A Significant Name!
A name is a combination of words by which a person, place, thing, body, or class-or any object of thought-is designated, called, marked, and known.
Because a name has meaning, it can carry a certain amount of power and influence, whether in a positive or negative way.
The importance of a name is clearly demonstrated by the name of Jesus. The Bible says His name is higher than any other name and carries power and authority to heal sickness, remove lack, gives identity and reveal truth.
When we go shopping these days, many of us use member cards. These cards mark us as a member of a brand, and when we use them, we can receive discounts or items for free.
In a similar way, as followers of Jesus, we now have access to His name. The Bible says that when we request anything in His name, He will do it for us.
When you go through tough situations-whether it’s struggling to grow your business, facing rejection in job applications, or dealing with an unapproved visa-remember there is one name you can turn to. With just one request, say: “Savior, do it for me!” In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Philippians 2:10-11 “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
