
I met Jojo, for the first time, thanks to the Capcom's videogame in Playstation one, around the year 2000, that game is based, mainly, in "Stardust crusaders", and it blew my mind, the characters, the story, the locations, the music, the atmosphere, it was so unique. Then I read every book, watched every anime series and played each and every game based on this marvelous world created by Araki, and here I am, at 44 years, a Jojo fan for ever.
It’s just crazy that, if it were given the chance in the west back in the 80s and early 90s, my parents could have been aware of Jojo. Heck, maybe even fans of it and could have introduced it to me.
Actually surprised SEW didn't already do this given he's done a Why You Should Watch for each animated Jojo part
That’s actually what I thought to myself aswell but because he’s done other fantastic videos about other fandoms I decided to tackle the jojo fandom taking huge inspiration from the ones he already made.
What made me love Jojo is how unique it is. I simply love the art style, characters and the anime adaptation slaps harder than my dad's belt. It is my favorite show of all time and I did good reading the manga because I want to avoid to vet spoiled many things.
I always knew of jojo because of the meme, one I remember was a pink haired character throwing up razor blades and using a frog as a phone, I was confused until I started reading jojo and last month I finished pt 5 and now I understand understand
*I LOVE IT*
Edit: Also my whole life my uncle had this self made painting of Will Zeppeli hanged in our living room about the t.v!
I'm from a certain Asian country near Japan and now he's in America and he brought the painting with him
He was a huge fan of JoJo's and always liked to subtly dress in a way that seems to look like JoJo's fashion
If I remember correctly the painting was of Will Zeppeli posing while sitting in our living room while a broken stone mask was on the floor nearly crumbled
I contacted him about this ever since but unfortunately he seemed to have lost the painting
He said he loved painting with his friends back in college and they would make these awesome but amateur paintings of their fav manga and anime characters
Some of his friends made other paintings of their fav JoJo characters
Some made that of Dio, Jonathan, Tarkus, and Erina but they seemed to be lost as well
He remembers from memory that the Tarkus painting was breaking Jonathan's back Bane style
But all the rest are lost to time along with the memories
I hope they don't bite the hand that fed them with unjust copyright bs cause it seems like it's heading that way slowly :D
Yeah I see what you mean but that’s why I made sure to credit everyone for there work in the video and if it comes to me having to takedown the video then I will, in the end it’s just a love letter to the community and how aswome a lot of you are for putting hours into the content you guys make.

JoJos has exploded in popularity in the last 2 years.
I joined when it aired on Toonami
I recently joined the JoJo fandom this year because JoJo literally has everything I like in an anime Music, Fashion, and Art. I literally think that it had ruined anime for me in a good way (sometimes bad ngl).... but yea theres a lot of bad apples in the fandom I mean its expected cause every fandom always has that. And i'm in like the deep deep end i'm talking gay shipping and shit. But i never really find a need to hate on someone's vision or force them to do anything. I like to call it my own little comfort circle. But my experience on this fandom... the BEST i've ever been in so far.. I've always want to start VTubing. Needless to say i will 100% based my character's abilities on JoJo's stand ability. Araki made a masterpiece and it really started sparking my inspiration and motivation to get into art again. Cheers to the future and this great video!
Good luck on VTubing!

I love JoJo so much because of the characters, the stories, the imagination, the complex abilities, and the shear energy of fun.
I only started JJBA in 2022 because I remember binging stand breakdown videos on TikTok in 2021 and seeing how cool and different the different stands are. Best decision I made.
It's a risk for mangaka, but in Jojo, every time the story ends, you have to change the main character, change the place, rethink the script, and start a new part.
Araki has achieved these eight times.
how crazy he is.
Will always thank Jojo's for introducing me the power of a strong mind *and* body
I'm surprised you didn't mention Blood Sun Vendetta fan project, unless I missed a screenshot of it
As somone whose special interest is jjba, this video is so amazing! its incredible how much in depth jojos and its community is, and this video shows that
Keep up the good work!
I didn't know that the community treated Sho Aimoto like that, I laughed at that one shot and moved on, can't belive people treated her with such hate and hostility.
JoJo: Is deep, has the best musics and action with great plots and contains all the emotions
The internet: *JojO iS gAY*
Don't lie, it is very gay lol
It's flamboyant not gay but then again the internet is so brain dead they can't tell difference
JoJo basically saved me from drowning myself in negativity during the pandemic, sure the isolation was tiring but add that with an underlying depression (never diagnosed so it could be just extreme cases of sadness), other personal problems and man did this series save me countless of times from being completely GONE in the vast sea of negativity in my head
I started watching Jojo because I thought Stands was such an interesting concept for a power system. And now I think it’s the most creative power system in any piece of fiction ever. I’m so glad I watched this show
At first i was seeing these memes of jjba then i discovered the fan games on roblox which i then watched jjba and i was bamboozled, confused, shocked, amazed at the fact that the "to be continued" meme was from jojos
This is truely one of the JoJo videos of all time
beyond shocked this video only has 1k views rn. you really summde up what i think the majority of jojo fans think - the community isn't perfect but it is so full of creativity and passion
I appreciate that a lot glad you enjoyed the video
lucky it has 75k+ now, as deserved
You know, I'm really surprised that you didn't mention Vettis. He is one of my favorite JoJo creators, even creating his own custom opening with an original song for part 7
Probably just because there are so many great content creators that you can't mention them all without making the video another few minutes long
Vettis, Erixander, and Vehgeto.
The trinity of JoJo animations
That's a very well made video and I enjoyed it a lot.
I especially liked the part addressing "Fujiko's Bizarre Wordly Wisdom".
I think many people took it way to seriously for being just a fun little one shot. One shot manga don't need to tell a very complicated story and sometimes can just be a vessel for drawing something pretty (and that manga looks great imo)
For a show known (even if not exactly it being true in the context of the actual series) for its homoerotic energy between men, I found it a nice addition to include some between women as well.
One other thing worth paying attention to is that it is very consitant with its main theme. Fujiko talks about how erotic art has always been a part of art and human culture, and people enjoying it being a completly natural thing. The one shot itself represents that message and delivers on it. I feel like people feeling disgusted by it completly missed the point the Fujiko was trying to make.
JOJO characters had their vulnerable moments in the anime too tho. We have seen them cry and feeling weak or having guilt
Yeah I guess my point is that I wished that he would linger on those moments a little more at least for earlier parts cause in parts 7 and 8 Araki found a perfect balance between the action and the vulnerable moments.
@@GRChris20 yeah, but we had a bit of those in previous parts too, with Polnaref, Giorno, Narancia, Shigechi and so on. I get you tho, you wanted a bit more, and it would have been even better, but I guess we had to go on with the story. It had to be more BIZZARE. I like the vulnerable moments in JoJo. We get to see that those stoic, brave and badass characters are actually humans with weaknesses, making them more relatable to us.
This has to be one of the best Jojo videos ever made, as someone that draws and is in the fandom scene, I truly enjoy how you didn't just threw all fanwork into a bag like most people would do when thinking on such kind of stuff, and I really loved that you also credits the artists because all of them do such great jobs, is really refreshing to see a fan of a shonen work giving spotlight to the fanart/fanfic side of the fandom, and how great things they can do with a work both admire.
As much as "mainstream" Jojo is now, it just makes me happy that more people can look at it and expirience something that has inspired so many for so long, I think that Jojo is that "confort anime" for many, and how it can be simple fun for some can also be a source of inspiration and learning, which was learning what Araki has been doing with Jojo itself, and to see him grow in all his works is truly a bizarre yet beautiful expirience
I know this was dropped a year ago, but don’t apologize for the length of your videos. We WANT it to be this long. We wouldn’t have clicked if we thought it was “too long”. The effort definitely shows 👍🏾
Thanks I really appreciate it and checkout the next video I’m posting very soon and again glad you enjoyed the video.
25:50 the creators of the jjba anime need to hire this man
bruh i just realized the "to be continue" was around for years and i didnt know where it originated until 2020
13:20 yo thanks for mentioning Joey's Special Experience! I've worked on some translations in JSE, and it's such a blast to revisit old chapters during the process and see it transform into something so awful you can't help but feel proud about.
JoJo's was the first anime I ever watched. I love it. I watch other anime nowadays (they're great) but they don't evoke the same feeling I got from when I first started watching JoJo. Some people in the community are awful, yes, but the people who do good truly stand out.
Just wanna point out that I dont think jojo will have an end any time soon because Araki has said that he will never stop making jojo. So even if the main story does end it’s likely he would still make things like side storys
Truly amazing video thank you for mentioning all these creators that brought me to jojo's in the first place. Jojo's has been honestly the best thing i ever did and whenever I come back to re-watch it it's like a food you would always look forward to having as a child or re-living an old happy memory from easier times. The pure bliss and wonder I got when I experienced for the first time was something I've never felt with any other anime and the art and tones I'd see in the mangas are so beautiful and really inspire me to be a better artist. the music is unreal I often just listen to the OSTs and they give me chills every time. I am so grateful for araki for creating such an incredible masterpiece and for all the years he spent writing, drawing and researching to create something that truly represents "a celebration of humanity".
bruh didnt talk about kakyoin laying an egg
Honestly like most fandoms I think this is blown out of proportion. I’ve been a fan since the aughts. I have never once witnessed any normal fan act in the way everyone bitches about. It’s like with undertale where everyone says that the fandom ruined the game but every fan you asked wouldn’t come close to the stigma. It really just seems like another classic internet moment where the internet makes its accusation and everyone just lets it stick.
as someone who creates jojo oc's and writes fanfiction and roleplays with them - i really appreciate and love this video! this story, this fandom connects and it makes so many people happy and get them creative
Yep exactly that’s what I love about it, it’s constantly challenging your imagination.
You really managed to capture an entire franchise in just a single video. Why does this video not have at least 10 Million views?
Great video. I was going to say the title of the video and the video itself reminded to Super Eyepatch Wolf, and then I see the inspiration on the description. XD
I’m a huge JoJo fan and have been for many years. I have every English hardcover release, all the japense Tonkubans including steel all run and stone ocean. I’ve also almost collected the first Shonen Jump to be released with a new JoJo part, and true #1 if you will. I also have over 50 different SAS JoJos figures. I say all this because I understand if very much the overly passionate fan but I’ve never ever ever been negative/toxic towards others because I love the series. I’ve always been in the camp of I’ll show you my favourite stuff if you’re interested and it’s okay if you don’t like it but that comes from self awareness something our community really lacks. If you are a super fan which is short for FANatic it’s important you are honest with you self so you can check y yourself along the way. Hopefully this video will open our communities eyes to the fact that some of us hardcores can be off putting and should embrace newbies more because they are going to help us get more of what we love.
Araki knew why he put word "Bizarre"
to the name of JoJo
This video made me feel proud, then sad and lowkey embarassed, to even more proud.
I remember my first encounter with jojo was with the late april fools of smbz episode 9 by Alvin earthworm or Mark haynes, he did confirm that he had just found dio's ultimate from jojo hftf off a gaming board and or google idk which, it wasn't until the "to be continued" meme blew up on vine and then afew years after that my friend was begging me to watch it, i didn't do so til i was bored and had nothing else better to do, so i binged through it
This was beautifully articulated and put together, and I’m SO SO happy to see appreciation for some of the fanartists in this video!! There are so many amazingly talented artists and writers making all sorts of short stories, aus, and content of characters and scenes we simply didn’t get to see, and I never see any mention of them (especially in a positive light) in any analysis/essay video. Thank you for that! It’s good to know we’re appreciated :)
Makes me sad you didn’t touch more on the countless AMVs JoJo has. There’s a good chance you didn’t see (removed bc copyright) but the RUclipsr EthanRek had made the entirety of golden wind into a 3 hour long AMV featuring all the canon music references in time with the action- Called ‘The Golden Wind Experience’. I myself have made tons of them and it helps me embrace the reason I love JoJo so much, which is the same reason I love music. The ability to bring people together all over the world, that’s why I spend most my free time making amvs with the canon music references, I kinda feel like I’m obligated to. Excellent video too btw but that goes without saying, I’m sure you know that already. You’ve definitely earned a sub. I love people that pour their heart into their content, you remind me of myself in that sense :p looking forward to seeing more content from you!
but in the fact , netflix kinda ruined jojo's part 6 by making a parts for that season , like 1 part of 12 episodes every 1 years , which it's pretty boring specially when netflix is hacing a downfall these days
Those last few seconds of the video where it’s just the spacious silence/music? Bro, I’m crying dude. I said outlowd “No.. not the f*%*#ng music, man!”. Bravo.
Sonic mega-fan here. It doesn't matter much to your main point, but that Sonic strip actually came out in 2015. It was part of Archie Sonic's Off-Panel series of strips that they used to fill space in the letters and editorial section of each issue. The comic had been going since the 90s, but that strip was in issue 270.
Yeah I checked it again and I messed up on that info, but thanks for letting me know.
I used to do that JoJo reference "joke" because I both found it funny and people liked me for it. I'm a very socially awkward person when it comes to actually talking with my voice. This video is genuinely amazing. I apologize if the first part of this comment was a vent. Anyways I just enjoy the series and I'm glad it got big but at the same time I'm not. A series getting big with memes is a double edged sword.
Coincidentally, a double-edged sword is a JoJo ref-
This video is gonna blow up like a nuke because how accurate it is
Honestly, this right. Man, I can't describe it but you really hit every nail in the coffin! Glad to be a JoJo, through the Good and the Bad, looking forward to where Araki continues to carry the series and the enduring legacy that never ends!
29:50 This idea of “The characters living better lives but these lives do not get to be seen by the reader” is one I feel is present at the endings of the games Undertale and OneShot. It’s a really powerful concept - the reader wants to know more, to see more, but alas, it cannot be.
Whitesnake's Miscalculation was so fun to read and its sad to see the community going wild on it only because its different but in jojo its all about new ideas to tell a nice story. This One Shot was amazing and it was something fresh but still something everyone knew.
As I am currently typing this, I'm laying in my bed, crying next to my cat and a bowl of popcorn over a show I haven't even completed yet.
I'm starting freshman year at my school, I've already gone there the past two years, but the switch to highschool difficulty is not my fear, its the people. I'm different in a lot of ways, not just being a jojo fan, but the fact that jojo effects me to an almost agonizing degree. I wake up and see Jotaro in the corner of my eye, I see characters and lose it, sometimes having to dance the feeling I feel when I see characters. And that's when I realize how powerful it it. When I can make an entire dance out of how I lose it over Jotaro, or Bucciarati, or Abbacchio. When I can just gush about a character like Kakyoin to an aunt, an uncle, a grandparent, and while they don't know what I'm talking about, I can still talk about it to no end.
I suffer from a lot of mental setbacks, like adhd, sensory issues, and phobias that make life a lot to handle. I'm scared of freshman year because while yes, I'll make friends and maybe a few who like jojo, they never will understand me, even on that degree. But I realize that's just life.
I have a lot of aspirations, like being a diesel mechanic, a writer, a dancer, but the main one I think about is a lepidopterist. And yes, while Stephen Hillenburg and his passion for marine biology helped him create my favorite childhood show, Jotaro Kujo, ironically also a marine biologist, showed me that really anyone can do what the aspire to be if they can. Someone like Jotaro, who used to smoke and drink beer, rough up the bad guys and ultimately save the day, is a human like me. He had a troubled life, some things even relating to my own, but in the end, he did something I never expected. He became a marine biologist. To me, that's what sets him apart. How he is somehow the most human in the way he just... did it. Got s doctorate over something he had passion for. And it makes me wanna do that too. I wanna write these stories of characters I relate to, dance my emotions out, fix trucks and cars that I have loved for years, and most of all, study the moths I love the most. Moths make me happy, no matter if they die so soon, or have no real meaning. I love them a lot. And I can say that a manga series started in the late 80s inspired me to be myself and nothing else.
I took my freshman photo wearing Kakyoin and Polnareff's earrings, wearing a part 3 shirt and pants with a pear of teal tube socks with little cherries and my doc martens. JoJo's will forever be a part of my life now, immortalized in my freshman year photo.
Man this is just ranty, usually my heartfelt comments are more structured but it's really late where I am so I'm just saying stuff.
I loved seeing people like therealsnipster and saltydkdan get mentioned that was cool.
But most of all. JoJo's reminded me something right now. No matter how bad my life is at times, or how good, something as small as this strange series can be so important to me. It's crazy. Bizarre if you will.
And at the end of the day, when the world blows up, or the world sets ablaze, I'll be happy to look back and say What A Wonderful World, because though the song says it too, JoJo's reminded me of it.
It is by far one of the greatest series of all time. Every story uniquely different and nothing repeats itself. Araki has shown his great talent as an artist and a storyteller through the masterpiece of JJba. When he started phantom blood in the eighties it was a little comic that he expected to end on part three. Now he’s finished part 8 and part 9 is in our future. Araki has been so dedicated in making it that 40 years later he’s still trying.

Jojo’s Bizarre adventure. It’s bizarre not because it has fighting spirits and people eating hands, but because Clothes are Unbreakable.
This is facts. I remember hearing audio from jojo heritage for the future of dio doing his special attacks alot as a kid and being none the wiser.
Wow, this really feels like something Super Eyepatch Wolf could have made
A bit too much at times, to the point where it felt kind of weird to watch a video so similar to his in it's writing, pacing, duration, concept, even in the way you talk sometimes (without the funny accent of course), while still knowing that despite how much it is like a Super Eyepatch Wolf video, it's not actually a Super Eyepatch Wolf video.
But other than that, it was super interesting, well-documented and made me realize once again how fucking awesome it is that something like Jojo even exists, let alone has the worldwide influence on our culture it has. I've been a Jojo fan for a few years now, and it pretty much became normal to me, but sometimes there are things that I see on the Internet like this video that just remind me why I love Jojo so much.
How I came across jojo is that I saw a meme about how the stand named Red Hot Chili Peppers had a dick nerf and I was instantly enthralled
Name a fandom that isn't cancerous.
Yea but the jojo one is the kind you can't ignore. I love the anime (besides part 3 the anime dragged it out to much) but its very obnoxious when you click on a hellsing video and you find references to dio in the comments. Mha for example is more cancerous but they stay in there fandom.
The Kirby fandom still isn't cancer.
Fist of The North Star
Mostly because everyone that cares about it is like 40.
I heard the Splatoon fandom is pretty nice, but then Splatfests roll around and it’s kinda like the Purge... but you pick a side based on whom you simp for in the current idol group
3:43 I love this whole speech here.
It is crazy
2016 was the best year of my life and a huge part of that was thanks to Jojo. For me DiU is synonymous with 2016 and the best part of my life, it was so fun being part of the fandom back then and I was naive and happy ): Part 7 is one I can relate to a lot, the feelings of self-doubt and finding my way and shit like that. The series introduced me to a lot of music and made me get more into music I already found, would have liked, etc. and now music is probably my favorite hobby. Crazy Diamond is my favorite song and I got more into it and checked it out again because of part 4. I don’t hold the other parts in as high regard now, and honestly feel like I grew out of following the series, but this series made up a huge part of who I am
Yea pt7 is hella relatable bru
What the internet did to Jojo is similar what the internet did to MLP and other series that tend to have a small niche fandom at that
It not only expanded the audience for that franchise but blew it up and pretty much spread everywhere to all communities
JoJo being manly doesn’t prove it’s not gay because what’s manlier than loving another man? 😎 (Joseph and Avdol intensifies)

prior to watching jojo i never heard of jojo or seen memes, one day i was hanging out with my friends. My friend was like "yo you should watch this anime called jojo, its cool i guess". I then wtahced parts 1-4 and caught up to golden wind in like a week.
Great video! I think you should put a spoiler warning inside though, a timer or something, for people who haven't read part 6 or even started the series yet.
I do kinda miss when I would tell someone I was a jojo fan and they would say "whats jojos?" NOW when I tell someone I watch jojos that ether say "EWWWW THATS GAY" or *PLAYS GIONOS THEME AND STARTS SCREMING* "ZAAA WOOURLD DO" over and over AND FUCKING OVER 2019 has ruined the jojo comity
we should start over... all- over- again
thats why you become a JoJo Enjoyer instead
I have to thank the internet for memeing the series so hard. Kept seeing it referenced in all my favorite communities and kept seeing the most hilariously insane shit with no context (like Abachio casually sipping his drink before joining in on stomping a dudes face brutally) that eventually I broke down and had to see what it was all about.
Came for the memes, stayed for the amazing series. Like I was hooked before Dio even put on the mask, never got how Part 1 gets so little love. Sure it's the weakest part but how can you not love Jonathan? How can you not love to hate Part 1 Dio?
Sadly however I utterly cannot read the manga. Got sick of waiting for the rest of part 6 and tried reading it but I just can't follow the action in Araki's panels. His art is incredible but I have a very hard time following what is actually happening visually unless it's clearly spelled out or incredibly simple like Star Platinum punching things. Jojo battles are such abstract weirdness that it can be very hard to tell what's happening in a series of static images. Guess that's why King Crimson was a meme before part 5 got animated.
4:20 great video but Guile's hair was actually inspired by polnareff at first
6:50 is exactly my thoughts on the show before I started watching it a year ago. I’ve always known about it, but never gave it a chance. Now its in my top 5 favorite anime, alongside FMAB
More like What Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Did To The Internet
Lol
This video perfectly shows why I recently got into this fandom. Just like JoJo, another series I absolutely love has roots dug deep into the internet, is carried on by fans and even has JoJo references. Won't mention it but it's the series that spawned "Bad Apple" and inspired Toby Fox. Nonetheless, fandom heavy serieses are my favourite.
ive been watching jojo from the start.
that was about the most sobering, heartfelt video I've ever seen, I'm in the first bit of part 5 after a long binge I had no idea was even in me, I came to jojo because I had heard about how much the anime community as a whole respected jojo fans, mostly just because I heard they have good tastes in a lot of aspects, I always feel a bit nervous when just starting an anime, like a first date I try to find out as much as I can about an anime, get to know it, find out about the community, often, the deciding factor for me is how inspiring and interesting the video essays about it are, I avoid memes though until after I'm well into a series because I hate getting spoiled at all. I have a harder time getting into shonen compared to romance, mostly because there were waaaay too many naruto fans in elementary school and they traumatized me, and romance/slice of life is my favorite genre. In the end, I would love to be able to tell you this video inspired me to watch jojo, it definitely would've if my recommendations had blessed me with it sooner, but sadly, it was instead just the fact that I'm into fighting games and started getting recommended heritage for the future stuff.
this... this is a love letter dude... love it...
I think IDW Sonic comic also made a jojo reference in one panel.
HOW THE FUCK DOES THIS ABSOLUTE MASTERPEICE ONLY HAVE 10K VIEWS
Lol
What you said about drawing, putting down the pen, loosing an escape from your more melancholy thoughts and being inspired by JoJo to pick it back up was exactly how i felt with the anime Air Gear. It was the same for me with that. Once I realized the Anime was canceled but the manga continued i began reading and it inspired me to draw. To this day my favorite OC’s that i’ve drawn are characters that exist in the world of AG. My point is what you said truly hit home because i’ve reached that point where i had put down my pen and paper and i understand how it is loosing such an amazing escape from my own thoughts. However like you found JoJo I believe that inspiration to draw again will come from a new medium; be it a story or otherwise. Thank you for making this video
Bruh the moment he mentioned Boingo, I knew he was gonna talk about the 9/11 coincidence.
I'm glad I sat down and watched this for 36 minutes straight instead of doing my work, I agree with everything you said :')
This was a beautiful video, what a great fanbase (not the extreme or edgy ones tho) congrats on this, and let's keep bringing people into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
22:00 But why tho? Like seriously, why would anyone even think of doing that. It's honestly disgusts me thinking that someone would go to such extremes just to say "I didn't like that"...So what, move tf on, if u don't like it someone will. Jeez man no wonder everyone fcking hates our community.
Edit: Great video by the way
