Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services - Engine 10 & "New to them" Ladder 10 Responding

In this video, you'll see Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services Engine 10 (running a Spare Engine), & "New to them" Ladder 10, responding from FireHall No.10 to a Report of Smoke in a Structure call in the University Endowment Lands area. Engine 19, Squad 12, Rescue 8, & Battalion 3 also responded, but are not seen in this video.
Ladder 10's truck is currently a loaner from Safetek. This ladder started it's career with Colton Fire Department in California, and served them for 10 years, and then Qualicum Beach Fire Department up on Vancouver Island for 17 years before being retired, and then being put back into active service with VFRS, replacing Tower 10 after it was decommissioned due to on going mechanical issues.

Ladder 10 - 1996 HME 1871 SFO tandem / Westates (1250/250/16A/100' Aerial Innovations mid-mount)

Vancouver is actually about to have a new 2024 Pierce Enforcer 100' mid-mount platform tower placed in service any day now, and it's got the Q, and they also have 3 2025 Peirce Enforcer 100' mid-mount platform towers on order as well, which will most likely have the Q as well
